Lovely, friendly, well-run

The Venezia apartment in the Vomero Holiday Apartments in Torquay was the highlight of our trip. It felt like an Italian villa. Our front verandah overlooked the large multi-level garden and at times we sat at the table and looked at the flowers and the sea less than half a mile away. Our hosts had carefully planned for any guest needs, with good maps and info on local attractions. Well done.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have lived in this beautiful Italian style Victorian villa since November 2019. Built in 1838, the house is full of rich history, charm and character, something we love sharing with our guests.

Hosting is something we genuinely enjoy and we take pride in creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where guests can feel at home while experiencing the beauty of the English Riviera.

We chose this special corner of Torquay for its rare balance of tranquillity and vibrant coastal life.

Set within the beautiful English Riviera, Vomero is nestled in the hills, offering a peaceful, secluded setting while still being just a short stroll from the lively bay with its shops, bars and restaurants.

The property itself is part of a stunning Grade II listed building dating back to 1838, now home to six unique self catering apartments full of character and charm.

From here, you can enjoy the best of both worlds, relaxing in quiet surroundings with sea views and gardens, then heading down to the coast to soak up the atmosphere, beaches and local dining scene.
