Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel River and just 200 yards to lift #7!

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.

This kitchenette room provides you with a two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, and the pans and dishes you need. The queen bed and twin bed are all in the same room. The bathroom has a large exterior vanity area and a step-in shower.

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

Great location in the heart of Telluride

Perfect location a short walk from either left #7 or the free gondola. Plenty of parking, walkable to just about any restaurant you want to eat at. Will definitely stay again.

Great value

This location is an easy walk to everything in town including the lift and gondola. Great value compared to the other locations in Telluride. Highly recommend staying here instead of in the Mountainside Village.

A closet space did not look the cleanest (cobweb), but otherwise as expected and the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

The stay was great, the only issue was that the sheets of one of the beds appeared to be covered in dog hair. We called the front desk and housekeeping dropped off new sheets.

Nice but small

The property was very good, convenient to downtown Telluride and the Gondola ride. Everything was pretty good except for the size of the room. With a queen bed and twin bed.....no space for luggage and only 2 chairs to sit on, 3 people in party, but overall a good experience

Our Second Blues and Brees stay

We used VRBO to book our second year in a row in Telluride to enjoy the beautiful mountain town and the Blues and Brews Festival. The festival is an awesome event with an excellent blend of Soul and Blues artists. We chose Mountainside Inn for its location, pet friendly accommodations and price. Nothing fancy here. Comfortable room. Great restroom. Nice bedding. Full kitchenette. For a pair of 66 year olds with a small dog and parrot, we were very comfortable. We will return’

Good cheap place to stay

Was perfect for what we needed. We were on a motorcycle exploration of the local passes and 4x4 roads. Just needed a place to lay our heads with a shower.
