This light and airy 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment is on the second floor of this modern building - it’s just below our Penthouse apartment and so is ideal (subject to availability) for groups of up to 8 people. It’s located in The Saints District of Ipswich which is centred around the Wolsey Statue in St Peters Street where you will find an exciting mix of cafes, independent shops and local businesses. It’s perfectly located between the main town centre and the popular Waterfront area and is a short walk away from the main business district.
** For families, this apartment is suitable for a maximum of 2 children over 8 years old, accompanied by 1 or 2 adults. Children are included in the maximum occupancy. Additional security deposit applies.**
The apartment is a good size and is furnished to a very comfortable level with a fully equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer, oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, and sufficient cooking/serving equipment for your day-to-day catering.
You will be provided on arrival with a welcome pack of basics such as bread, butter, milk, cereal, eggs, beans and tea/coffee. We also provide essentials such as washing up liquid, kitchen rolls, cooking oil, salt and pepper.
The living room has a large corner sofa and a large window seat with cushions for watching the world go by. There’s a coffee table, dining table and chairs for four people and a Smart TV. Free to air terrestrial channels are provided and also the facility for you to view your own streaming content.
The master bedroom has a king-size (5ft) bed which can be split into 2 twin beds upon request. The second bedroom has a double bed. Both bedrooms have wardrobe storage space.
There are two bathrooms, one with a shower-over-bath and another with a shower cubicle - welcome toiletries (shampoo/shower gel) are provided.
It comes with one on-site secure car parking space. There is a lift to all floors.
Please note there is no requirement for a carbon monoxide detector as there is no gas supply to this apartment.
Ipswich is Suffolk’s County Town and due to recent and significant regeneration projects, the town is alive and bustling. It has a thriving business district, an excellent cultural and arts scene, a constantly growing food and drink offering, sports and outdoor activities galore, some spectacular coastal, rural and architectural scenery, many places of interest to visit, and not forgetting the impressive history and heritage of the area which dates back to the Anglo-Saxon times. You will not be bored visiting Suffolk!
Ipswich has a great transport service network of buses, trains and taxis as well as good access to A12 / A14 arterial roads and is just one hour from both London Stansted and London Southend airports by car, and the train from London Liverpool Street.

All plates and bowls have been replaced. We are somewhat reliant on guests informing us of any issues - it is impractical for us to check every single item between every single guest. If we did that our prices would be much higher.

Great stay in Central Ipswich
37 nights away from home in a hotel could have been Horrendous! The Toothbrush apartment was like home from home everything I needed was there. I loved the flexibility the apartment offered, I could stay in and cook or pop out to eat and there was plenty of choice on my doorstep. Thanks guys for a most enjoyable stay.

Thanks for your 10/10 review!
We know that you did indeed experience some WiFi connectivity issues at the start of your stay. However, a quick reboot of the router seemed to fix it all, and no further issues were reported to us. Also, it only seemed to effect some of your devices, not all, and our own internet connected devices in the apartment worked fine throughout. As such, as far as we are aware, there is no issue at all with WiFi connection in this apartment.

Lovely apartment and great location!
I enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It is ideally located close to shops and restaurants, and short walking distance from town center. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and I was delighted that it had a washing machine and dryer. Martin, the landlord, was very friendly and accommodating to any requests we had. I’m looking forward to staying here again when I return next year. I would definitely recommend this location to my family and friends.

Oh Dear!
Our stay was really disappointing, we found the apartment to be lacking greatly on cleanliness in many areas.

We're going to have to stick our hands up on this one and admit that we fell short on this occasion.
Suffice to say that the housekeeping team concerned have been made very aware that their work was not of an acceptable standard, and further training has been given - which will be monitored much more closely in future.
However, we're of the view that a 1 star review is not justified. Whilst we acknowledge that some specific areas that should have been cleaned (under the sofa and a bed for example) were not, this review gives the impression that the apartment was dirty throughout. It most certainly was not.
We take guest satisfaction very seriously, to the point that the morning after arrival, we send an email to the booking guest asking whether everything is ok. Unfortunately this group didn't see, and therefore respond, to that email until after they departed, so we were not able to action their concerns - which we absolutely would have done.
Suffice to say that, although it hasn't been mentioned, as soon as we found out about the problems, we made an offer of compensation to them for their poor experience, which they accepted immediately.
We can guarantee that a review of this nature will never be repeated.
