CHARMING OCEAN VIEW BEACH HOUSE MCA#496

Enjoy our ocean view home in beautiful Manzanita on the North Oregon Coast. Our comfortable home is perfect for a small family, three couples, a ladies' weekend or a romantic weekend for two. Our home is one and a half blocks from the ocean with direct beach access where you can stroll the magnificent, seven mile beach. We also have a view of Neahkahnie Mountain looking north. Just walk across the street to tee off on picturesque Manzanita Golf Course, or bike to Nehalem State Park on one of our two bikes. Tennis, volleyball and playground are just a few blocks away at the City Park.

Our fully equipped kitchen/great room with vaulted ceiling, skylight and river rock fireplace is on the upper level looking out to the ocean. The great room is surrounded by full length windows for amazing views. Relax on our large deck off the great room with a good book while enjoying a grand ocean view. The master bedroom (queen bed) with a large walk-in closet has a private deck and full bath with skylight. Our additional guest bath is also on upper level. The lower level has two bedrooms (one with queen bed, one with twin beds), full bath, and utility room. We have a barbecue and 4 Adirondack chairs on the large upper deck looking out to the ocean. Enjoy beautiful flowers on our deck during summer months.

We are ten blocks to the main street of Manzanita where you will find wonderful restaurants, delightful gift and antique shops, wine bar, bookstore, 2 grocery stores, coffee shops, and bakery. Excellent crabbing in Nehalem Bay is just three miles away and you are welcome to take our crab pot with you. Sorry, we do not allow pets or smoking.

We have Wi-Fi, a flat screen/cable TV, DVD player and a large selection of CDs as well as games, puzzles, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrella, port-a-crib and highchair.
There is a smart TV in downstairs bedroom.

My adult daughter and I had a very quiet, relaxing time for our annual mother-daughter retreat. The house was extremely clean and so well decorated, you felt you were just visiting a friend instead of a vacation rental, and we will definitely return. (Just one thing, it has ice trays instead of an “ice maker”, so you may want to pick up a bag of ice if needed.)

Wonderful week on the coast

The house has a nice deck with flowers and beautiful views. We found the kitchen to be well equipped, and everything easy to find. Check in was easy, communication was great, and notes in strategic locations covered any possible questions. I would absolutely stay at this home again!

We enjoyed this home for five nights. It is close enough to the beach and very close to the golf course. The place was clean and had a nice kitchen. We also enjoyed the view from the 2nd floor every day.

The house was quite nice and had a n ocean view. It had a lovely deck that wrapped around the living room where you could sit and watch the sunset. Easy walk to beach or town. Manzanita is close to Oswald West state park and Cape Meares as well as mamy other coastal attractions.

We were fortunate to find this beautiful view lot in 1997 and Hinkhouse Homes built us a wonderful house maximizing the view. Our family had always enjoyed the coast and we couldn't be happier with the house, the views, the location and charming Manzanita.

What makes this property unique

A wonderful panoramic view of the Pacific and only a short, flat walk to the ocean. Watch the athletic kite and sail boarders ride the Manzanita surf and enjoy the magnificent sunsets from our deck or living room with floor to ceiling windows.
