Perfect base

Although a very small accommodation it had everything we needed including an excellent coffee maker. Spotlessly clean and very comfy bed leading out to a small private garden area. The owner booked a lovely restaurant for us on our first night.

Wonderful property

We loved everything about this delightful property. It is easy to get to (with the assistance of Google Maps), a short drive from Giverny, has a lovely outside seating area, it’s quiet, and has what must be one of the best showers in France! We highly recommend it, and wished we had spent another night or two there.

Compact Room in Vernon

The checkin was exactly as the hostess described. The bedroom is small but well appointed. The bathroom is modern and has a large wall-in shower. Hostess, Pascale was helpful in providing advice of restaurants and best times to visit the sights. Be sure to get instructions on how to lock the door as a special technique is required.

A lovely quiet hideaway

We enjoyed our two nights' stay here in Vernon in late May. Our room was cosy, with a kettle and a lovely large bathroom. The garden and private courtyard was an absolute delight. Pascale was a lovely and friendly host. The location was great, being an easy 10 minute walk from the train station and shuttle bus to Monet's Garden, and in a quiet neighbourhood. It took about 15 minutes to walk to town, which was fairly quiet, with limited dining options. Sections of central Vernon were being upgraded with new paving and landscaping at the time and when completed should look very smart.

Bei Regenwetter ist die Aufenthaltsqualität schlecht. Die Terrasse ist nicht nutzbar und drinnen kann man nur auf dem Bett liegen. Keine 2 Stühle oder Sessel. Die Innenstadt von Vernon ist nur mit dem Auto errichbar, das Apartment liegt in einem Vorort.

Incredible respite

After two weeks of nonstop go go, this was the respite we were looking for before touring Paris. I think you will love it if you have transportation or, are ok with walking and or riding a bike. Monet’s was a bit farther than we anticipated but we loved the bike cruise. All our meals were around 1 mile walk. It was great.

Mieux qu'à l'hotel

Habitant Paris, je cherchais une chambre pour une nuit de week-end car nous faisions une fête dans les environs. La chambre et la salle de bain attenante étaient parfaits, accès direct en rez de jardin, possibilité de récupérer les clefs et les rendre en l'absence des propriétaires. Tout est propre, rénové, bien équipé (café, thé...), à peu près équivalent au standard 4* des hôtels (manque la télé mais peu importe). Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion d'échanger en réel avec l'hôte, je n'étais que de passage, mais elle est très réactive et sympathique dans ses échanges ! J'imagine sans mal qu'elle saura répondre à toute interrogation sur la région pour ceux qui le souhaitent. Recommandation ++++

Rustig verblijf

De woning was in een nette staat en mooi schoon. Het was er heerlijk rustig in de avond waardoor je goed kon slapen. De accommodatie was in de buurt van het station en de binnenstad van Vernon dus een perfecte uitvalsbasis. De huurders waren aardig, maar spraken helaas nauwelijks Engels. Mijn partner vond het bed te stevig, maar zelf vond ik dat juist fijn.

Très bon séjour, un petit déjeuner préparé maison très agréable.

Dans cette chambre d'hôte on se sens comme chez soi, il y a une très belle salle de douche et la décoration de la chambre est très jolie. Les propriétaires sont discrets mais reste toujours à notre disposition. Belle région à visiter on vous le recommande. Marie et Gilles.
