About this property

Southgate is a quiet village located above Three Cliffs Bay with clifftop walks taking in beautiful scenery. The area is looked after by the National Trust and it takes approimately 20 minutes to get onto pobbles/Three Cliffs beach. The village has a number of places to eat from coffee shops to restaurants and a pub. The renowned Pennard Golf club is situated at the entrance to the village with views over the bay. If you like walking then it is a great base but a short drive will take you to all the beaches on Gower and they are well worth exploring.

About the host
Hosted by Trudie Adams
Hi, my name is Trudie and I was brought up in Murton near Bishopston, Gower. I love this place and have fantastic memories of Sunday afternoon picnics on Horton beach. scrambling over rocks in Foxhole and eating ice cream on Caswel Bay. You can't beat The Gower for diversity and I am sure you will love it too.
I now live in Aberdeenshire and am dreaming of one day retiring to this little part of Wales. I am a designer and run a home furnishing company in my day to day life
