This charming country house lies in the heart of the Val d’Orcia not far from San Quirico deep in the Tuscan countryside. Small hills, agricultural lands and small medieval villages which have remained intact in spite of time, are all distinct features of the surrounding countryside. Within the range of 25 km are towns like Bagno Vignoni, famous for its thermal baths, Montalcino and Pienza. Apart from these splendid places, also Montepulciano, Siena, Cortona or Lake Trasimeno are within easy reach. This early 20th-century building has been refurbished without altering the original feel of a Tuscan farmhouse with very high ceilings in terracotta and wooden beams, very large rooms and terracotta floors. The house is now divided into 3 apartments, all finely furnished with typically Tuscan “arte povera” rustic pieces found in the farmhouse as well as some antiques, and each has central heating. From each apartment you reach a common hall with TV Sat and ceiling fans, ideal for up to 20 people. There is a large green equipped area outside (6500 m2) with games for children and a swimming pool with a wonderful view (7.50x15, 1.35-1.45m deep)(01/05-30/09) with a solarium area equipped with shower, deckchairs and umbrellas. It is possible to have barbeques in the area around the swimming pool as well as use the wooden gazebo for outdoor dinners. The laundry room (washing machine) is on the ground floor. A staircase takes you from the bedroom to a sleeping loft with a single bed. On the first floor there are some locked rooms reserved for the owner.
