Are you looking for a nice villa for rent in Provence? This is Villa Helios, charming property in the heart of Luberon: mirror pool (11x6 m), noble materials as terracotta on the ground, nice old wooden roof frame, earthenware from Salerne in the bathrooms, stone from Bourgogne all around the pool. You will also find all the comfort you want for nice holiday: 70-sq.m master bedroom with tadelackt bathtub/basin, large teak dressing room, fireplace area, everything opens onto the pool and the garden for swimming area. On the first floor: 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, carefully decorated. For meals, you will find a large equipped kitchen, with fireplace/barbecue, opening onto the garden and the pool, with tables, chairs and, of course, the necessary sun umbrellas for summer. A large living room and dining room with a freestone fireplace, opens onto a pool and the property will complete the equipment of this villa (flat screen TV, a Hi-Fi stereo system, leather sofa set). The infinity swimming pool and the summer garden with a large teck Balinese bath will be an invitation for the nap or farniente. The summer sitting area will allow you to dine or brunch by the pool, but you can also choose to brunch on the garden side, under the shade of the pergola, and make a boules game... An absolute dream

We arrived with mountain bikes and the goal of exploring the areas via the bikes. This home is located in an area that accommodates exploring the beautiful landscapes with the bikes. The home is a dream - very comfortable, quiet and spacious. We enjoyed all the various sitting areas both outside and inside. For those who enjoy cooking together- like us, the kitchen is the heart of the home. We spent a lot of time around the table prepping and cooking together. We loved the home, the area and all the experiences. We made happy memories here! Thank you Pascale!

Really an amazing place

This is a wonderful property, with great space and a fantastic pool area. We had a relaxing and fun time as a family, on the warm sunny days and also on the few days when it rained. The master bedroom is h-u-g-e, with an almost outdoor shower. (Very similar to one we enjoyed in Bali many years ago, and the place is filled with art, furniture, and objects that enhance that feeling.) Rest of the rooms, as described and with good views. Really a lovely venue, one that I will think of fondly. However, a few small things to be aware of: 1) The owner / manager seemed to take more of a legal approach to the relationship than of a welcoming host. The "welcome pack" seemed to consist of a long list in French of what we would be fined for, rather than the "here's a few things nearby you might be interested in" that we've experienced elsewhere. And, once we had agreed the stay through VRBO (and paid the deposit) we were presented with a separate contract, which was also a bit of a surprise. 2) There were a few small issues with the lighting around the pool, which the owner / manager did organise to send someone to deal with - but they went out the next day. 3) It was a bit difficult to find when we first got there. There isn't any obvious sign and we had to ask a helpful neighbour where it was. 4) There really are a lot of mosquitos. A lot. Finally, though not an issue for us, as we were 6, though the property can sleep 9, almost all the seating areas are for 6.

Domaine fabuleux au cœur du Lubéron

Dans un hameau typique , au cœur du massif du Luberon, entouré des champs de lavandin et des petits villages de pierres perchés sur les collines , nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. Cette ancienne distillerie de lavande a été restaurée par nos hôtes en une luxueuse propriété . Rien n'a été laissé au hasard , décoration , agencement , propreté , accueil , discrétion (merci à Gilles pour ses interventions aussi efficaces que discrètes pour la gestion de la piscine ! ) . Nous avions du mal à quitter les lieux afin de découvrir cette région même si nous avions peu de kilomètres à parcourir ! Un grand merci à nos hôtes nous avoir fait partager un tel lieu.

Beeindruckend schön

Wir haben einen wunderschönen und traumhaften Urlaub mit Familie und Freunden erlebt. Die Gastgeberin war toll und ihr Haus ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Jeden Tag haben wir etwas neues und schönes entdeckt. Ihre Mitarbeiter waren vom Empfang durch Halima bis zum Pool- und Hausmeister Gil sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Hausmeister haben wir als sehr kompetent und äußerst sympathisch empfunden. Der Pool war immer gereinigt und als Spiegelpool ein Traum. Die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten haben uns ( 8 Personen) viel Raum gegeben und gleichzeitig viel Nähe, wenn wir sie wollten. Die Unterkunft ist mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit für alle Bedürfnisse bestens ausgestattet und unvergleichbar schön!

Excellent place!!!

Stayed a week at the house. We were 2 families with children - 9 people in all. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Absolut highlight is the big pool, with relaxing area and plenty of sunbeds and space for 9 people. Also the big garden was a hit for boule, tabeltennis and games. Arrival and departure and all communication was easy and friendly - very good service!! Would definitely recommend and would like to come back another time.

Great value

My family had a lovely 2 week stay at this property near Rustrel in East Luberon. The highlights for us were first the master Bedroom, which was the largest room we have ever stayed in, was beautifully done and included a shower in the bedroom. Second, the pool was large and enveloped by the house, which all worked extremely well. Plenty of lovely places to chill, eat and also play boules and table tennis. The kitchen was decently equipped and had a good sized lounge. The negatives were that the area immediately around the house is not as rich in places to visit compared with central and more westerly Luberon areas where we have stayed. Further, we would suggest to the owners that it would be a great help if they could provide information about the area/domestic appliances, and indeed have some sort of welcome pack which from our experience is common elsewhere and very welcome after a long arduous trip. We would also suggest that there might be a change of bedding/cleaning during a fortnight stay. However, these are minor gripes and overall the fortnight went extremely well- the house is good value.

"MERVEILLEUX!!!!! Les vrais vacances de rêve, un cadre idyllique au calme et dans la nature. Une maison fonctionnelle, sublime, une décoration superbe, une piscine géniale, un extérieur paradisiaque avec un terrain de boules!!!! Et pour ne rien gâcher au séjour, les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils. Je vous la conseille et je compte bien y retourner chaque année car on s'y sent comme chez soi avec le stress et les ennuis en moins."
