A beautiful traditional house in the village of Elounda. Our house is located in the mountains of Elounda 5 minutes by car and 20 minutes by foot which offers peace and quiet for all travellers. It has a wonderful view of the village and the Elounda Gulf. There is a garden from which you can cut fresh vegetables.A private PARKING for your car with closing gate.The house has a bedroom with a double bed and one single bed, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, fireplace, 2 airconditioners, one dining room and another connecting room with 2 single beds.Outside there is a dining area with BBQ, and a wood oven.The price includes the use of airco, heating, midweek clean, change of bedlinnen (1 x per week) and towels (2 x per week), end clean, electricity, water and taxes. The house offers winter and summer accommodation..

Home from home with sun and sea.

A beautiful house, tratditional style with stunning views of beautiful sea. Near the lovely port of Elounda but very quiet. Lovely garden with vegetables which can be eaten by people staying. a peaceful, tranquil retreat, a good therapy for everyone.

A great place in Elounda

This house is located out of Elounda ( about 2 km) . A car is highly suggested to reach all the magnificent surrounding areas and restaurants . The house has a wonderful view on the sea and the village of Elounda, very calm and relaxing. Jannis the hosts runs a nice taverna in a village nearby and he is very helpful in satisfying all your needs.Higly recommended!

A gem in the mountains

Lovely gated mini villa overlooking olive orchards and the village of Elounda. Nice layout with plenty of living area indoors and out. However a bit crowded with second twin bed and crib in master bedroom. Had all the amenities needed to prepare meals. Giannis extra attention made our stay enjoyable.

Charming villa on Hill overlooking Elounda Bay

Beautiful renovated shepherds cottage on the hill away from the busy little town of Elounda. Quiet and peaceful, Lovely multi-level terrace to enjoy the view. Would recommend a car. Walking to town and beach not difficult, taking about 15-20min. They way back up the hill would be more strenuous. Cottage is well outfitted for your stay and even has gardens with vegetables for your use! Giannis and his family are gracious hosts. They also run a restaurant in nearby Pano Elounda with family atmosphere and amazing food- you will not leave hungry! We hope to come back to Villa Panagia again!

Netter Vermieter, schöne Aussicht auf die Insel Spinalonga und Elounda. Guter Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Abenteuerlich steile Zufahrt durch ein automatisches Schiebetor. Beleuchtung des Grundstückes in der gesamten Nacht. Die Ausstattung ist für längere Aufenthalte spartanisch (betrifft besonders die Küche). Eine Produktionsanlage (24h, auch Sonntags) liegt in der Nähe und wird regelmäßig von Lieferfahrzeugen angefahren.

A lovely remote and quiet villa

The villa is situated about 400ft above Elounda and has a spectacular view of the town and the bay. It is in a quiet location, only disturbed by the sheep bells and bleating. The owner speaks good English and is more than helpful.

Location très sympa avec une vue époustouflante sur la baie d Elounda. Maison Cretoise idéale pour 2, avec ou sans enfants. A 5 minutes de la plage, au milieu des oliviers et des cigales.. Belle terrasse avec de l ombre pour pouvoir manger, matin midi et soir. Beau jardin avec des petites attentions du propriétaire. Cadre très agréable, nous recommandons. En plus la ville est sympa, l eau est très chaude, et il y a des parkings gratuits, que demander de plus ?

Lovely house with stunning view

We spent a great week in this beautiful holiday home. The owners were very nice and hospitable. Thank you for that. The house was very clean and looked after. It is amazingly situated in the middle of an olive grove. Nevertheless, you’re quickly back to civilization with great restaurants, shops in the surrounding villages and the beach, too. When we arrived, a welcome “package” was provided so we could enjoy the first evening in the house, without having to leave for groceries on the first day. The house, terrace and the garden area have plenty of cosy seats and a really stunning view across the bay. We can only warmly recommend this holiday home. Thank you, Giannis & family for a perfect stay.

Wonderful stone house in beautiful Elounda

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this idyllic place which has to be seen to be believed. Villa Panagia is situated in a truly beautiful location and has the most stunning views of Elounda. Decorated to the highest standard, very clean and well maintained and the owner is always approachable and helpful. A short 10 minutes walk brings you in to the port of Elounda which is rightly called "the jewel of the island". The gardens of the villa are full of the tastiest fruit and vegetables which are available for your own personal use. The name of the villa is taken from the old church which is only 50 metres from the premises. We had a stress free time here and we can thoroughly recommend it to everyone.

Amazing, peaceful holiday retreat..

I stayed here with my family for a weeks stay not knowing what to expect, but WOW! The newly refurbished stone house was perfect in the peaceful village of pano elounda. Easy to reach the resort of Elounda but far enough away to enjoy village life. Beautiful views, spacious, fully equipped. We are looking forward to return soon to our cretan holiday home.

We are Yannis and Maria Apalakis , a young couple from Pano Elounda, the old village a few minutes up the hill from the property. We have one son, 4 years old. We run our family traditional taverna in Pano Elounda , where we welcome all our guests, with special discount!
We have retsored this small shepherds house in to a comfortable holiday home and we love living in this area.

Why they chose this property

This house is very special because , although it very close to Elounda with it' s restaurants , beaches and bars, it is totally quiet,surrounded by olive trees and beautiful mountains. It has it's own vegetable garden, you are free to use the vegetables in your cooking!
