Mountain Get-Away

Big kids and grandlittles stayed in main cabin. It was homebase for all meals and gatherings. Beautiful setting and house. Hottub was the perfect compliment to cool evenings. Care-takers, Tom and Heidi, were friendly and responsive. No real issues to mention. Wish the motion lights and other outdoor lighting worked better. We were a little nervous outside once it became very dark. It was awesome and scary to hear animals.

Value isn't there

The hosts were awesome and very helpful. The cabin stayed warm but could use a major update and some repairs.

A little of Heaven...

The check in was a little bumpy but was taken of immediately. This little peace of Heaven was accommodating and was suited to our needs. John and Anh were so friendly, informative, and helpful! Our little piece of Heaven was very private, quiet, out of the way on the hill top with a view of mountains when you step out of front door. Visits from local wildlife (deer and rabbits) was hoping for a bear or moose but oh well. LOL! Wildflowers were in full bloom and everywhere! Our week visit for these two south GA girls was fabulous and would love to come and stay again!

Star Meadows retreat

We had a great time! The jacuzzi was wonderful after (or before) our daily hikes and adventures. The log cabin house is beautifully decorated with lots of amenities. There were a couple of things that were disappointing, though. There weren’t enough towels or glasses/coffee cups for our 12 person stay in the house. The cabin up above, which we also rented, was very musty even after leaving the windows open all day, and the couch is filthy. Other than these failings, we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks!!

Magical

We stayed with 4 young children for 5 weeks. It was a magical 5 weeks. Has just what you need and first impressions and vrbo photos don’t do it justice. The children had room to safely roam, far enough from neighbors. The concrete pad looked weird at first but meant they could ride bikes, bounce a basketball and play all sorts of games. Tally lake is just down the road and is a trip advisors top ten thing to do in Whitefish. We could pop down for an hour or a full day of fishing, swimming, and if you have canoe, kayak, paddle board, jet skis etc you can launch them all there. Simply an unforgettable magical summer. Tom and Heidi were great, immediately accomodating to our needs, friendly and a wealth of knowledge of the area.

Simple, everything we needed and more at a great price!

Everything was great, except maybe the key hand off. Need a lock box with a code so that renters can get the key late at night.

Vacation out West

My husband and I enjoyed the remote location of the cabin and the amenities offered. The cabin offered everything we needed on our vacation, bringing out our motorcycles, kayak, bike and fishing poles to the Glacier National Park area. The property managers were extremely kind and helpful making our stay even more pleasant.

Fantastic Getaway!

My wife and I spent a week in this cabin in the early summer, and had a wonderful time. It is extremely quiet, but not too far a drive into the town of Whitefish, and Glacier NP. The cabin sits on a beautiful site up on hillside with gorgeous views to the valley below. There are endless hikes right from the back yard, and the cabin also has really fast wifi and cable TV (fiber-optic line!). Great owner who is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and can provide good restaurant tips if it is your first visit to the area. We are looking forward to our next visit!
