We had an amazing stay here -- the house is really comfortable with so much charm and Jacqueline was the perfect host. The location in Rivedoux was a great base to explore the island. We stayed for 5 days but could have stayed a lot longer -- we hope to be back!

The house with the green shutters

We had a very warm welcome from Mme. Rolland and she explained everything to us. The property was very spacious and the kitchen was large as was the salon. There was an enclosed patio which was a real sun trap. The garden was huge ! Ideal for children. The beds were very comfortable and large. There were three bedrooms in all with double beds. There were two bathrooms and a WC . So all in all a very pleasant break of five days.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus auf der wundervollen Ile-de-Ré. Das Haus war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet (sehr gute Matratzen, eine gemütliche Küche und angenehme Möbel im Wohnzimmer) und hat auch außen viele Bereiche, wo man such zu jeder Tageszeit aufhalten kann.Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat uns herzlich empfangen.Die Insel ist sehr abwechslungsreich und bietet viel; v.a. auch die Möglichkeit zur Entschleunigung (wir waren in der Nachsaison da).

Es hat alles gut geklappt, außer, daß ich für 3 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder (11, 8 u. 6 Jahre) gebucht habe und im Haus nur 5 Betten waren! Ein Kind mußte auf einer sehr weichen Ma tratze auf dem Boden schlafen, was nicht gut war, da ich ja für 6 Betten bezahlt habe! Ist mir bei Booking.comm noch n nie passiert

Mme ROLLAND, la propriétaire de ce logement est charmante. Elle a été très arrangeante pour les horaires de notre départ car malheureusement, mon ami a été très malade (zona) et a eu des perfusions de cortisone au AIRBNB. Une île merveilleuse

Superbes vacances et 1ere vacances pour notre fils de 2 ans et demi. Nous avons séjourné dans une maison typique de l’île de Ré où nous avons été accueillis par Mme ROLLAND. Cette dame a été au petit soin pour nous, sa maison était magnifique. Nous reviendrons ça c’est sur. Merci à Mme ROLLAND pour sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et son amabilité. A bientôt. La maison est très charmante avec un jardin immense. Nous avons su profiter d'y jouer avec notre fils de 20 mois qui adore jouer au foot ainsi qu'explorer les coins différents. La proprété est convenablement équippée avec tout ce qu'il faut (lave-vaisselle, machine à laver, four, etc.) La propriétaire est très chaleureusse, répond rapidement aux questions et donne des bonnes recommandations.

BELLE LOCATION

Nous sommes ravis de notre passage dans cette grande maison avec jardin à proximité immédiate de la mer, et restaurant. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de la propriétaire, nous n'avions plus qu'à allumer le feu dans la cheminée. Aucune difficulté pour se garer, aucun problème de connexion WIFI et nos deux animaux ont été très bien accueilli également Nous reviendrons certainement. Merci

Französisches Flair.

Es war unser zweiter Aufenthalt in diesem Haus. Wir schätzen die gediegene französische Einrichtung und Ausstattung. Der große abgeschlossene Garten, in dem unser Hund vollkommen frei umherlaufen konnte. Dazu die Lage, Nähe zum Strand. Unmittelbar angrenzendes großes Waldgebiet in dem man stundenlang wandern konnte.

Schönes Haus mit Mängeln

Das großzügig geschnittene, sehr schöne Haus befindet sich an einer der verkehrsreichen Straßen, die über die Insel führen, inmitten eines großen Gartens, den wir sehr genossen haben. Der Empfang der Vermieterin war herzlich und sie hat uns bereits im Vorfeld gute Tipps gegeben, etwa was das Leihen von Fahrrädern betrifft. Die zentrale Lage des Hauses in Rivedoux-Plage in der Nähe mehrerer Restaurants, der Bushaltestelle und mehrerer fußläufig erreichbarer Strände hat uns sehr gefallen, hatte aber auch Nachteile: So war bei unserem Aufenthalt von Mitte Juli bis Ende der ersten Augustwoche Fernsehen oder Musikhören nur bei komplett geschlossenen Fenstern möglich, da Tag und Nacht spätestens alle zehn Sekunden (wir haben gemessen!) ein Auto oder Motorrad vorbeifuhr. Es war sehr laut im vorderen Teil des Gartens und im Wohnzimmer und wir haben die ersten Nächte nicht besonders gut geschlafen. Die Ausstattung war ausreichend, wir hatten genügend Geschirr und Besteck zur Verfügung. Allerdings waren die Schubladen und Schränke inkl. Speisekammer mit sehr viel altem Küchengerät mehr als gut gefüllt, so dass wir unsere Einkäufe außer im Kühlschrank nur auf Arbeitsflächen oder dem Tisch lagern konnten. Wir lebten gezwungenermaßen in dauernder Unordnung, was störend war. Das Innere der Küchenschränke und die elektrische Herdplatte waren nicht richtig sauber, ebenso wie Wischmop und -lappen. Im Wohnzimmer waren entweder Schubladen und Schränke voll oder verschlossen. Unser Schlafzimmer hatte zwei Schränke, von denen der eine ebenfalls verschlossen und der anderen mit Dutzenden von Kochzeitschriften und -büchern sowie Mobiliar für Kinder und den Garten gefüllt war. Bevor wir auspacken konnten, mussten wir folglich erst einmal Platz schaffen. Der Bezug eines Kopfkissens hatte Stockflecken, was eigentlich beim Beziehen hätte auffallen müssen. Und nein, wir haben nicht gleich die Vermieterin angerufen, denn wir waren erschöpft, wollten Urlaub haben, keine Termine machen, für uns fremde Leute empfangen und Erklärungen liefern. Die zwei Badezimmer waren grundsätzlich praktisch, allerdings gibt es nur eine einzige Toilette. Unangenehm waren die Duschvorhänge, die sofort am Körper klebten und doch das Austreten des Wassers beim Duschen nicht richtig verhinderten. Das Objekt hat viele gute Seiten, so dass wir uns gut vorstellen können, es noch einmal zu mieten, allerdings war in Anbetracht der Nachteile der Preis von rund 200 Euro pro Nacht zu hoch.

Je suis très surprise et peinée de votre appréciation si sévère. Il est vrai que la rue est passagère au mois d'août, tout va changé l'année prochaine, une piste cyclable est prévue ainsi que des ralentisseurs. Quant aux rideaux de douche, ils sont mentionnés sur les photos et les hôtes précédents ne se sont jamais plaints. Vous me disiez dans un message que le séjour vous avait beaucoup plu, je constate par votre note que ce n'est pas vraiment le cas, j'en suis désolée mais je pense que les photos reflètent exactement la location.

Einfach nur wunderschön!

Für einen Urlaub auf der Île de Ré genau das richtige Haus im richtigen Ort! Der Empfang durch Jacqueline war sehr herzlich, so dass wir uns gleich sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Das Haus ist schön groß, so dass sowohl wir, als auch unsere 16-jährige Tochter unsere Bereiche zum Wohlfühlen hatten. Die Zimmer schön groß, mit ausreichend Stauraum, die Küche ausgestattet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Sehr schön waren die beiden Terrassen, so dass man zu jeder Tageszeit den passenden Platz hatte, um das Leben zu geniessen. Das Haus liegt genau zwischen den, aus unserer Sicht, schönsten Orten, La Flotte und Rivedoux-Plage und selbst Saint-Martin-de-Ré und La Rochelle lassen sich von hier mit dem Rad gut erreichen.
