Lovely hosts and a fabulous setting for our overnight stop on the way from South of France to Calais. It's a nice mix of remote and peaceful, but just 10 minutes from the motorway so is perfect for what we need. Clean and plenty of room in a fabulous little village by an abbey. Will definitely stay again.

Spacious house in beautiful location

We were only here for one night after travelling back from Italy so a great stop on route to Calais. Annick was extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was large and well equipped. We ate outside on the warm terrace and later watched the amazing stars as no light pollution. The ancient abbey, almost opposite is fascinating. Only improvement would be a parasol as the terrace in the morning is a real sun trap. 🌞

We only stayed there one night as we were travelling to the south. On arrival we had to wait around for 15 minutes as there was no one around and no instructions sent. Luckily we found a farmer in a barn who was able to notify the owner who came over to let us in. The upstairs is very spacious and clean, downstairs is very office like with office blinds, sign on the toilet door and only wicker furniture to sit and relax on which doesn’t even accommodate the number of people staying a very small sofa and chair. There is a large dining table and chairs but no where to sit and relax. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone wanting to stay for long periods as the downstairs isn’t very appealing however for a over night stay it’s fine although a little expensive

Spacieux et silencieux

Grande maison idéal pour des vacances a 8 personnes comme notre groupe. Les 4 enfants ont aimé les environs avec les animaux a proximité et le fait de dormir dans la même chambre.Salle de bain spacieuse tout comme la salle a manger .Hote sympathique et présent lors de notre arrivée.

Heerlijke plek om bij te komen

Een perfecte tussenstop voor ons op weg naar huis. Een ruim huis, precies ook zoals op de foto’s. We hadden geluk dat de temperatuur een stuk lager was dan in het zuiden. Mede daardoor hebben we heerlijk geslapen. Om onze vakantie af te sluiten deden we boodschappen en haalden we sushi in een naburige plaats, Chaumont. Daar moet je wel rekening mee houden als je lang gereden hebt, de winkel is niet om de hoek. Maar een ritje door de heuvelachtige weilanden bij zonsondergang was het helemaal waard. Heerlijk bijgekomen en een goede start voor een voorspoedige rit naar huis!

We hadden dit huis geboekt voor 1 nacht voor doorreis. Huis was ruim, zeer schoon en echt goed. Prima contact met Annick ondanks taalbarrière. We werden goed ontvangen, konden er gelijk in. Omgeving zeer mooi, jammer dat wij niet iets langer bleven. Echt een top verblijf grhad! Dank je wel!
