Our villa Torre Toscana is perched high on a hill in Tuscany, on the border with Umbria.

It sleeps 11-15 people in spacious, comfortable rooms. From its many terraces and the gardens, you can see for miles around in all directions.

There are 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. 2 rooms have a double sofa bed each so the total number of guests can reach 15.
The circular pool is for guests' exclusive use. The villa is located on 1 hectare (2.5 acres) of private property.

Large groups can take advantage of the many shared common spaces together, while enjoying separate sleeping quarters in the evening.

The location is absolutely quiet and you can spend a relaxing holiday immersed in the Tuscan landscape. The pool is circular and it has a diameter of 8 meters.
Very panoramic position and great location for exploring Tuscany and also Umbria.

There is a piano in the living room: only expert musicians can use it and it must be requested at the moment of the reservation. Otherwise it will be locked closed.

Marvellous quiet hilltop house

Great stay with big extended family. House has a good vibe and is well-equipped incl. Massive wood oven outside and BBQ with outdoor tables. Lovely quiet and unspoilt countryside but within easy reach of great towns.

A wonderfully isolated villa with character, marvellous views, plenty of space and wildlife!

We were a party of eight looking to relax and explore some of the parts of Tuscany and Umbria that we had not seen for a few years. The villa was an excellent base. We rarely drove for more than an hour and a half to any of the hill-top towns that we had on our list. On days when we didn't set off for a lunch in Pienza, Assisi, Cortona etc, we relaxed in and around the pool, barbecued in the grounds and went for walks along long-forgotten tracks through the surrounding woods. We only needed to use the formal bedrooms to sleep in leaving much room for quiet retreats in the remaining living rooms. It took a couple of days for each of us to work out the best combination of sleeping with shutters and windows open or closed - this was mid-July - but once cracked we all slept peacefully. The biggest thrill of the stay was the regular visits from a family of wild boar. Around ten of them would wander through the gardens chomping away at fallen plums and anything else they could find to eat. The challenge was finding a place to watch them from without frightening them away. Having four pianists in the group meant that the grand piano was quite a bonus (thankfully spared from the risks of less-accomplished hands, sticky fingers and other hazards and so in very good condition). Michelangelo and his local team were most helpful and responsive to any requests. Another challenge for us was deciding where to eat each day - with so many choices. The favourite for lunch was the tower on top floor with its panoramic views. This also tied for the best place for pre-prandials with sitting around the 150-200 year-old mulberry tree in the front garden. And for supper it was either the dining room with windows and shutters wide open or the near end of the long row of "beer keller" tables beside the barbecue. And on clear nights we finished things off by star gazing. There was so little light pollution that we could even make out Saturn's rings with a pair of binoculars. We would thoroughly recommend this villa as a way to get away from it all and explore the region.

Attenzione a ciò che viene proposto

Location stupenda nelle colline Toscane, circondati dalla campagna e sotto un cielo da 10 e lode. Tuttavia non è tutto oro ciò che luccica e vi dirò perchè. La struttura promette 3 cucine e 4 bagni, ma in realtà il bagno di servizio al piano terra era chiuso e riguardo alle cucine no comment: 1 lavastoviglie rotta 1 frigo non raffreddava 2 impianti di piastre elettriche non andavano e sì, non c'è il gas e l'ELETTRICITA' SI PAGA anche se lo hanno scritto in piccolo e si nota poco. I bagni sono decenti anche se l'acqua ha un sapore di ferro davvero molto forte e in una delle docce manca il doccino quindi esce un getto d'acqua e trapassa la pelle. Ci si abitua comunque in poco tempo e la struttura fornisce un numero adeguato di asciugamani. L'ultimo problema grave che mi viene in mente è riguardo alla situazione insetti: è da segnalare il fatto che molto vicino alla struttura (ma ancora la posizione è ignota) è presente un nido di calabroni giganti che la sera entra in casa se vede luci. Tenere le finestre chiuse è quindi una sofferenza (NON c'è l'aria condizionata) OK, è giusto ora elencare anche i lati positivi: -la struttura è ben organizzata, sia a livello di camere con i ventilatori -la terrazza è una delle parti più belle della casa, da godere a colazione e alla sera tardi -non c'è l'ombra di una zanzara -Il custode Giuliano è una persona stupenda, viene subito appena chiedi aiuto e viene quasi ogni giorno a pulire la piscina. Nel complesso esperienza da 6.5/10

Perfect for a Group of friends and a rather rural experience - Awesome views + landscape!

Great house and landscape with everythung you can wish for. Enough rooms, space, terraces, outside area... even a Pizza oven that is tested and approved! With only a few tweeks regarding the Pool size, up to date furniture and kitchen facilities it would become a real diamond. In the current state 4/5 Stars with a mid-range price/quality ratio. Great help, support and overall customer experience with the agency+owner.

Vacanza perfetta per gruppi

Proprietà ideale per chi vuole rilassarsi e divertirsi allo stesso tempo. La posizione isolata è ideale per gruppi numerosi e permette di fare rumore senza disturbare nessuno. Ben attrezzata e soprattutto spazi larghi. Unica pecca, l'acqua del rubinetto non è ottima perché sa un po'di ferro. In generale però super soddisfatti dalla vacanza!!!

Stilvolles Anwesen in ländlicher Umgebung

Das Anwesen entspricht der Beschreibung. Es ist sauber, mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet und groß. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Für die Kommunikation beim Check-In sind Italienisch-Kenntnisse dringend erwünscht. Die Anfahrt insbesondere auf dem letzten Stück empfieht sich nicht für tiefergelegte Fahrzeuge. Für Buchungen gegen Ende September ist die Mitnahme von reichlich warmer Kleidung wichtig, da es keine Heizung gibt bzw. sie nicht angestellt wurde. Die schöne grüne Umgebung und die gute Ausstattung des Hauses waren aber auf jeden Fall etwas Besonderes

Herrlicher Urlaub

Drei Familien (12 Personen) haben drei Wochen lang dieses große, schöne Haus mit dem unglaublich tollen Blick genossen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Man hat sehr viel Platz, einen gut gepflegten Pool, einen riesigen Grillbereich, eine absolut empfehlenswerte Osteria am Fuße des Hügels und viele lohnenswerte Ausflugs- und Wanderziele in naher und weiterer Umgebung zur Auswahl. Umbrien ist lange nicht so überlaufen wie die Toskana und bietet landschaftlich und kulturell genug für viele schöne Urlaube. Anderen Urlaubern sei vielleicht vorab gesagt, dass bei Anreise genug Getränke mitgebracht werden sollten, denn das Leitungswasser ist nicht zum Trinken geeignet. Die Betten sind fest bis hart und man schläft mit den italientypischen Laken statt Bettdecken. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, auch für 12 Personen. Die Elektrogeräte sind in die Jahre gekommen, funktionieren aber ausreichend. Man sollte sich auch bewusst sein, dass es im Sommer Mücken und Bremsen gibt, was für die Gegend nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Wir empfehlen „Anti-Brumm Forte“, dann hat man seine Ruhe. Auch ein Elektrostick, um juckende Stiche nachträglich zu erhitzen, hat sich bei uns allen als sehr effizient erwiesen. Einmal draufgehalten und fertig. Tina und Fernando, die sich um das Haus kümmern, sprechen nur Italienisch, aber das war dank Google Übersetzer gar kein Problem. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle auch an die beiden! Michelangelo, der Vermieter war auch im Vorfeld jederzeit gut erreichbar und hilfreich. Die Kommunikation kann auch auf Englisch erfolgen. Fazit: wir kamen erholt und glücklich aus dem Urlaub zurück.

Tolle Lage und schöner Urlaub

Das Haus ist wunderschön, die Vermieter und die Familie, die sich vor Ort kümmert, sind sehr nett. Der Pool wurde top gepflegt. Die Kiesstrasse zum Haus ist für einen normalen Pkw schlecht zu fahren. Besser mit SUV anreisen. Sitzkissen für die Gartenmöbel wären toll gewesen, ein Sonnenschirm für den Balkon auch. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten. Es waren wunderschöne Tage in diesem traumhaft in der Natur gelegenen Haus!
