FALASARNA VILLAS "Villa Chrisanthi"

Two stone villas, 150 square meters each, are built at the foot of the Prophet Elijah. Located 400 meters from the village of Platanos, Kissamos and 45 km from the city of Chania (52 km from the airport of Chania).

The Falasarna Villas overlook the Gulf of Falasarna (4 Km away from the beach) and the unique sunset of western Crete.

Each villa is designed in three levels and has three bedrooms. It also features a large central space (kitchen and living room).

Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a communal WC. Each villa also has a separate entrance and a private swimming pool of 50 square meters.

The premises have been made with respect to the environment and traditional architecture and have the necessary equipment (central heating, central air conditioning, TV, PC, internet and home equipment). The location is quiet but not isolated, ideal for your family or friends.

The owner of Falasarna Villas is the archaeologist Maria Mottaki. She is married with Vassilis Mitropoulos, who is responsible bookings. They have two children.Stella and Elias.

The Falasarna Villas are first class accommodations in accordance with the decision of the Greek National Tourism Organization 6855, Signal No.: 1354-13-0144.

Each villa is suitable for 6-8 persons (maximum 8 persons).
(6 persons sleep on regular beds + 2 sleep on sofa-beds or on extra beds)

Perfect Villa

Wow! Our family of six had a great stay here! Communication was quick and clear throughout the booking process and stay. The villa itself was great! A ton of space, and a great patio where we enjoyed the pool and deck chairs for a whole day after our Samaria Gorge Hike! Great restaurants nearby, and the family sailboat tour was awesome! We want to come back!!

Gorgeous property

This house was incredible! Beautiful inside and out. It was clean and had all of the amenities. Due to our itinerary, we spent most of the days out of the house. However we did get to spend a full afternoon in the pool. If I could extend my stay by a few days to kick back and relax, then this is the property I would choose to do it at. It was the private villa experience for a perfect getaway.

Super friendly and helpful host. We had some problems with the power in the kitchen upon our arrival. The host was helpful and fixed the problem quickly. The house is in a nice location and with a nice view, although there's some distance to some of the tourist attractions so be prepared to drive if you want to see Knossos Palace or Elafonissi Beach. There's a town a few minutes from the house with supermarkets and restaurants. The house has a kitchen with all the necessities to prepare a meal. There’s also a grill outside. Everything is working perfectly at the house. The pool, air conditioning, and wi-fi were without any problems. It’s an ideal house if you are traveling as a group, as there are a lot of bathrooms and beds.

We loved our stay in this villa! Christina and her mom Maria were so helpful in every way! They gave us great advice on places to eat and beaches to visit. They were fast to respond to any problems. For example the washing mashing broke and they immediately tried to fix it and replaced it.

Great Villa in cottage style in stunning West crete area

We liked the Villa on the western side of crete very much. The Villa is built in the cottage style, well-tendend and provides a well-feeling ambience. The Villa is placed in the mountain area and is a very good starting point for many great destinations like Elafonisi, Balos and Gramvoussa Island (from Kissamos Port), Fallasarna Beach and Paleochora. Each trip to or from the Villa supplies stunning views into the west crete mountain environment. As we liked the Environment of the Villa very much we decided to stay 2 – 3 lazy days at the pool 😊 The only drawback we can tell is the access road to the property as it is steep, somewhat bad cobbled near the sliding gate but nothing that will detain a real Crete Fan from joining this very nice place. All the best for Maria and Vasilis and thank you very much for the very nice week we had in your villa. 😊

Probably the best villa we have stayed in!

The villa is one of a pair that sit half way up a hill with only rocks and olive trees surrounding them. The villas are designed such that you are not overlooked by each other. The villa is large enough for a family of 4/5. It is a beautiful design with stunning exposed traditional stonework walls and a huge vaulted timber ceiling. The air con is integral to the building and is excellent. The villa is immaculately kept and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. However, with so many high quality and affordable restaurants nearby we did not doMuch cooking! The host provided some basics in the fridge and some amazing home cooked traditional Cretan dishes during the week. These were gorgeous and enjoyed heartily by my family. The pool was exceptional. Super clean, a good size and deep at 1.8m. The outdoor shower was fantastic and really useful to have. Behind the villa were paths that led to the top of the hill and beyond. They gave me a good afternoon work out! The drive is steep but easily mastered with a bit of practise. The hosts could not have been more helpful and made everything about the stay really enjoyable. Stella’s recommendations for restaurants and other places to visit were spot on and we sampled some of the best holiday food ever! All in local, family owned businesses. We strongly recommend this villa and the area of fallasarna to anyone who, like us, has teenage children, a love of great food and great beaches, and who like their own space.

We had a wonderful time; the house was gorgeous. We had a beautiful view and the accommodations could not have been better. There were many excellent restaurants with a very short driving distance on the beaches. It was lovely! Our host left us homemade treats and could not have been kinder! A fabulous vacation!

Pure relaxation

We had deliberately chosen the Faraslla Villa because we wanted to explore the north-west coast of Crete. We were very friendly welcomed by our host, even though our arrival was only at night. We also received delicious specialties. The house is located not far from Kissamos on a hill, Efalonissi Beach and Balos Beach are within easy reach. The Fasalla Beach is also very close and should be visited. The house has been cleaned 2 times a week and is equipped with every comfort. For colder days there is a sauna and of course a fireplace available. We would like to thank Maria and Vasillis for their hospitality and we can recommend the accommodation without reservation.

Ein herrliches Haus abseits des Trubels

Das Haus ist ein wunderbarer Rückzugsort nach Strand und Ausflügen, mit einem riesigen und immer sauberen Pool, gemütlicher, windgeschützter Terrasse, traumhaftem Blick zum Meer und in die Berge und immerwährender Ruhe. Das Haus ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man im Urlaub braucht. Das Reinigen zweimal die Woche hat den Luxus perfekt gemacht. Der Vermieter hat tolle Restaurant-Tipps in der Umgebung für uns gehabt - eines war besser als das andere und ohne ihn kaum zu finden, daher auch kaum touristisch. Vielen Dank für die fantastische Zeit!
