Maison spacieuse et bien placée

Great house in quiet neighborhood, short walk to town, dinner and ferry to Saint Tropez. Nice outdoor space and views to golfe of St Tropez. Nice and quiet in November.

Große familienfreundliche Unterkunft im Golf von St. Tropez

Das am Rande des Küstenstädtchen Sainte-Maxime gelegene Ferienhaus befindet sich in einer der vielen Villensiedlungen in den Hügeln oberhalb des Meeres. Vom Trubel der Innenstadt und Küstenstraße bleibt man hier verschont. Dennoch sind Strand und Altstadt nur 5 bzw. 15 Min Fußmarsch entfernt. Wie überall entlang der Côte d'Azur finden jedoch auch in St. Maxime fortwährend Bauarbeiten für Neubauten und Renovierungen statt, sodass es zumindest wochentags nie ganz so ruhig ist, wie man es sich dies manchmal im Urlaub wünschte. Das Ferienhaus selbst ist mit allem Wesentlichen ausgestattet. Man merkt der Immobilie und dem Inventar zwar durchaus an, dass es schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Wir haben uns mit unserer vierköpfigen Familie dennoch sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders der Pool hatte es unseren zwei Kindern (7 und 4 Jahre) schnell angetan. Einige Hinweise: - Als Ausländer sollte man wissen, dass Empfang und Abschied durch Haushälterin und Putzfrau ausschließlich auf Französisch stattfinden. - Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind selbst mitzubringen oder bei einer externen Firma auszuleihen (wir können Pressing du Marche in der Altstadt von St. Maxime empfehlen). - Es gibt ein reichhaltiges Programm an deutschen TV-Sendern. - Das WLAN ist vergleichsweise langsam. Auch der Mobilfunkempfang rund ums Haus ist kaum zum Surfen im Internet geeignet. - Die Tordurchfahrt aufs Grundstück entpuppt sich für Nicht-SUVs schnell als Hindernis, an dem man aufsetzen kann.

Moderniesiertes Haus mit viel Platz

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa in Sainte Maxime sehr genossen. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man in einem Ferienhaus benötigt, wobei wir die Küche nicht zum Kochen benutzt haben. Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner funktionen perfekt, der Reinigungsdienst des Pools arbeitet unauffällig und zuverlässig. Leider ist die Einfahrt in das Grundstück mit einem größeren Fahrzeug schwierig. da jederzeit die Gefahr besteht, aufzusitzen. Da die Straße sehr schmal ist, aber trotzdem viel zu schnell gefahren wird, ist ein Parken vor der Tür nicht zu empfehlen. Leider hatten wir während unseres Aufenthalts eine Baustelle in der Nähe, die für ordentlich Lärm gesorgt hat. So wurden es am Ende 4 statt 5 Sterne.
