MODERN APARTMENT WITH STUNNING PANORAMIC VIEW IN A TRADITIONAL VILLAGE SETTING
This is a lovely 2 bedroom, two bathroom apartment, with stunning panoramic views, in the pretty white village of Mijas Pueblo. The apartment is totally compliant with the Andalucian rental laws and is registered with the authorities as such. Bedroom one is a a large room and has a king size double bed and an en-suite full bathroom which has been recently renovated. Bedroom two has two full size single beds and a shower room/guest bathroom next to it. Both bedrooms have modern fitted furniture. The rest of the apartment has also been extensively refurbished and modernised, and now has a very large water tank/heater (providing ample hot water) and a new modern efficient, ducted air conditioning system (to the living area and both bedrooms) which also gives heat in the winter. The apartment is situated in the prestigious Sierra Mar urbanisation, on the quieter side of the village, but it is less than a 5 minute walk to an array of bars, restaurants and shops that are bustling throughout the year. However you choose to spend your day, the village and our apartment has something for you. Lounge on the superb sunbathing terrace by the communal pool, sit drinking wine watching the view from our wonderful terrace, people watch over a coffee at a pavement cafe or browse the many arty and knick knack shops around. It’s all here for you.
For an exact location pull up Mijas Pueblo on Google maps. You will see a large green blob in the middle. Look to the southwest of that and you will see 'Bullring of Mijas'. Keep going left and you will see Calle Cristobal Alarcon. We are at the bottom end of the street just where it takes a sharp U turn. Sierra Mar is where the 'C' of Calle' is on the map. Our apartment looks out southwest towards Fuengirola and the coast.
Unlike a lot of rental properties we will accept bookings for under a week in the Summer Season. PLEASE NOTE that there is a local cleaning charge of a 65 euros to be paid to our greeter/cleaner on departure as stipulated under the Additional Pricing Information heading. This covers the use of linen for two people in one bedroom. For the use of linen in the 2nd bedroom there is an extra charge of 15 euros.
We no longer take children under 18 years of age.
There is also an extra charge for late arrivals (after 9pm) of 20 euros to be paid to your greeter as we have to employ someone specifically for this (also stipulated in the Additional Pricing Information) We like to ensure you know all charges before you book.

Why they chose this property
We were looking to buy in this general area for over two years, after many years of short breaks around here. Our original plan, many years ago, was to buy in a small village/town in the Langedoc region in France where we'd holidayed each Summer, but when the funds were finally available the prices had rocketed. So we moved our search to around here. We must have viewed over 50 properties and nothing did it for us. We didn't want an obvious purpose built large gated complex in a place with no character and no view. Then, unlike us, we were suddenly in the right place at the right time (ask me and I'll tell you the story) We would never have normally been looking at that time of year and two days before we arrived this property came on the market. Although it was not our style, it gave us everything we had been looking for in France and more ... a swimming pool!!! And a garage space!! And a view to top all views!! Although when it was built 12 years ago it was purposely built as a 'complex' it is built like a white house blending into the old white houses on the street. It is a small complex, with only around 30 apartments, so it feels very much part of traditional Mijas, but modern. And very importantly, although at the quieter end of the village, so away from the tourist traffic, it is only about 4 mins walk from the start of all the bars, restaurants and shops. It's perfect!! And even more so to us now we have changed the look and modernised it.

Extremely well equipped. Cleaned to the highest standard. Well maintained Small village feel. English spoken very well by all the Northern European owners of the apartments in the complex and by shop and restaurant workers/owners. Close to all amenities. Lovely clean well cared for pool area with free to use sunbeds and parasols. THAT VIEW! Garage space
