Killary Vista Stunning Sea Views

Killary Vista is perched on an elevated site with panoramic breathtaking sea and mountain views overlooking the Wild Atlantic Way. This beautiful newly decorated self-catering accommodation is set in a unique location with views of Clare Island, Inishturk, Croagh Patrick including Clare Island and Inish Turk, Achill Island, Crump Island & Croagh Patrick, Killary Harbour and the majestic Mweelrea mountain. Barrastile is situated on a coastal road only one mile from Tullycross Village; where you will find local shops, bars with traditional music and restaurants most of which serve local seafood. This detached house has been newly decorated and offers a cosy and very comfortable holiday home.  From the moment you step inside you will feel at home.



Killary Vista is an ideal base for fishing, scuba-diving, hill-walking, horse-riding or touring as it is convenient to beautiful un-spoilt beaches. Renvyle is home to spectacular beaches; Lettergesh, Glassilaun and in particular the 'White Strand' which is a long expanse of white sand with stunning views across the aquamarine ocean that would rival any beach worldwide.  This magical place has inspired writers and artists and draws them back again and again.



The Property can sleep six comfortably. 1 double bed and 2 double rooms providing single beds.



The accommodation provides a very comfy and cosy sitting room with an open fire to enjoy in the evening after a fun-filled day.  There is a 3, 2 and 1-seater brown leather couch, the owner has provided board games and jigsaws for the kids to enjoy. There is a large flat-screen TV with a DVD player.



The open plan kitchen diner has been newly renovated to a beautiful fresh grey fully fitted kitchen providing all modern appliances including, a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, there is a dining table seating 6.  Stunning views from the sink of sea and mountain views.



Bedroom 1 offers a double bed with fitted wardrobes, a window to the front overlooking the garden and panoramic views over the sea and islands.  There is an ensuite shower room.



Bedroom 2 offers a double room with 2 single beds, there are fitted wardrobes with a sink, and a vanity unit.  Stunning views over the sea and islands.



Bedroom 3 offers a double room with 2 single beds, a free-standing wardrobe, and views to the back of the house.

Family Bathroom with bath and hand shower, sink unit and WC.



The house has oil-fired central heating, large private parking and bed linen is supplied.



* Please note The owners live in a self-contained apartment at the rear of the property however holidaymakers will not be disturbed in any way.

Fab stay

The location was beautiful, with a pristine white sandy beach and crystal clear water at just 10min drive. The home was just lovely and comfortable, with everything we needed!

wonderful holiday Home

The house very spacious, clean and the amenites as listed in the desciption. Stunning view of the sea, close to Tullycross and the beaches. The updated kitchen is a a great place for meals with a large living rom with peat fires. The owner are very nice /attentive. even on check in-day there were fresh flowers and basket fruit.

Beautiful Barrastaile

Beautiful house set in the picturesque postcard land of Connemara. this house was immaculate like a dolls house and the owner Mrs.Kerrigan was an absolute lady. wholeheartedly i would recommended this house to anyone looking for a beautiful stay in the equally beautiful surroundings of the renvyle Peninsula. 10/10

Killary Vista stay

Met by Olive who was available at all times if needed. Thankfully we didn't have a problem. Very warm and friendly host. The house is spotlessly clean, very roomy, and has everything one would need, and more. Beds very comfortable. The views from the house would hold their own with anywhere in the world. Simply stunning. The area is quiet but with bars/restaurants a short drive away ( transport essential ). The nearby Glassinaun beach is pristine and the water crystal clear, set against the backdrop of majestic Mweelrea mountain. Great value for money and highly recommended.

Killary Vista

For the week we stayed in Killary Vista, we absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect, to wake up and see the ocean out our window was stunning. Our 4 children loved it and felt very comfortable in the house. Olive is the perfect host and is so nice.

Stunning views

This holiday house is very cosy and clean, given these strange times of the pandemic this was very reassuring for us and for anyone who may be considering this holiday home. The owner is taking all precautions to ensure any visitors as well as her family are safe. I was anxious of this before I went if I am honest, however when I felt very safe. The views from the house are breath-taking, you can even see the dolphins swim in the sea if your lucky. it is ideal for family's with a large garden area to play in. It is in a perfect location for exploring Connemara. with Kylemore Abbey 12 mins Drive from the house. if you head to Clifton I suggest the red loop. the view is not to be missed. The beaches are a few minutes from the house with lovely white sands and aqua blue sea. I look forward to my next trip.

Accuracy needed

We thought we were renting a private location however the owners live upstairs not as listed in a self contained apartment at the rear of the property suggesting a separate space. Their movement, TV could be heard right above our bedroom. Positives location and views are great. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils you need for cooking/dining.

Traumhaft schöne Umgebung, sehr nette Gastgeber

Wir fanden alles genauso vor, wie es beschrieben wurde. Die Wohnung/ das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Hier fühlt man sich wohl. Der Ausblick ist sensationell. Hier kann man täglich Natur pur genießen. Die Strände sind traumhaft und annähernd naturbelassen, hatten wir vorher nicht erwartet. Hier muss man einfach baden und schwimmen gehen. Vor uns das herrliche Atlantikwasser, hinter uns die Berge... An kühlen und regnerischen Tagen kann man die herrliche Umgebung kennenlernen oder die umliegenden Städte besuchen.

ein superschönes Panorama

Die Ferienwohnung ist mit Allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Die Zimmer sind etwas in "die Jahre" gekommen und das Schlafzimmer ist sehr eng. Der Wasserdruck für die Dusche reicht kaum zum nass werden und ist über einen Durchlauferhitzer geregelt, den man jedesmal anstellen muss. Es macht viel Lärm beim Duschen. Strom und Heizung ist nach Verbrauch zu zahlen, die Berechnungsgrundlage wird nicht erklärt und die Heizkörper sind nicht zu regulieren. Ein sparsames Heizen ist so leider nicht möglich. Am Ende wurden uns 35€ bar abverlangt, obwohl in der Beschreibung steht: wird von der Kaution einbehalten. Es gab keine Quittung. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und wohnt mit Mann und Hund im Hinterhaus. Der Ausblick aus allen Zimmern ist wirklich wunderschön...Wir hatten täglich Wetter-TV und haben es genossen. Die Gegend ist grandios und der Standort war für Unternehmungen in alle Richtungen gut gewählt.

A little piece of paridise

First of all I thought the property was named Barrastaile. I hadn’t heard of Killarney Vista. Whatever the name though, the property was amazing. Olive, the lovely host, met us and showed us around her lovely home. She had even left us some little cakes to welcome us. The house itself was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. The Kitchen was large and fully equipped. The lounge room was furnished with Comfy furniture and an open fire and the best part a fabulous panoramic view. Also the bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Although we didn’t use it there was a very large bath in another bathroom. The house is ideally placed to explore the Conemmarra area. Very smooth rental process, good communication. Everything as described or better. We would not hesitate to recommend Olives Self catering accommodation. Thank you Olive for a wonderful experience.

Clean and Comfortable

A good sized property with a well equipped kitchen. Our only gripes were over the stated location, it is actually 2.5 km from Tully Cross and the provided GPS co-ordinates sent us to the other end of the Renvyle Peninsula - so if your going to use the house get detailed instructions on how to get there before you leave.

beautiful location, very clean and tidy, very central

Cleanest self catering accommodation I have ever stayed. Location was beautiful. Landlady never bothered us. House had lovely features, the view was to die for. Centrally located for letterfrack, cliften, killary fjord and Westport.
