The apartment is located in the centre of the historical and medioeval village, Loro Ciuffenna. It is in a little square from where you can see (and hear ...) the church's bells. It is little but welcoming, simply furnished, with indipendent entrance and heating; outside a flight of stairs and a little balcony with deck chairs.Under the bedroom's windows there is a little “loggia”.The kitchen has a cooker, an owen, a kettle, a fridge with a freezer and various food processors.The bedroom is big, with liberty furniture; it has a double bed and two armchair bed, so the room accomodates four people. The bathroom has a shower, a bidet, a toilet ,a hair-dryer, a washing machine.The price includes the use of the apartment, the linen for the kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom and the final cleaning. If people stay more than a week, linen will be changed and you can have a price discount. In the same building, with an indipendent entrance and heating, we can rent an apartment with two double bedrooms (rooms accomodate five people); ( See the advertise in Homelidays 300585) room accomodates 9 people.In the little square there is an iron eagle, a very famous sculpture of the village.The garden has two large terraces , in common with the owner. It can be used as a solarium, for lunch and dinner both in winter and summer. Inside there is a little tavern with a cooker, a fridge, wood- stove, and a fire-place. In front of the apartment lives a retired blacksmith called “dio Vulcano” who makes very creatively objects.

Alda was an excellent host. She had a conflict with the small studio we originally ordered, but she upgraded us to the 2 bedroom apartment and honored the original price. The property was as depicted and the parking was big enough for our Cleo rental car. The town is very cute with a good bar/cafe, bakery, small butcher/grocer and several excellent restaurants. We would highly recommend this VRBO in Loro Ciuffenna.

Best Stay Ever!

We loved every aspect of our stay, except leaving. Alda was generous, thoughtful and went out of her way to make us feel like family!! The apartment was clean and had beautiful linens and dishes. The location was superb; within walking distance to everything we wanted. We look forward to returning!

A lovely apartment

The apartment is a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/diner in a lovely location in Loro Ciuffenna. Alda, the property manager is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return again in the future

Beautiful apartment, perfect location and wonderful hostess

This apartment is beautiful and the perfect location to travel around Tuscany. I visited Florence, Chianti, Cortona, Siena and Arezzo from this location. The town is very friendly and picturesque. Loads to Love in Loro Ciuffenna

3 nights in this gorgeous accommodation really left us wanting to stay longer in this medieval village. The review cannot avoid giving our wonderful host, Alda Romoli, top marks for the quality of her accommodation and the level of service she provided. We felt both exclusive and yet part of the immediate community around the apartment. From the complimentary Levazza coffee to the biscotti treats and abundance of homely touches, we arrived as strangers and left as friends. Sensing that experience is available to all her guests. Best host ever

This is supposed to be a super host as we only go to those that are. But this is a super duper host!! Alda is in a category of her own. We have so many great things to say about her. One example, my wife needed to see a doctor. I told Alda, and a few minutes later, we had the doctor knocking on our door!! She made us feel so welcome, helped us with the bags. Gave us lemons from her trees. Thanks Alda, we will miss you!

Wow!!!

What a gem this place is and the town itself. We own a VRBO and I can tell you, Alda puts the work in to make your stay memorable. The suite is impeccable and has everything you need. Beautiful view from the patio, amazing host Alda and the neighbor Robert is a gem too! We didn’t want to leave. The value for what you get is stellar. We were about an hour from montepulciano, Siena, 45 min to Florence. The towns above Loro Cuiffena were a delight to visit, fun windy roads, visited wineries, ate amazing food. Just an all around amazing 4 days. If you want to experience Italy (both tourist and authentic small town Italy). Stay here. It was so clean and well equipped. I wondered if all the reviews would hold true and they did. One warning for non Italian guests…. It’s unit 2 not 11 lol. We didn’t realize it was Roman numerals used haha

Wunderschönenes Loro Ciuffena

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Loro. Unsere kleine Ferienwohnung war warm, ein Umstand, der in den Wintermonaten in alten Steingebäuden eher selten der Fall ist. Unsere reizende Gastgeberin begrüßte uns mit einem Glas Prosecco, zeigte uns die Unterkunft und einen sehr schönen Gartenraum mit Kamin, den wir mit Freunden nutzen konnten, außerdem gibt es noch eine großzügige Terrasse mit einem schönen Blick, in der wärmeren Jahreszeit ein optimaler Platz zum Verweilen. Die flussläufig gelegene Bar Giglio war morgens unser erster Anlaufpunkt für unseren Cappuccino. Es gibt in Loro einen sehr guten Metzger, der auch einen kleinen Gemüseladen nebenan betreibt. Montags findet in Loro ein kleiner Wochenmarkt statt. Für größere Einkäufe empfiehlt sich der Coop in Montevarchi. Die Gegend um Loro ist, wie die gesamte Region Sette Ponti touristisch nicht so überlaufen, es ist aber ein guter Ausgangspunkt für einen Besuch Arezzos, Florenz (von Montevarchi aus mit dem Zug) und des Chiantis. Am Rande von Loro im Ortsteil Gropina befindet sich die Pfarrkirche San Pietro (Pieve di Gropina) eines der schönsten Exemplare romanischen Baustils in der Toskana. Auch sehr sehenswert ist die mitten im Ort befindliche Schlucht, durch die sich die Ciuffena ihren Weg gebahnt hat.

Visita en familia a la Toscana

Nuestra estancia en el apartamento fue muy agradable. Está perfectamente situado en un pueblo bonito, tranquilo y lleno de encanto. Todo estaba muy limpio y equipado con todo lo necesario para hospedarse cómodamente.Destacamos especialmente la sala de la chimenea, que nos pareció acogedora y perfecta para relajarnos. Además, la amabilidad de la anfitriona fue un gran punto a favor, ya que estuvo atenta y dispuesta a ayudarnos en todo momento.Sin duda, un lugar recomendable para disfrutar de una estancia agradable.

Tolle Wohnung

Das Quartier war bestens ausgestattet und hatte alles, was man braucht. Wir haben uns in der Kleinstadt sehr wohl gefühlt und die Wohnung war ein willkommener Ort zum entspannen. Alda ist eine sehr freundliche Vermieterin. Das Gelände bietet Sitzecken, die wir gern am Abend genutzt haben Alda Danke für die tolle Zeit bei dir. Dort kann man Italien pur erleben.

Super sted hvor man bliver taget godt imod:-)

Dejligt ophold. Der var ingen udsigt, men den venligst udlejer man kan forestille sig. Boligen var udsøgt fin, pæn, ren og meget Italiens. Udlejeren talte ikke engelsk men gjorde alt for at kommunikere gennem oversætter, og gjorde alt for at vi skulle have et godt ophold. Byen er skøn, smuk og ægte Italiensk med lille torv i midten. Boligen er central, og der er parkeringsplads siden af. Alt i alt en super fin oplevelse, som vi håber andre også vil benytte sig af. Tak for venligheden til vores udlejer.

Op en top Italiaans

Fijn compact appartement met tuin en extra keuken in buitenverblijf. Eigenaresse is bijzonder gastvrij. Ze stelt alles in het werk om het je naar de zin te maken. Appartement is gesitueerd in het mooie oude centrum van Loro Ciuffenna. Van daaruit zijn er mooie wandelingen en tochten met auto te maken. Wij hebben genoten.

Schicke Wohnung mit riesiger Gemeinschaftsterrasse

Un séjour chaleureux et réconfortant pendant une période difficile...

Nous sommes arrivés à Loro Ciuffenna en même temps que la pandémie de Covid 19, qui était virulente plus au nord de l’italie. Nous avons été accueillis avec un grand professionnalisme, tant pour les possibilités de séjour comme telles, que pour les conditions spéciales qui se sont appliquées graduellement à cause de ce contexte: Alda Romoli et sa famille nous ont informés et outillés de façon à ce que le confinement généralisé se passe agréablement et sans inquiétude, nous a offert la possibilité d’écourter sans frais notre séjour (option que nous avons déclinée parce que nous nous sentions en sécurité) et nous a offerts gracieusement de succulents repas, à plusieurs occasions. Alda est aussi intervenue auprès de notre locateur d’auto afin de faciliter notre retour chez-nous en passant par Rome, car notre itinéraire de vol a dû être modifié par la force des choses. Nous sommes infiniment reconnaissants d’avoir bénéficié de la gentillesse, des informations et des précautions d’Alda, ainsi que des qualités de ce beau village!

Mes amis très chers, oui, c’est vrai, vous êtes arrivés alors que le coronavirus descendait lentement dans le Centre et le Sud de l’Italie. J’étais desolée pour vous, pour vos vacances gâchées et j’ai fait seulement mon devoir: j’ai suivi ce que mon coeur me disait pour rendre votre séjour moins décevant. All you need a perfect Tuscan Holiday

Our perfect break in Loro Ciuffena began with Alda Meeting us outside the appartment. From that moment she took excellent care of us without being intruding. The appartment is extremely clean, has an excellent bathroom and very comfortable bed. The kitchen / diner is small but very well equipped. The highlight of the appartment, however, is the wonderful garden and rooftop terrace with views over the surrounding countryside. Loro Ciuffenna is an extremely picturesque town with an excellent infrastructure and good road connections. Sienna, Cortona, Arezzo and the Chianti region were all within an hours drive. We had a wonderful time in Alda's appartment and would like to thank her once again for her hospitality. My only wish would be for a guest book to pass on pleasent experiences to future guests. The downside of all of these positive reviews is finding a slot for a visit again next year

Einfach wunderbar

Wir sind noch nie mit so viel Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit in einer Ferienunterkunft aufgenommen worden. Unsere Gastgeberin Alda hat die Wohnung mit so viel Umsicht, Liebe und Stil ausgestattet, dass es an nichts fehlte. Wie wurden mit Wein, Obst und Gebäck wie alte Freunde empfangen und während unseres Aufenthaltes mit großer Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft begleitet und unterstützt. Welcher Vermieter fährt schon mit seinen Gästen in die Apotheke um Medikamente gegen Mückenstiche zu besorgen. Alda und ihre Familie haben für immer einen Platz in unserem Herzen, auch weil sie uns getröstet haben , als wir im Urlaub vom Tod einer nahen Verwandten erfuhren. Ihre Anteilnahme war wohltuend und einfühlsam. Überdies ist Loro Ciuffenna ein bezaubernder, malerischer Ort, von dem aus man wunderbare Ausflüge machen kann. Die vielen Stunden in Garten, Wintergarten und auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick auf Kirchturm und die Dächer des mittelalterlichen Ortes sind uns in bleibender Erinnerung. Wir kamen als Gäste und gingen als Freunde. Mille grazie, cara Alda. Und außerdem bist du auch noch eine tolle Köchin!

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche bei einer sehr netten, liebevollen Vermieterin verbracht "vielen Dank Alda!", die Wohnung war sehr sauber und hat eine perfekte Lage für die Besichtigung der 10 schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toscana. Jederzeit immer wieder gerne. Liebe Grüße an Alda und Romoli!

Très bien situé pour les visites

C’est notre troisième visite ici et nous sommes très à l’aise ici. Tout est extrêmement propre, il y a tout ce qu’il faut, même un peu plus. On ne peut pas demander mieux. L’appartement est très petit mais très bien avec une très belle salle de bain.

Loro Cuiffenna ist ein bezaubernder Ort, von dem man viele schöne Ausflüge machen kann.

Die Ferienwohnung bietet alles was man braucht. Die wunderbare Terrasse konnten wir leider viel zu wenig benutzen weil es zu kalt war. Alda hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Wir werden den Urlaub in guter Erinnerung behalten. Danke Alda.

Danke! Es tut mir sehr leid, dass sie bei dem schlechten Wetter den Garten und die Terrasse nicht benutzen konnten. Sie sind ideal zum Frühstücken und zum Sonnen im Frühjahr und Herbst. Leider ist das Wetter auch in Italien zunehmend unvorhersehbarer. Ihr wart wundervolle Gäste, ich hoffe wir sehen uns bei Sonne wieder... Und mit einem Glas Chianti um gemeinsam anzustoßen!

Außergewöhnlich

Alda war sehr gastfreundlich und man kann sie jederzeit um Rat fragen, sie wohnt im gleichen Gebäude. Ich Reise sehr viel und bin auch oft alleine unterwegs, aber gerade daher tut es sehr gut, so herzlich aufgenommen zu werden. Man kann von Loro Ciuffenna aus viele interessante Touren unternehmen. Habe viel von der Toscana kennenlernen dürfen während meines Aufenthaltes in Loro Ciuffenna, und vor allem ausserhalb der Touristenpfade, was mir sehr wichtig war. .
