About this property

Charming all comfort Gite in the park of the Loire Valley château

The livable surface of the lodging of 150 m² makes it possible to receive 10 people very comfortably.
Our guests will be able to enjoy the beautiful 111 acre grounds containing trees which are hundreds of years old. Nature lovers, provided that they are absolutely quiet, will be able to observe the wildlife (wild boars, roe deer, stags, foxes, badgers, squirrels, birds of prey...)
Nature trail enthusiasts will not be disappointed with their stay at Ternay; the site is reputed for its flora (mainly wild orchids and different mushrooms and fungi, depending on the season and favourable climate conditions).
For the sporty a table tennis table at your disposal.
There are other activities nearby.
We also provide board games and pétanque bowls.

The house is all on one level.

- a kitchen equipped. (Gazinière, refrigerating freezer, lava crockery, coffee machine....). You also have at your disposal a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Superbe week-end entre amis

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end de Pâques à 3 familles. Le gîte est très agréable, bien équipé, nous avons bien profité de la cheminée et du barbecue. Nous avons pu bénéficier du très grand parc, les enfants s'en sont donnés à cœur joie. Merci à l hôte pour la visite du château, très impressionnant. Je recommande vivement.

décevant Leider müssen wir uns dem Bericht von Kala J. anschließen (25.08.2020). Das Haus war nur mittelmäßig sauber, sehr viele Spinnweben in allen Ecken, muffig-feuchter Geruch beim Eintreten in das Haus, schimmlige Raumdecke im Duschbad, das große Badezimmer auch etwas schmuddelig. Die sonstige Einrichtung war ok, aber auch nicht unbedingt luxuriös im Verhältnis zum Wochenpreis. Das Internet funktionierte die ganze Woche nicht und da dies vor 1 Jahr bei der Familie Kala J. genauso war, ist zu mutmaßen, dass es eigentlich noch nie funktioniert hat. Wir haben das beim Vermieter auf englisch reklamiert, dieser hat wohlwissend, dass wir ihm auf Französisch nicht ausreichend folgen können und er ausreichend Englisch spricht, komplett auf französisch geantwortet. Da kommt man sich leider verarscht vor. Geändert hat es nichts. Unfortunately, we have to endorse Kala J.'s report (August 25, 2020). The house was only mediocre clean, a lot of cobwebs in all corners, musty and damp smell when entering the house, moldy ceiling in the shower room, the large bathroom also a bit dirty. The rest of the furnishings were ok, but not necessarily luxurious in relation to the weekly price. The Internet did not work the whole week and since it was the same with the Kala J. family 1 year ago, it can be assumed that it has actually never worked. We complained about this to the landlord in English, who, knowing full well that we could not follow him sufficiently in French and he speaks sufficient English, answered completely in French. Unfortunately, you feel like you're being ripped off. It didn't change anything. Malheureusement, nous devons approuver le rapport de Kala J. (25 août 2020). La maison n'était que médiocrement propre, beaucoup de toiles d'araignées dans tous les coins, odeur de moisi et d'humidité en entrant dans la maison, plafond moisi dans la salle de douche, la grande salle de bain également un peu sale. Le reste du mobilier était correct, mais pas nécessairement luxueux par rapport au prix hebdomadaire. Internet n'a pas fonctionné toute la semaine et comme c'était la même chose avec la famille Kala J. il y a 1 an, on peut supposer qu'il n'a en fait jamais fonctionné. Nous nous sommes plaints de cela au propriétaire en anglais, qui, sachant très bien que nous ne pouvions pas le suivre suffisamment en français. Malheureusement, vous avez l'impression de vous faire arnaquer, cela n'a rien changé.

Verblijf Ternay

We waren daar met mijn gezin (man en 3 kinderen). Het huis is mooi, maar vonden dat het netter schoongemaakt moet worden. Veel spinnenwebben in het huis toen we de sleutel kregen. Hebben huis zelf moeten schoonmaken om de spinnenwebben zoveel mogelijk weg te krijgen. Het huis is mooi en inrichting is comfortabel. Veel last gehad van muggen. En hierdoor kun je geen ramen openzetten in de nacht. Het plaatsen van horren voor de ramen zou een oplossing zijn. Dit maakte ons verblijf wat minder aangenaam omdat we door de muggen niet goed konden slapen. Uiteindelijk muggenspray aangeschaft. Horren zouden beter zijn. Gastheer en gastvrouw zeer vriendelijke mensen. Internet deed het niet. Probleem werd maar niet verholpen. Ben geen hondenliefhebber, maar kinderen hebben genoten van de honden van het kasteel. Veel ruimte om te wandelen. Beter zou ook zijn om wat meer loungestoelen te plaatsen. Wij hadden onze hangmatten mee. Voor de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding hadden we wat meer luxe verwacht. Voor de rest was het goed.

nous recherchions de l'authentique côté campagne et nous avons trouvé une ferme dans son jus. l'emplacement sur la propriété du château est superbe. l'acceuil et la visite du château de famille du 15eme siècle par son propriétaire était un grand moment. on y retournera surement

Très bon séjour dans "La Maison d'Embas" en famille, le gîte est impeccable et charmant (dont ce grand séjour avec feu de cheminée en cette fin d'année). Le lieu est très agréable (grand parc), beau et riche en activités tout autour. Mr De Ternay est très disponible, très à l'écoute et la visite du château est somptueuse.

Accueil du propriétaire très convivial ; le gite, ancienne ferme du château, est très confortable et authentique, au milieu d’un espace vert très étendu, tout cela dans le parc du château que nous avons pu visiter sous la conduite du propriétaire, une visite non seulement très documentée mais animée et vivante d’anecdotes. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce lieu champêtre et inscrit dans l’histoire de France

Très agréable séjour!

Nous avons loué ce gîte en famille pour fêter Noël et nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison est très agréable à vivre et idéal pour plusieurs familles. Nous avons eu bien chaud et pu passer de bons moments autour du feu de cheminée. La maison était chauffée à notre arrivée ce qui n'est pas négligeable à cette saison. Nos hôtes nous ont très bien accueillis et sont très sympathiques. Nous reviendrons à une autre période pour visiter le château... Nous avons par contre profité du bois pour de belles balades. Le gîte ainsi que son environnement sont vraiment parfaits.

Nous avons passé un excellent weekend en famille dans ce gîte très confortable , spacieux et bien aménagé. Nous avons apprécié le cadre , le grand parc et bien sûr le château dont la visite a été très intéressante.Nous avons passé de très bons moments au coin du feu de la grande cheminée.

Séjour familial super sympha dans un cadre magnifique!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre location. La maison est très symphatique en vieilles pierres avec une grande cheminée que nous avons utilisée. Dehors il y a beaucoup d'espace pour les enfants qui ont aussi bien aimé la visite des trois chiens et le mouton. Le château que nous avons pu admirer de l'extérieur est magnifique! Une location à conseiller sans hésitation!

Un moment d'évasion

WE entre amis dans ce joli gîte. Le cadre est extra, la maison est dans un corps de ferme qui ajoute du charme au sein du parc du château. Ballade libre dans cet environnement idyllique. Grande pièce de vie avec le plaisir d'un feu de cheminée. Et que dire de l'accueil de Loïc. Il nous fait revivre la grande épopée du chevalier Bertran de Beauvau lors d'une visite du château à l'architecture admirable et au mobilier époustouflant (ah cette table à toupie !). Bref nous avons passé un très bon WE.
