This fantastic apartment is on the fourth floor of a modern palace in the Dorsoduro Quarter. 3 double bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with shower and bathtub, and 1 wc, a complete kitchen, a dining room and a big living room. Exquisite furniture and a lovely terrace and one balcony. The apartment face 3 sides of the palace, and it is furnished with air conditioning, Wi-fi and all modern commodities. The large and bright living room can sit 6 persons and the dining room has seating for 6 as well. The terrace is equipped with a table where you can dine. This is the second living room for about 7 month a year. The bedrooms are big with queen size bed and the old furnitures and the ancient books give a character to the rooms that is unique.
The bathrooms are classic and the kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment can be reached via stairs or a lift and the proximity with piazzale Roma is extremely convenient for Taxis to the Airport and all vaporetto Line.
In the surrounding area, there is a large Supermarket (COOP) and several groceries in the near Campo Santa Margherita, where there is also a small fish and vegetable market.

Great apartment, great location.

The apartment was in a great location, far enough from the crowds but close to transport links and local restaurants.Michela communicated well and maintains a beautiful and spacious apartment.

A Most Serene Apartment

Our family of six made this this apartment our home base for a month-long stay in Venice, and we were delighted with it. The apartment is spacious and well appointed, within easy walking distance to the train station, two grocery stores, and lots of fun bars and cafés. We enjoyed the charm of the decor and the well-stocked library, and our host, Michela, was helpful and attentive in responding to any questions we had. This property is an excellent value for a family looking to settle in and get to know the beauties of a Venice!

Great stay in Venice!

The apartment has an antique vibe, from the vintage furniture to the abundance of books everywhere. The windows were nice and bright. Was a little loud being next to the canal with boats going by but at night it got quieter. The beds were all uncomfortable. The shower was very tiny and there was black mold between the tiles and on the curtain by the window. The location was convenient not being too far from the train station. The owner was difficult and not accommodating to my check in time. The listing states 4:00 as the check in time and I scheduled my train to arrive at 3:50. Michela demanded my arrival time the day before to arrange check in and I simply asked if 5:30 was too late since she said after 4pm would be better. She took my question as my confirmed arrival time, therefore when my train arrived at 3:50 I had to wait an hour and a half to check in. Maria who checked us in was very nice. Overall, I would still recommend staying here although if you have trouble sleeping on uncomfortable beds book somewhere else.

Magnifique sejour !!!

Appartement vaste, cosy, decoration litteraire, magnifique collection de livres! Grand volume, double salon, 3 vraies chambres, cuisine complete (four tradi et micro onde, nespresso (10 dosettes offertes a l arrivee), lave vaiselle, lave linge et sechoir, smart tv, chauffage impecable et clim aussi! Pq, shampoing, gel douche, draps et serviettes en quantite + extra edredons dispo! Petit supermarché Conad ouvert 7 jrs/7 a 4 minutes, place Campo SantaMarguerita! Vue sur les toits de Venise! 2 jeux de clefs, personne de liaison, Michela, hyper fiable et disponible! 20/20!! Nous reviendrons!!

Parfait en tout point!

L'appartement est très agréable, on s'y sent tout de suite bien avec une bibliothèque extraordinaire (c'est dans ces moments qu'on regrette de ne pas parler italien!). Très lumineux, propreté impeccable. Idéalement situé, près de la piazzale Roma et des vaporetti. A 5 min du Campo Santa Margherita où on trouve épicerie et petit marché. Le quartier est TOP : en dehors des sentiers battus mais un charme fou et de très belles découvertes (la Scuola Grande de San Rocco et l'église des Frari sont à 5 mn également). A recommander sans hésiter! Un grand merci à Maria pour son accueil très chaleureux. Anne et Olivier.

Clean, large and easily in walking distance from the train station

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was large enough for the 5 of us. It is in a quieter part of Venice away from the chaos of St. Marks Square but an easy 10 minute walk to the train station where you can catch a vaporetto to anywhere else in Venice and then on to the surrounding islands. There is also a smaller piazza very close - just across the canal and down a few side alleys where there is a variety of restaurants, a small grocery store and a gelateria. The apartment was clean and well furnished. The air conditioning works very well which is important in Venice in July. We would stay here again on our next visit to Venice.

Light and spacious! Tastefully appointed.

Bright and spacious. Great location and spotless. We were so impressed with overall feel of this large apartment. It was so tastefully appointed with original artwork and furnishings that it was a pleasure to be in each room. Large windows let in lovely breezes when the weather is warm. We wholeheartedly recommend and hope to stay during our next trip.

Beautiful place, complicated communication

The apartment is luxurious and huge, an oasis in the Venice chaos. Very clean and beautifully equipped. However, the communication with our hosts turned out complicated. It took time and wasn't really giving answers to our questions.

Lots of room and great character

The apartment is exactly as pictured. The books are everywhere and add charm and character. There was plenty of space for our family of 5, including three teenagers. The air conditioning worked well which can be crucial in Italy in August. The apartment is off the beaten path a bit which made it really quiet but it was close enough to everything that we walked everywhere. Also close to Pizzalle Roma so we didn't need to drag our luggage too far. And we took a vaporetto from Pizzalle Roma to St. Mark's Square along the Grand Canal which was lovely. Communication with the owner was good and Maria met us exactly on time with the keys and left us with lot of great information about Venice.

Perfect Venice vacation location!

This spacious light filled apt overlooks the Rio Nuovo and enjoys breezes and sounds of church bells throughout the day. Well appointed kitchen is a joy to cook in, dining area is adequate for many people and the adjacent living room is cozy. The location is so convenient to the train and bus stations and an easy walk from the zapporette stop for transport from the airport. Host staff were prompt and helpful. Would definitely return!

Great stay! Perfect for a family.

A good size home large enough to accommodate my family of 5. It's not in the center of it all so it's quiet. But walkable. Home is very well stocked.

Great charm and good location

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location was very handy to train and bus (not too many bridges to cross with luggage). The rooms were spacious and bright. A great breeze through the windows which was great for summer. Our greeter was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations for dinner. The apartment over looked a canal and had a great view.

Appartement spacieux, agréable et confortable

Appartement très agréable dans un quartier résidentiel et commerçant bénéficiant d'une jolie vue sur un canal et les toits de Venise. L'appartement est bien équipé (tout à fait conforme à l'annonce), la literie est confortable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par une amie des propriétaire qui nous a indiqué toutes les bonnes adresses du quartier. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement.
