About this property

Tarn Gite: Quiet well equipped accommodation in beautiful countryside.

Our gite was constructed in 2007. Architect designed, it sleeps 4 people and has been built and furnished in a classical style to capture the relaxed warmth of the Midi-Pyrnees region.

The Gite Living Area is open-planned with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. With its high ceiling, roof beams and spiral staircase, the living area has a very spacious feel to it.

In the summer the French windows add to the spaciousness with views onto the garden and, in the winter, the wood burning stove gives a warm and cozy feeling to the gite. The gite is well insulated and remains cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The gite is located in our garden, at a good distance from our house so as to allow privacy. Next to the gite is a small orchard and renters are welcome to pick cherries, plums and apricots when they are in season.

The gite has two terraces - the front terrace has views onto the garden while the shaded back terrace has views over farmland, with woodland in the background.

Unsere Gastgeber haben uns auf herzlichste empfangen. Ein älteres Ehepaar mit einem Herz am rechten Fleck. Sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus versprach das, was in den Bildern aufgezeigt wird. Die Eigentümer sind auch mit wohnhaft auf dem Grundstück, sollte irgendetwas sein, einfach Bescheid geben. Als Anmerkung, man hat trotzdem ein ganzes Grundstück für sich alleine. In der Summe kann man sagen: immer wieder gerne, wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt.

séjour d'une semaine pour visiter le Tarn

gite bien situé pour visiter un maximum de bastides et autres lieux. L'endroit est très calme et reposant. le gite très bien équipé, seul petit bémol la literie ne nous convenait pas trop mais c'est un point assez personnel.

Des vacances superbes

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans un gite très confortable - tout était top. Le gite est très bien equipé et les deux térasses permettent toujours d'étre à la bonne coté, selon le soleil. Les locateurs sont très sympa et charmants; en plus ils nous ont donné de bons conseils pour des excursions et des randonnées. Merci beaucoup à Anton et Rozette pour deux semaines de vacances magnifiques!

Het huisje was prima. De gastheer en gastvrouw waren buitengewoon vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij. Fijn dat de gastheer vooraf goede informatie gaf over bezienswaardigheden en activiteiten in de omgeving. Leuke Middeleeuwse dorpjes in de omgeving, en een mooi landschap. Vacances très reposantes

Cette location est parfaite pour des locataires cherchant à se détendre. La maison est très bien équipée, les propriétaires sont charmants et pas invasifs du tout...... Our Tarn Holiday Gite is located close to Lavaur in the South of France. It was constructed in 2007. The architect-designed gite sleeps four people and has been built and furnished in a classical style to capture the relaxed warmth of the Midi-Pyrenees region. The gite has been independently assessed by Clévances who have given it 3 'keys' (stars). Clévacances assesses the gîte every 3 years in order to ensure that it continues to provide guests with a high standard of accommodation.

The gite is 4km from the medieval market town of Lavaur, approximately 45 minutes from Toulouse Blagnac Airport and 90 minutes from Carcassonne Airport. There is a train station in Lavaur and the holiday cottage is also easily accessible by car. The gite is well positioned and there is plenty to see and do in the area.
