It is located on the ground floor with access from an internal courtyard which opens onto one of the main streets of the city. The house, with independent entrance and heating, consists of a large living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen and a closet. Amazing apartment! Everything you need and a great location. We were able to watch the Palio from the windows and get involved with all the excitement in the street. Federica was great at keeping in touch, let us drop off our luggage and organised an early check-in for us. We couldn’t have stayed anywhere better!

Outstanding apartment in a great location

Federica’s apartment was wonderful. It’s in a medieval building with all of modern necessities we needed to be comfortable. Communications with our hosts were seamless and the place was spotless. The central location in historic Siena was nice as were able to walk to and around most of the comtradas very easily. We would stay here again and highly recommended this apartment.

Perfect place

We stayed because it was facing the campo where the Palio was racing. It was so fun watching everyone set up and stage before the race and historical parade. It was the best.

Lovely place near Ill Campo!

Spacious, clean & lovely place near the “main square” in Siena. If you look out the windows and just turn your head, you can see a lot of it from the place! It was so close to everything that you want in town. The host was also very helpful. If you’re lucky enough to find this place available in your search, book it! We would definitely stay here again!

Best Apartment Experience

This apartment was perfect. Fredericca has it stocked with breakfast and a bottle of wine. It is decorated in such good taste with nice touches. The location is right on the square and very convenient to everything. I would highly recommend this apartment. It is the best one I have ever stayed in.

Perfect Il Campo Apartment

I was taking Italian language at Dante Alegheri in Siena and stayed in this apartment for five weeks. It was perfect for me. Federica was easy to chat with and very kind to check in on me from time to time. Close to all the sights, close to my school, well equipped with all you need in the kitchen, games, puzzles, washing machine and drying rack.

Excellent stay for the Palio

We stayed in Federica's apartment for 4 days for the August 2018 Palio. We had an absolutely fantastic time. The apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortably accommodated our family of 4. It is perfectly placed in the centre but accessed through a quiet courtyard. Frederica met us at the property and was extremely welcoming providing a very generous welcome pack. From the apartment windows you can see a large section of the Piazza del Campo so we watched some of the trials from the window. However, nothing beats being in the middle of the Piazza for the real thing. Federica was extremely helpful in giving us information on the Palio timings and even helped us get tickets for a contrada dinner which was a fantastic experience. Overall we loved our time in Siena and would definitely revisit this apartment if we return.

Beautiful arrival and set up but expensive

Nice home, great location. Basement apartment that feels like a basement apartment on one side as it’s into a hill, but the opposite side has gorgeous windows looking out near the plaza with excellent cross ventilation. Nespresso coffee maker is a big plus, and the bath was very good. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is because for the money, it needs better mattresses and a better parking arrangement local parking was €35/day which changed the pricing a bunch. And regarding the mattresses, they weren’t bad, but they weren’t that great either. Other than that we loved having an apartment.

Beautiful Siena

Loved the location so close to everything! Federica was great in communicating before and during our stay. And she was at the door to greet us and orient us and give us lots of tourist suggestions.

Perfect Siena Location

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property is. From it’s location to the apartment itself, everything far exceeded our expectations. Just steps from the Campo and located on the premiere street in Siena, you’re in the center of all the activity. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and wonderfully appointed The owner couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our extended stay in Siena. Being a VRBO property owner myself, I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the wonderful city of Siena.

A month in Siena Italy

It should be noted that this property is below ground level, therefore, it is very dark in the second bedroom and the kitchen . Although there are standing and table lights the main bedroom has a dark wardrobe and it is hard to see what you have inside. The light that is in the hall is wonderfully bright - the bedrooms could use one like it. Overall, location was great .
