We had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the garden and nearby forest! The barbecue needs to be replaced but besides that everything was present and of good quality. Several interesting locations to visit nearby. We enjoyed CERZA zoo and Le Bec-Hellouin very much. The host is very friendly and check in was swift!
Large house, large garden. Old, but with a lot of atmosphere. Peaceful. We had a most pleasant stay. When it was raining, one of the toilets had a bit of a smell, but otherwise no negatives.
We fully enjoyed our stay. The house is perfectly located between Lisieux and Évreux. Just 45 minutes from Rouen and less than one hour drive frome the beach.
The owner responds very quick.
The house itself has its charms of being build in the 18 hundreds so do not expect everything to be shiny new but full of character! It sits on a plot of land with enough space to feel all by yourself but still close enough to the neighbours.
If you are looking for a place for maximum 6 people we would recommend this house.
Lots of activities to do nearby as well but you will have to look it up.
Cerza Zoo, horse back riding, Acroforest just to name a few.

Wonderful house - Check-In not flexible
A beautiful house and very calm environment, we really enjoyed the stay for one sunny week. However, didnt like too much strict rules and unflexibility of the host. Kitchen could need a cleaning. A bit of a trap that the host only let us know about his unflexible rules with check-out when the cancellation without costs was passed.

Susanne wanted to leave home at 4 AM! Sorry we can't do the check-out at this time. The rules and the hours for coming/leaving are all described in the announce. You just had to read them before booking.
Atmospheric, old restaurated house.
Three reasonably spaced sleeping rooms upstairs: one with an adjacent, recently renovated bathroom/shower; one as a walkthrough for the third room (which has an external stairway)
A separately bathroom upstairs with bidet and toilet for all 3 rooms; one toilet with washingmashine central-downstairs, one shower downstairs beside the living room which has a well functioning wood-burning stove.
As we had our car fixed we had to stay more at the house as planned. The bikes came handy for that.
We cooked often, therefore the small kitchen was extensively used, we missed a handmixer there.
We liked the park-like garden a lot, with plenty cosy places to rest under old trees or shadow places.
The wifi/internet is about 12-14MB download, which was reasonable enough for our teenage daughters :-).
The communication with the Landlord Aurelien was seamless, he speaks and texts english fluently.
Altogether: We liked it a lot! Although our car broke down, it was a wonderful trip to the Normandy.

Familienurlaub

Our experience was very good. First time to stay in a rural location in France and the house lived up to our expectations. Rooms clean and tidy and plenty of room both inside and out. Would need a car or form of transport if wanting to go into the nearest town. No complaints and would suit families who prefer a quiet family holiday - owner was easy to deal with and accommodated us with any requests. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful French countryside. The house has so much character. Enclosed garden was wonderful for our two young children to play. We were able to do day trips to Paris and Bayeux. Owner was very responsive and wonderful to work with. Great family experience; thank you!
