A home away from home

The home is nicer than it appears on-line. It is very warm and idiosyncratic. The location is perfect….close to everything but quiet, with a lovely garden and sea views. Luca was lovely and very responsive. I hope to return soon.

Schöne Lage und großzügige Terrasse

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus im Äolischen Stil und Blick auf den Garten und das Meer. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Eine Anmerkung: Es wäre ganz erheblich komfortabler, wenn das große Rattan-Sofa auf der Terrasse mit entsprechenden Postern ausgestattet wäre und ein dazu passender Sessel wäre auch nicht schlecht.

Nous avons passé à 3 une semaine parfaite dans la maison. A la fois au centre de Santa Marina et au calme dans un beau jardin d'agrumes, elle est juste parfaite!

La posizione della casa con vista sul mare è circondata da giardini e frutteti e dista pochi metri dal centro del paese e dai negozi primari. Confortevole e accogliente con attrezzature essenziali e funzionanti, la casa,essendoci state giornate di maltempo, ha avuto un ruolo importante durante il breve soggiorno. Dal piccolo terrazzo superiore abbiamo goduto di fantastici fenomeni naturali in cui il cielo e il mare si fondevano e giochi di luce scontornavano le isole di Lipari, Panarea e Stromboli. Abbiamo avuto il permesso di raccogliere dagli alberi del giardino, arance, limoni e pompelmi con cui abbiamo fatto delle salutari e buonissime spremute. Ricorderemo a lungo questo soggiorno.

"splendida villa, immersa nel verde e con una vista mozzafiato sul mare e sulle isole di Panarea e Stromboli!! Impossibile dimenticare i pomeriggi in terrazzo ed in veranda in completo relax, nella tranquillità assoluta, pur trovandoci a pochi passi dalla piazzetta del centro con mille negozietti caratteristici! Proprietari eccezionali, molto attenti alle esigenze deli ospiti, come si nota dalla cura nell''arredo di ogni dettaglio della casa. Un soggiorno indimenticabile, una vacanza da ripetere!"

Why they chose this property

This is not the usual house for rent, this is our family house in Salina which the entire family enjoys 3-4 time a year and treasures since decades. Hence it has a lot of charm which makes you feel straight at home. It is fairly simple in its style as grandfather believed it should match the islands culture and vibe.
