About this property
APARTEMENT "HÔTEL PARTICULIER" 18th (3 / 4 people)
This 70 m2 apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a private mansion from the end of the 18th century, in the protected area, 100m from the historic center and in a semi-pedestrian and quiet street, one-way, where traffic is on a single lane. Ideal for family holidays, it can accommodate 3 to 4 people. It includes a large living room with kitchen area and mezzanine, a 'rest area', well separated from the living area, with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Completely renovated in 2005 and air-conditioned, the apartment is nicely furnished and perfectly equipped (TV, WIFI, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave oven, freezer, washing machine, cot, child chair and cane stroller available). A parking space will be reserved for you and in agreement with the owner, you can enjoy the swimming pool.
When you arrive you will find, prepared by the owner, a collection of tourist, cultural or gastronomic information that will allow you to organize your stay in the best possible way.
Uzès: ducal city since the 12th century is a charming little town with a rich historical past. It was completely restored during the 60s thanks to the Malraux law (on historical monuments) because of the major interest of its architectural and cultural heritage.
Uzès is known throughout the world for its medieval duchy, its old streets and alleys, its squares and monuments.
Many beautiful surprises await you: the typical and very lively markets on Wednesday and Saturday, the flea market on Sunday morning, the guided day and night tours organised by the tourist office, the bars and restaurants on the terrace... Musical nights in July, bullfighting events, the cellars of the wine owners and the wine fair at the beginning of August...
You will have the pleasure of discovering the surroundings, the typical stone villages of the region and yet all different, the walks in the garrigue and the magnificent Pont du Gard with the gorges of the garrigue.
Sports enthusiasts will be happy to discover the tennis courts, the swimming pool, the splendid skateboard area, the long-distance hiking trails, the bike rides or for children the leisure centre.
For a half-day getaway, you can visit Nîmes the Roman city, Avignon the city of the Popes, Alès the mining town with its model mine, walk in another world at the Bambouseraie d'Anduze or simply visit the Haribo factory in Uzès.
A one-day outing will take you to the Camargue and the beaches, the Saintes Marie de la Mer, the Grau du Roi and the Salins du Midi, La Grande Motte with its breathtaking architecture!
You can also go as far as Les Baux de Provence, in the Alpilles massif. This village located on a rocky outcrop is dominated by a vast fortress that is now in ruins. You can visit "La Carrière des Lumières" where each year a different sound and light show is given. You will not resist
