Just 8 minutes walk from the sea and the village, stands Casa Bougainvillea. Thanks to its strategic position, it is close but "distant" from the bustle of the city center, warm and teeming with tourists. At sunset it is pleasant to sip a good glass of Sicilian limoncello on the terrace, being pampered by the light breeze, a faithful companion of the Bougainvillea house. On the floor, Loft with kitchen included and terrace. Downstairs three bedrooms (two doubles + kids room). Two bathrooms. Camping cot for babies. Buona casa, pessima esperienza

La casa è carina, potenzialmente potrebbe essere sfruttata meglio dai proprietari prendendo dei piccoli accorgimenti, sia negli oggetti forniti sia nella pulizia generale (non gestita direttamente dall'host). La casa è situata tra i 10/15 minuti a piedi dal mare e dal centro città in una zona molto tranquilla. Il terrazzino è spazioso e comodo se si vuole mangiare a casa. La zona superiore è ariosa e presenta aria condizionata (anche se poco potente per lo spazio da raffreddare), fortunatamente la cucina è dotata di ventilatore da soffitto. Due delle tre camere al piano interrato sono molto piccole e si fa fatica a trovare spazio per appoggiare le valigie. La camera più grande invece è molto comoda. Ci sono due bagni, uno al piano superiore sprovvisto di doccia e uno al piano inferiore con doccia (non avendo il piano doccia dopo ogni utilizzo bisogna pulire il pavimento del bagno). Fortunatamente è presente una doccia all'esterno della casa. La nostra pessima esperienza nasce dal fatto che a partire dal primo giorno abbiamo incontrato blatte di 6-7 cm all'interno (anche nei bagni) e all'esterno della casa (un problema comune a San Vito, ci è stato detto), Quando abbiamo visto che erano però presenti anche all'interno delle tubature del lavello della cucina abbiamo chiesto all'host una sistemazione alternativa ed è stato gentilissimo nel trovarcela, garantendoci che avrebbe disinfestato la casa dopo la nostra partenza. La pulizia generale della casa non era ottimale e consiglierei all'host di cambiare signora delle pulizie che oltre a non fare benissimo il proprio lavoro è stata scortese nei nostri confronti. La biancheria che ci è stata fornita con supplemento non era abbastanza per tutta la settimana, non essendoci nemmeno una lavatrice funzionante. Consiglio anche di attrezzare meglio la cucina (tra le altre cose non abbiamo trovato presine per le pentole) e sostituire gli oggetti datati e incrostati come le macchinette del caffè. Se le cose fatte notare venissero risolte sarebbe un'ottima casa vacanze, gestita da persone cortesi e disponibili. Punto forte rimane il prezzo di affitto. Ringrazio ancora l'host per averci fornito, molto gentilmente, una sistemazione alternativa.

Una vacanza rilassante in un posto stupendo

L' appartamento si è rivelato perfetto per il nostro soggiorno, ed il proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili, fornito di un bella veranda esterna dove abbiamo potuto pranzare, cenare e fare colazione ogni giorno all'aperto. In piu' l'appartamento si trova vicino alla spiaggia. Lo consiglio a tutti se volete tranquillità e ospitalità. Sicuramente ci tornerei ;-))
