Rude owner, would not stay again.
We are a family that travels quite a bit. We have rented via VRBO before but only in the US and never had an issue before, hence were unaware how difficult it is to contact VRBO when an issue arises.
We arrived to the house late which we had discussed w the owner and he agreed it would be fine (previous review had noted he was difficult bc of late arrival so we made sure to clear that hurdle up front). We could not get the wifi to work for the first 24 hours (the wrong code was provided) and the owner basically called us stupid. There was no hot water for the first 36 hours (traveling w 3 children and 85 degrees outside) and when we asked about it he first angrily said the reason for no hot water was because we already used 250 liters! Then he replied "I don't speak english..." verbatim. When we insisted he help us, he sent us photos of where the switch to turn in the water is, and when we discovered the outlets a piece of tape was trying to hold up the switch, indicating this was a recurrent issue. Later in the week he came by w a plumber and took the opportunity to threaten us w extra charges if we didn't take the trash out (it was not explained to us by the greeting person how this works).
The house itself is dated. Ac in 2 of 3 bedrooms as advertised, but the third room is not cool, you need ac even in June to sleep comfortably. 2 of 3 beds are full size, the third not quite a queen. The outside area was very nice as other commenters ave noted. Owner very rude.
