The friendly Sorgue

Bright apartment of 100 m2 pleasant and perfectly decorated in Villa. 1st floor outdoor terrace overlooks the garden and the swimming pool. The exterior of 3000 m2 includes the Park, the swimming pool, the barbecue and the pergola and are reserved for our vacationers.
The Owner on the ground floor shows the utmost discretion.

Isle sur la Sorgue called 'Venice Provençale' colored with green and water with its many canals is located between the Monts du Vaucluse and the Luberon. Isle sur la Sorgue, Capital of the Flea Market is an essential place for bargain hunters (large fairs at Easter and August 15), many art galleries. On Sunday, large Provençal Market, one of the most beautiful in the Region, Weekly market also on Thursday. 14 paddle wheels, Floating market on the 1st Sunday of August, Corso Nautique the last Weekend of July.
Isle sur la Sorgue is set at the foot of the Vaucluse plateau. Within a radius of thirty km, places as varied as Avignon and its famous Palais des Papes and its unmissable July Festival, the Luberon Regional Park, Fontaine de Vaucluse (the biggest resurgence in Europe) Orange and its Roman Ancient Theater, Gordes and its numerous listed Villages: St Rémy, Les Baux de Provence, Roussillon, Le Mont Ventoux.

A wonderful location

From our first meeting with Maryse and Remy, we felt at home. The location is great, just a 20 minute walk into town, or a short drive to other picturesque towns and villages.L’isle-sur-la-Sorgue is beautiful and vibrant.

Welcome Place in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

Hosts were wonderful and made us feel right at home. Like visiting close friends. Hope to visit them again sometime. Very generous and kind. We were sad to leave.

Amazing stay at the friendly sorgue

We had a wonderful stay at Remy and Maryse home at the end of August. The location of the property was in a safe and quiet part of town and a short walk into the centre. The apartment is very spacious and clean and the swimming pool a real treat on those very hot days in the south of France. The apartment is in a great location to explore various places of interest in the region. Remy and Maryse are great hosts, very kind people and very good with children. We had such an amazing time that we hope to visit the friendly sorgue again in the future.

Charming spot in Provence

We spent nearly a month at the property and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating. The home is a short walk to town with its famous open air market. It is very close to a nice grocery store, produce market, and boulangeries. Great to have a Michelin starred restaurant within walking distance as well! We very much appreciated the large pool given the 36-40 degree days during our stay! The apartment was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended.

Serenity in sur la Sorgue

A semi rural setting 2 km from the veille ville of L’Isle sur la Sorgue is the perfect place to stay, as we did for 7 weeks. Far enough to be away from tourists hustle & bustle but close enough to walk to the markets in 20 minutes. The large well equipped apartment has a terrace overlooking the yard and pool. The pool & yard made it seem like we were at a private spa. Our dog particularly liked exploring the grounds looking for KiKi the cat, who was not that interested in being found! But what sets this place apart from all others are the hosts Remy & Maryse. Always helpful, welcoming, and understanding of our Français rudimentaire. We had some great franglish conversations!

Unterkunft mit Familienanschlus

We had a fantastic time in the apartment. It was as described. The pool was spacious and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool every day. The apartment (kitchen, bath, etc ) was well equipped. It was a great starting point for excursions to Mt Ventoux, Aix-en-Provence, Avignon and more nice places of the region. Walking to the city of L‘isle sur la sorgue was even possible with the kids from the apartment. Maryse and Remy were lovely hosts who cared for us like for family members. We were invited to sangria and wine and they even cared for us whenever possible although we had hardly no french knowledge. Thank you very much. we will come back.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, le calme, la piscine et surtout un accueil très chaleureux étaient au rendez-vous. La région est très belle, il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter et de bons produits à déguster. Séjour tout en douceur de Provence

Ma famille et moi avons adoré notre séjour. Idylle nahe der Sorgue

Ein geräumiges Apartment, gute Betten, idyllische Lage, man hört Vogelgezwitscher und Grillen zirpen, auf dem Nebengrundstück grasen Ziegen. Der Pool hat eine gute Größe und wird von dem Besitzer täglich gewartet. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Qualité de l'accueil

La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée. Rarement louée l'hiver, elle est pourtant parfaitement chauffée, lumineuse et les propriétaires ont une qualité d'accueil rarement expérimentée ! Le plaisir de les croiser, des petites attentions et du partage de la galette et du gâteau des rois autour d'une coupe nous laissera un excellent souvenir de cette escapade hivernale où même notre petit chien s'est senti chez lui !

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, schöne separate Ferienwohnung, toller Pool etwas abseits der Stadt. Dorthin gibt es einen netten 20-minütigen Fussweg. Von hier aus gibt es viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Sehr freundliche Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern

Von Anfang bis zum Ende sehr sehr schön mit vorzüglichen Gastgebern! Alles stimmte! Die Bilder auf der Homepage sind realistisch und der Ort L‘Isle sur la Sorgue sehenswert! Auch die Umgebung ist für Besucher sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben der Urlaub sehr genossen!

Un gîte fortement recommandé

L'appartement est comme inséré et formidablement approprié pour les vacances avec les (petits) enfants. Le pool est génial pour nager où jouer. L’accueil et contact avec les propriétaires était très chaleureux et amicale. Ils était toujours disponible pour aider ou tuyauter. C’est un gîte fortement recommandé.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf

Wat hebben wij een fijn verblijf gehad bij Maryse en Remy. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk, discreet en behulpzaam. Het appartement is ruim en over compleet ingericht. Het zwembad is heerlijk. Het appartement is een prima uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar Orange, Avignon, maar ook in de buurt is meer dan genoeg te beleven en te zien. De markt op zondag is zeker een aanrader. Je voelt je echt koning te rijk als je hier op vakantie bent.

Wie zuhause sein.

Unsere Gastgeber Maryse und Remy waren traumhaft. Liebevoll, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein wunderschöne, gemütliche Wohnung. Die Küche war perfekt mit allem ausgestattet. Tolle Lage mit großem Pool

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in den Osterferien gehabt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. M. und Mme Chauvin sind sehr sympathisch und unkompliziert. Das Appartement ist ruhig gelegen und so wie die Bilder es zeigen. Der Pool ist toll, der Ort ist sehr schön. Fußläufig in 5 Minuten ist der Intermarché zu erreichen, der Ortskern mit Markt in 15 Gehminuten. Von l'isle sur la Sorgue aus erreicht man auch sehr gut einige andere sehenswerte Ausflugsziele mit dem Auto. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Séjour très réussi

Notre impression générale est excellente. Le logement est en tout point conforme à la description, très bien situé, au calme, très bien équipé, il ne manque aucun ustensile dans la cuisine ! Le salon est grand, lumineux et confortable, la literie très bonne. Très belle terrasse, beau jardin, grande piscine même si nous n'avons pas pu en profiter comme nous étions fin octobre. Et surtout il faut souligner l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, toujours au petit soin et en même temps très discrets. On a cherché un défaut, on n'en a pas trouvé !!

Great property, a little further from the village than we would have liked but still acceptable

The apartment was large and very comfortable. A little dated but still very clean acceptable. The pool was great and very well kept. The hosts were really (really) nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. When we had an evening with friends in the village they took us there in their car and collected us again later in the evening despite having guests themselves that same evening. When we arrived they invited us for drinks and nibbles and had also left welcome supplies in the apartment (wine, dips, bread sticks, orange juice, etc.). In short they could not have been more welcoming and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them whole heartedly.

Excellent séjour. Des hôtes inoubliables.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Tout était très bien l’accueil chaleureux ( merci pour les petites attentions) , la très grande gentillesse, la disponibilité, l’écoute, les conseils des propriétaires présents mais très très discrets. L’appartement très grand, est bien agencé et équipé. Très belle terrasse sécurisée avec vue sur la magnifique piscine. Les espaces verts ainsi que le vaste parking pour se garer sont entièrement clôturés. Top pour notre petit Boston terrier. La villa est située au calme mais proche de toutes les commodités. Inutile de s’encombrer de courses pour le voyage Intermarché à 1 mn en voiture et tous les commerces. Idem médecin vétérinaire pharmacie…) à proximité. Le centre de l’isle sur la Sorgue est tout proche à pied ou en voiture . Cette ville est idéalement située pour visiter. Très joli marché le dimanche matin sans oublier les restaurants . Avignon, Mont Vantoux, les villages perchés du Luberon comme Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, etc …sans oublier Vaison la Romaine Baux de Provence, St Rémy, Orange, moulin de Daudet… Beaucoup d’autres choses à voir et à faire encore. Il nous faudra revenir. Vous nous avez chouchoutés comme des amis. Merci pour tout.

Un super séjour !

Une propriété parfaite avec un cadre ideal, une belle piscine, la maison est spacieuse, bien équipée, avec une delicieuse decoration artistique (bravo l’artiste !). Les hotes sont d’une grande gentillesse, avec un accueil chaleureux, une grande disponibilité. Merci beaucoup à eux !
