Clean, cozy and close to everything.

We stayed in the upstairs studio apartment at Marisol for two weeks before we moved to our two-month stay at another location in Barra de Navidad. Pros: The apartment was clean and cozy for two people. We loved the pool and the availability of bikes and a barbecue on site. Since everything is so close in Barra, we found ourselves biking around all the time and never missed having a car. If we needed to go somewhere out of town taxis were cheap and easy to get. There was plenty of cabinet and storage space for clothes and personal items. Cons: The internet signal was often unavailable for a day or more. The bathroom often had a strong sewer smell, probably coming from the open air vent in the ceiling. A few kitchen basics such as bowls, silverware, plates and cutting board would be nice.

Great communication with owner, great pool, terrific location

WiFi was great!, we could not get the TV to function properly and neither could the guests next to us get our tv to function properly. I called the housekeeper and (because I think of the language barrier - mine), we never did get the TV working. I am not sure if the hot water was on a timer but the shower's hot water seems to last only for a brief shower. Over all a very good experience and would recommend!

Perfect Spot

This was a perfect spot for us during our stay in Barra. The location was great: close to everything yet just far enough away to enjoy quiet peaceful nights. We were able to walk to the beach and the entire town easily from this location. Communication with Marisol was outstanding. The only issue was our inability to get the Roku to work. However, who really needs tv when the beach is only a few blocks away. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice and quiet and safe

Lovely little bedroom and bath....safe and secure. No dishes except two spoons, two plastic glasses and coffe cups and TV does not work...no receiver...but who needs it when you are only a short walk from beach and town. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Location, location, location!

Great home away from home. Secure property with lock boxes, wifi and pool. Minutes from everything including the bus, restaurants, and shops. Easy walk to the barrio for an even better selection of groceries and restaurants that offer delicious comida.
