Parfait !

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans cette chambre d’hôtes. Une chambre très bien équipée à tous niveaux. Spacieuse, propre, confortable. Le temps étant un peu frais, nous avons pu prendre notre petit-déjeuner, copieux, à l’intérieur. Nos hôtes sont charmants et très accueillants.Ils nous ont donné plein de très bons conseils pour nos excursions. Tout en étant présents pour répondre à nos attentes, ils ont su rester discrets et pas envahissants. En conclusion chambre d’hôtes à recommander. Merci Anne-Marie et Bernard.

pleasant property in Nice

This property had a comfortable bed, and was clean and safe. The breakfasts provided by Bernard and Anne-Marie were quite pleasant. They were helpful in providing advice about how to get to various tourist sites in the area. The place was a bit tricky to find, but with a GPS it is not really a problem. I would stay here again.

Perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at LA CHAMBRE D'HÔTE. The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained and provided everything we needed. It was beautiful inside and out. The rooms were spacious with a super bed and shower. The garden was lovely, with a hidden seating area, beneath trees, providing shade when required. The chairs, tables and sunloungers provided were clean and well looked after. The pool was stunning and beautifully warm and big enough for those wishing to use it for exercise. It was lovely to see the sea from the garden. Our hosts were delightful providing helpful information when required, but never imposing on us. At our invitation, we enjoyed 2 evenings with them sharing drinks and chatter and learning more about the area and the local transport. The breakfast they provided was divine. Everything is laid out on the terrace and included Yoghurts, Juice, Coffee, Croissants, Fresh Bread, Butter, Jams and sometimes Melon, Parma Ham or Cheese. Anne-Marie and Bernard took huge delight in pleasing us and taking that extra bit of care with everything. We had a Hire Car from the airport, but it is possible to reach the property via tram and bus from the airport. The no. 34 bus stops right outside the house and takes you to the seafront, from where buses and trams can take you wherever you wish to go. We walked into Old Nice, again accessible via public transport and enjoyed the market, shops and restaurants. I cannot praise this venue highly enough.

Entspannter Urlaub

Die Anreise war unproblematisch, die Unterkunft war einfach zu finden. Das Anwesen und die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber gehalten. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. Die Reise konnten wir aus krankheitsbedingten Umständen in der Familie später anreisen. Wir durften anschließend 1 Nacht länger in der Unterkunft übernachten ohne einen Aufpreis zu leisten. Die Vermieter sind sehr Herzlich man hatte sich die ganze Zeit über sehr Willkommen gefühlt . Es gab jeden Morgen ein sehr leckeres Frühstück,was sehr nett angerichtet war . Ein sehr sauberer Pool wo man sich richtig schön entspannen konnte . Es wurde an alles gedacht, man hatte gekühlte Getränke in der Unterkunft, Bernard hatte auch Karten mit Reiserouten für die Sehenswürdigkeiten und auch Routen für Restaurants bereit gelegt ,WLan ist auch Vorhanden gewesen . Handtücher und sogar alles was man zum duschen brauch war Vorhanden . Würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft buchen ,das war einer der schönsten Urlaube . Oasis on the hill

This was an excellent property with wonderful hosts. It was a beautiful guest room on the side of the main house, but you have privacy to yourself, with bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. The pool is wonderful, and the hosts gave an excellent fresh breakfast each morning to eat on the pool side deck. Easy find and location, would totally recommend this place. You will want a car however as it is up a winding hill that would be difficult to visit other places without a car.

Hospitable and engaging Hosts

Our hosts were impeccable, the breakfast of fresh breads, pastries, jams, eggs served at our time of choice poolside was a delightful way to start the day. A short easy to navigate drive to the Promenade and Old Town made sightseeing a breeze. My husband a cyclist found Bernard also an avid cyclist who willingly took him for a scenic journey above Monaco and Menton for which we are very grateful. We will 100% return to stay here and recommend to all our family, friends and travellers.

the hosts were friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Comfortable bed. There were many tiled steps around the property and 2 steps to the kitchen/bathroom. We are both in our late 70's and my wife has mobility problems and struggled. Lovely breakfasts. No near-by bars or shops so a car essential. No tv or radio. Lovely swimming pool and garden. Not suitable for wheelchairs or people with walking difficulties.

Une semaine de rêve

Nous sommes tellement chanceux d’avoir trouvé cet endroit si bien tenu par un couple charmant et avenant. Un bon petit déjeuner est fourni. Nous aurions dû apporter nos maillots de bain! La route pour s’y rendre est en lacet parfois en épingle à cheveux sinon tout était parfait.

Perfekte Unterkunft

Meine Eltern haben die Unterkunft sehr genossen, vor allem den Pool. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und immer gut bei Fragen, und vor allem schnell, zu erreichen. Besonders angenehm und einfach machte es ihnen, dass Bernhard auch Deutsch spricht. Vielen Dank! Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay here! The house and garden with pool are very idyllic and beautiful. The neighbourhood is very quiet and relaxing. The hosts are the sweetest couple who really took their time to ask what we were planning to do and ask what we did on the day. The breakfast every morning was served by the poolside and was very good.

sehr schöne, private Unterkunft mit eigenem pool und dem süßestem frühstück was wir jemals hatten(selbst gemacht und mit herz angerichtet). grundsätzlich alles sehr persönlich, man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und wohl. sehr schön zum Runterkommen und entspannen, perfekte Lage an der coted Azur für Ausflüge rundherum. Die Eigentümer, welche im gleichen Gebäude wohnen, sind besonders offen, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Klare Empfehlung. Komme gerne wieder für einen längeren Zeitraum und mit Auto ;)

Wundervolle Unterkunft

Unser Aufenthalt in Nizza war wirklich toll, das Konzert mit Mylene Farmer in der Allianz-Riveria ebenfalls. Aber perfekt war er eben erst mit unserer Unterkunft bei Anne-Marie und Bernard, etwas abseits von der Innenstadt in den Bergen gelegen, mit einer schönen Aussicht auf das Meer, mit einem typisch französischen, reichhaltigen Frühstück zu Beginn eines jeden Tags im wunderschönen französischen Mittelmeerambiente. Das Zimmer mit Bad und Möglichkeit sich mit Mikrowelle,Toaster,Wasserkocher sich eine Kleinigkeit zu zubereiten,war völlig ausreichend und gut eingerichtet. Das leckere französische Frühstück haben die Vermieter auf der sehr schönen Terrasse direkt neben dem Pool gerichtet. Super nette Vermieter und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Anfahrt war beim ersten Mal etwas schwierig, da das Navi in den Bergen versagt hat. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.Vielen Dank Bernard und Anne-Marie für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Top of hill over looking Nice and the Mediterranean

We so enjoyed our hosts! They are salt of the earth. Kind and generous. Our place was adorable. It had everything we needed. The pool was such a bonus. Wish we could have stayed longer. There is so much to see in the area. If you are up for an amazing hike take the path along the ocean to Ville Franche. The views fantastic and enjoyed the exercise.
