Fantastic stay in Guadamello, Umbria in a very beautiful place

The house and surrounding countryside dotted with hill top villages are absolutely delightful!! There is lots to visit in the area, not to mention delicious Italian food. The owners (Paola, her son and husband), gave us a very warm welcome. We spent a week here with our 7 and 9 year old daughters who made the most of the brand new swimming pool. The views over the valley and opposite hills from the pool are stunning. The 2 bedrooms stone house is newly and beautifully renovated, and everything one needs for a comfortable stay is provided (included an information folder with local places of interest for visits and eating out). The gardens around the house are beautiful too, just as seen on the website pictures. We spent time visiting the nearby and very pretty villages of Narni (classical music festival end of July) and Otricoli, and went to the Cascata delle Marmore (water falls). We highly recommend this rental (we cannot fault it in any way, if only perhaps the lack of air conditioning which would be welcomed in the height of summer), and are thinking of coming back next year.

Wonderful Stay

We stayed in this house for a week and the place is as beautiful as you see in the pictures! As soon as you are there, you are at ease. The house is clean, comfortable and very well furnished. Paola, the owner, and her family are all very kind and always at your disposal. Our two little girls (aged 7 and 3) had a wonderful time playing in the big garden and spent a lot of time on the swing. We could enjoy peacefully our aperitifs admiring the stunning sunset while the kids were entertaining themself. During our stay in Guadamello, we visited Narni, Orvieto and Marmore’s falls. All of these sites are within 40 minutes-drive from the house, and deserve a visit. We had good time in Guadamello and we warmly recommend this place.

Vacanze estive perfette per i bambini

Abbiamo soggiornato nel casale dal 16 al 23 luglio. Eravamo una famiglia con due bambini di 3 e 5 anni. Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, nonostante fosse una delle estate più calde degli ultimi 15 anni grazie alla proprietaria che ci ha messo a disposizione una piscina per i bambini abbiamo sofferto il caldo molto meno. La proprietaria è una persona molto carina estremamente gentile e disponibile. La casa è ben arredata e ben fornita di tutto il necessario (stoviglie,lavastoviglie, detersivi etc..). Le camere e l'unico bagno sono nel soppalco, in effetti avere un solo bagno al piano superiore non è molto comodo. La camera mansardata è molto graziosa, ma anche molto calda. Nel salotto sotto sarebbe comodo avere un divano matrimoniale che in estate quando fa molto caldo potrebbe essere utilizzato per dormire in sostituzione della camera soppalcata. Comunque è stata una vacanza all'insegna della natura e perfetta per i bambini che possono vivere immersi nella natura di una bellissima campagna. Anche la parte esterna della casa è curata da un simpatico giardiniere.I miei figli hanno molto apprezzato anche le altalene del giardino e il ping pong messo a disposizione nella stanza lavanderia. Noi adulti ci siamo immersi nella quiete del posto. La casa è molto isolata e ci sono anche le mucche a pochi passi. Si può godere un bellissimo panorama e fare delle belle passeggiate.
