We had a wonderful stay at this charming two-bedroom fisherman’s house, just a stone’s throw (around 30 metres) from the beach. We were a family of four — two adults and two teenagers — and found it a great base for exploring Sesimbra.The house is compact but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Its location is fantastic, with bustling, family-friendly restaurants and cafés right on the doorstep. There are options to suit all budgets, and while many of the restaurants specialise in the delicious local fish and seafood, there are also plenty of meat options.Our host, Ana, was friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made us feel very much at home.A small consideration is that parking can be challenging, so be prepared to make use of the local streets and walk a little. Sesimbra is built on a steep hill, so we certainly got our steps in! That said, the evening strolls along the flat promenade were a real highlight, especially with the lovely cool summer breeze coming off the sea.Overall, a fantastic location, a welcoming host and a lovely little house in the heart of Sesimbra. We would happily stay again!
