The estate Santa Maria was a country house that 40 years ago gave shelter to the first tourists of the morning.
It is now a modern residence with comfortable apartments, surrounded by olive trees, in the Gargano National Park.
Both the village and the sea are 500 meters away and are easily reached by a footpath .A relaxing and familiar environment awaits guests at this hotel: the apartments are modern and functional and the owners personally take care of the welcome with kindness and care every requirement of the host.

Clean and modern apartment 5 mins drive to the beach and Mattinata

Pino was very welcoming and helpful. He showed us round the local area with suggestions on where to eat, swim, walk and shop. We had a perfect week at the end of September/ beginning of October. Lots of beach bars closed on the last weekend of September but we could still swim and find places to have coffee and food. We loved the area - lots of good walking, swimming and food and not too touristy. Would recommend a car as there's lots to explore.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely setting.

Located between Mattinata town and the beach, it is easy walking distance to both (approx. 10 minutes). The apartment is clean, well equipped and quiet. The communal roof terrace gives stunning views of the town, mountains and sea. Pino is friendly, welcoming and helpful, as is his sister Anna who speaks excellent English. Anna came to greet us on our arrival to give advice and she was available by text throughout the week. It is reasonably easy to travel around without a car, the bus stop is located in Mattinata town. Out of season (September) buses are not too regular, but we managed to get everywhere we wanted to go with a little careful planning! The beach and harbour are beautiful, as is the surrounding countryside. This is a very peaceful and relaxing part of Puglia. I would fully recommend this lovely apartment and it will be our first choice when we visit this region again.

Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati molto bene presso la Tenuta Santa Maria. L’appartamento, ubicato all'interno di un bellissimo oliveto secolare, era esattamente come descritto nel sito, confortevole, pulito, bene attrezzato e accessoriato. Ringrazio il proprietario sig. Pino e sua moglie che sono stati particolarmente gentili ed ospitali, fornendoci tutte le informazioni necessarie per raggiungere facilmente i negozi/supermeracti e i locali in zona e le spiagge più vicine (raggiungibili anche a piedi). Da questa posizione abbiamo potuto visitare tutti i luoghi più noti e spettacolari del Gargano, sia nell'entroterra che sulla costa (spiagge fino a Vieste e Peschici, Monte Sant'Angelo, San Giovanni Rotondo, foresta Umbra, ecc).

Comfortable Country Stay

We had a wonderful time. Everything was very clean inside. A five minute walk to a small grocery story. We befriended two cats there on the property. The owners were friendly, engaging and generous with their time and interest in making our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

Residence molto bello, appartamenti nuovi e dotati di tutto il necessario e posizione comoda per raggiungere le varie spiagge. Sig. Prencipe è sempre disponibile a consigliare ed orientare. Bellissima vacanza!
