The property was very clean throughout. Kitchen was well equipped allowing us to make some meals rather than go out to eat. Had a brief problem with the internet but Dawn came over a few minutes after inquiring about it and helped us get connected. So no real issue, just an indication of the owner's helpfulness. Enjoyed taking walks on the property to the pond. Also went to Beth's just down the road to get some fresh fruit, vegetables and deserts
Awesome experience. Dan and Dawn were great hosts. The house exceeded our expectations, it was very cozy and comfortable. It was just far enough off the main route not to be disturbed by major traffic, but close enough to quickly access it. Highly recommend!!!
This property was beautiful. It was a short walk to a pond where we could canoe. The property did not have air conditioning but the nights cooled quickly and the window fans did an amazing job cooling the upstairs bedrooms.Location is convenient to Rockland, Camden, Waldoboro and Damariscotta.Host was very responsive.
It was a great little cottage to rent. Very clean and well maintained property with just enough of everything to have a comfortable stay - kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials, extra towels and bedding. There were even lots of movies and board games for the kids. There is a lovely screened in porch, perfect for morning coffee and keeping the mosquitoes at bay in the evenings. The host was great at communicating and very accommodating. Location was great too - just out of the way to be quiet and peaceful, but a close drive to little towns, farms, etc.
Dawn could not have been more accommodating during our arrival and departure. Her added check-in to forewarn us of icy conditions in the driveway was above and beyond. We look forward to our next stay.
The house and location was perfect for a quiet vacation. We were close to everything yet out in the country for a much needed quiet space. Definitely would stay again.
Great location close to some beautiful places in mid coast Maine. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Pretty walk down to the lake. Enjoyed our stay!
The house was very cute and quaint, and the location was perfect for our destination. Communication with the owners was thorough, timely and professional. The surrounding property was beautiful and well kept.
Beautiful old farmhouse. Needs a little TLC, but is located in a peaceful, quiet setting. It was a great location for a basecamp to explore Maine to the north and south.
