Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel River and just 200 yards to lift #7!

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators).

This hotel room has a king bed that can be split into two twins if desired. The room has a flat-screen TV with satellite, mini-fridge, small microwave, fan and humidifier. The private bathroom has a shower (no tub) and a hairdryer.

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

The room is very clean, there is a need to update the bathroom and bed, a bit remodeling will go a long way. The quiet hours at the place ensures you get your sleep. The staff is very friendly and they make sure they answer all your questions. The location is perfect to walk downtown, plus great views of the mountains from the patio area.

Weekend get away

Decent room next to the river. A bit small, but overall not bad. Telluride prices, but was a great weekend.

Best part was the river view and sounds from the window. Honestly, the room should’ve been cleaner. The floor was sticky and the room smelled faintly of urine. We got the king bed room, and the bed felt like laying on springs and cardboard. Very loud, incredibly creaky, and mostly just plain uncomfortable. The sheets were 1-ply and had rips and stains throughout with hairs laying about. The pillows provided were very small and thin. The first night was so rough, we actually left early. This is one of the only affordable places to stay that’s dog friendly in Telluride, it’s in a great spot located walking distance from all the spots you want to go during your visit, so that’s a plus. But just maybe bring your own pillow or something.

By the brook...

Clean, spartan room perfect for adventurers that will not be spending the day in it. Microwave and fridge, no kitchen utensils. My only challenge was a bright light from eaves over room which is on all night, there is a very effective black out shade, but this also blocks the lovely breeze on hot days.

Fantastic Location at a Reasonable Price

The location was perfect--we were able to walk to everything in town, including several trails. The room itself is pretty basic, but we didn't need any frills, and the price--especially for Telluride--was just right. Really appreciate that they allow dogs, though it was a bummer the hot tub was closed.

Perfect location for our weekend getaway with our dogs

The room was as described, and while it’s an older building, the room had everything we needed and the location was perfect. We loved being right on the creek with quick, easy access to the path to walk with our dogs. There were kids in the room above us that made some noise, but never too early in the morning or late at night, so it was fine. Great to have an affordable and pet friendly option in Telluride.
