RIAD guest house ZOHAR

Riad Zohar is a "family house" located in the prestigious Mouassine district of the medina, a few minutes walk from Place Jemaa El Fna. Secondary residence of a Parisian couple since the beginning of the century, they privatize it in their absence, thus allowing a family or a group of friends to enjoy all the facilities together. Completely renovated in early 2009. The riad (750 m2) has 5 bedrooms, 2 of which have an extra bed, accommodating up to 12 people. As soon as you arrive at the riad, you will be seduced by the patio where lemon trees, orange trees grow and where the songs of birds replace the noise of the souks and the Place Jemaa el Fna.

The common areas allow everyone to find the best place at any time of the day:
. Overlooking the patio planted with citrus trees, a B'hou (Moroccan lounge) located in a large and comfortable alcove, very pleasant for breakfast, a mint tea or to rest after a walk in the souks . In a room, you will find a small heated pool with a jet stream and massage table where Fatima, the masseuse can offer you several types of body care.

A charming Berber lounge facing the B'hou for an aperitif by the fireplace while waiting to sit at the table in the adjoining room: The dining room in tatelakt and wood that can accommodate up to 12 people where Habiba and Hayat you will concoct wonderful Moroccan recipes, the owner is used to receiving his friends with a trio of Berber musicians that we install in the living room for unforgettable evenings.
Finally, still on the ground floor, the Green Room: comprising 1 double bed stays cool in summer, a sitting area and a bathroom in green tadelakt with its WC.
First floor,
A large air-conditioned lounge style "30s" with a beautiful fireplace in zelliges and tadelakt which serves another lounge with digital TV, computer available (ADSL / WIFI) and library ..
The air-conditioned Pacha suite: (the master bedroom) Very beautiful ceiling of old zouaké cedar wood, a double canopy bed with sheers, a chocolate-colored tadelakt bathroom with two basins, bath, shower and WC. A large varnished wooden dressing room to leave closets for visitors. The seating area with a bench seat can accommodate an additional person.
The air-conditioned Blue Room: with 2 single beds which can be pushed together to form a double bed with a sitting area and its bathroom in very traditional almond green tadelakt with its WC.
The small air-conditioned Yellow suite: with its double canopy bed and its silk sheer curtains which make it nicknamed "a thousand and one nights". This room can accommodate a third person on the sofa bed. It includes a bathroom in pale yellow tadelakt equipped with WC.
Mid-floor, between the first floor and the terrace:

. The small air-conditioned Berber suite: very "beldi" with a double bed and its bathroom with 2 basins and WC offers a private terrace. With its typical Berber ceiling (Attention: H: 1.80), it will seduce you with its undeniable charm

The terrace,

Large terrace on several levels with numerous dining areas (depending on the time or the season), a large living room and a solarium with deckchairs.
The covered lounge under pergola has a total panoramic view which allows you to appreciate the snowy Atlas in winter or the illuminated Koutoubia in the evening.
In winter, the riad is covered with a transparent roof protecting it from the cold and the rain.
