Casa Palme, APARTMENT AT SEA

The house is located on a small and quiet beach in Marzamemi, 10 meters from the sea. It's an ideal situation for those who want to live all day in a bathing suit, especially for children. Parents can watch the dives of their children sitting in the shade of the large covered porch, with a splendid view of the ancient tuna fishery. Inside the house, the nice furnishings and accessories allow you to enjoy a quiet beach holiday and enjoy a well-earned rest. The comfort is assured by an air conditioner dedicated to the three bedrooms in the sleeping area. One of the three rooms has a bathroom, there is also a second bathroom with shower, a large living room with TV, DVD player and WIFI internet. Large windows overlooking the sea, a storage area. There is a barbecue and outdoor furniture with table, chairs and deckchairs. There is an outdoor shower on one side of the veranda. A few minutes guests will appreciate the beauty of the village of Marzamemi, where there are typical restaurants, grocery stores, souvenirs.
The local regulations provide for the payment of the tourist tax equal to € 1.50 per day for the first five days of stay. Children under 12 and those over 75 are exempted from paying the tax.
The initial supply of bed linen and towels is provided for each guest. If additional linen is requested, the sum of € 10,00 each must be paid.
The consumption of electricity is included up to 100 kw/h, beyond this the consumptions, detected by counter, will be counted at € 0.30 kw/h.

A lovely apartment 5 mins from a film-set of a village. Beautiful.

The property is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Marzamemi. A beautiful village with many fabulous restaurants and bars. The house/apartment fronts onto the beach. It’s a very small beach which is nice but with easy access to the sea. The terrace is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The house is great and is very comfortable and spacious. Patrizia, the host, was most helpful and approachable with many recommendations of places and restaurants to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Perfect location

Very nice flat with a perfect location directly at the beach and a terrace overlooking the sea. Close to the town for restaurants and ice cream, nice fishing boats, ... . Highly recommended especially for families with children.

Davvero un’ottima posizione con tanto di spiaggia privata, l’assistenza del proprietario eccellente in tutto. Da migliorare l’arredamento e le stoviglie e attrezzi da cucina che sono un po’ datati per il prezzo che si paga.

Appartement très pratique avec 2 enfants en bas âge.terasse sécurisée donnant directement sur la plage.a 5 min à pied du centre de marzamemi. 50min de syracuse. Parfaitement situé pour découvrir la Sicile baroque.gite bien équipé et au calme.enzo notre hôte est très sympathique.le seul petit bémol c est les morceaux de verre sur la plage,les enfants étaient équipés de chaussures de plage donc nous avons pu profiter quand même en faisant attention.nous avons préféré aller nous baigner à San Lorenzo à 5 10min d ici par contre.mais les enfants ont vmt profite de notre plage quasi privée à cette epoque(mai).

Perfect vacation!

We, a young family with two kids, spend 9 relaxing days at the appartment of Patrizia. The property is perfect located for starting different trips by car. Our kids especially enjoyed the nature park (15 min by car) and our visit of incredible Mount Etna. And of cause... the appartment itself. Equipped with everything we needed, very clean, perfect with the beach directly in front of the terrace, so the kids could play on the beach while we were always able to have our eyes on them, while relaxing on the terrace. The little village Marzamemi is a very lovely place. While our vacation took place before main tourist season, we met a very quiet and relaxing place with a lot of shops and restaurants, a nice small playground at the beach and a cosy historic centre. A special thanks also to Enzo, who was supporting us during our stay and who was always available on any question. Finally a last recommendation: Pizza to take away from the pizzeria Club Nautico, almost next door. Very good pizza, to enjoy on the terrace while the kids were asleep.

Ideal für Familien ...

Wir (Familie mit 3 Kindern) haben eine ruhige Woche Ende April in diesem Strandhaus in Marzamemi verbracht. Enzo hat sich während dieser Zeit bestens um uns gekümmert und war zu jeder Uhrzeit ansprechbar. Uns hat gefallen: Ruhige Lage direkt am Strand (Vorsaison mit wenig Touristen), Ausstattung (Küche, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine ...) ist komplett und praktisch, große Terrasse und großes Wohnzimmer, Parkplatz direkt am Haus, das Meer vor der Tür ... Wänden nur 2 Sachen nicht so gut - die lagen aber nicht unbedingt am Haus: auf dem Strand lagen vielen Algen und Müll, leider auch Scherben (ein Laubfeger wäre hilfreich), uns waren die Betten zu weich .. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen - es gibt kaum einen schöneren Platz als die Terasse um morgens einen guten Kaffee zu trinken ..

Gute Lage direkt am Meer

Einfache Ferienwohnung (aber für das Preisniveau wirklich ok) direkt am Meer. Der schöne Ort Marzamemi direkt in Fußnähe. Wir waren Anfang April dort, das Wetter war für die Jahreszeit unterdurchschnittlich. Für dieses Wetter ist die Wohnung dann nur eingeschränkt zu empfehlen, da nur mittelmäßig via Klimaanlage zu beheizen und bei starkem Wind auch nicht wirklich dicht. Das wird aber wohl auf fast alle Wohnungen auf Sizilien (und Restaurants) zutreffen. Für gutes Wetter aber eine Empfehlung. Die Betreuung von Enzo vor Ort (in Englisch) war super!

Wohnung wäre bei schönem Wetter ideal gewesen

Wenn die äußeren Umstände anders gewesen wären, hätten wir eine sehr schöne Woche in Marzamemi verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit Enzo im Vorfeld und der Empfang vor Ort waren super nett. Die Wohnung ist völlig in Ordnung und wenn etwas fehlt oder nicht in Ordnung ist, kommt Enzo sofort. Leider hatte es in der Woche vor unserer Ankunft stark gestürmt, so dass von dem Strand außer Tonnen von Algen nichts zu sehen war. So war er auch leider nicht nutzbar. Auch die anderen Strandabschnitte waren voller Algen und stark vermüllt. Dafür konnte Enzo natürlich nichts. Da es aber in der Woche immer wieder regnete und stürmte, waren die Straßen aufgrund mangelnder Kanalisation komplett überflutet. Leider wird wohl im Oktober der Müll nicht mehr ganz konsequent entsorgt. Das Städtchen ist entzückend, Restos ohne Ende und eine piazza, die ihresgleichen sucht. Also, im Sommer auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

A very relaxing stay. The central town square is very attractive, busy at night but area around apartment is quiet although we could hear music from town drift across the bay from about 11pm. The sea is very shallow and safe for swimming; we had the beach to ourselves in early morning and afternoon siesta time even at peak August holiday time. Enzo, the owner, is very friendly and helpful with good English.

Wir verbrachten 5 wunderschöne Tage in dieser Unterkunft - Ausstattung völlig ausreichend, gut gelegen & ein Paradies für unsere kleine Tochter, die auf der großzügigen Terrasse oder am Strand selbstständig spielen konnte. Trotz vorhandener Nachbarn sehr gemütlich & uneinsichtig. Perfekt betreut durch Enzo, der - wann immer nötig (zB WiFi-Ausfall) - innerhalb von Minuten verfügbar war.

Perfekt für Urlaub mit Kindern

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in Marzamemi. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ideal für Urlaub mit Kindern. Die Eltern sitzen auf der Terasse, die Kinder spielen am Strand, der direkt am Haus beginnt. Das Zentrum von Marzamemi ist zu Fuss in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Enzo ist ein perfekter Gastgeber. Wenn etwas fehlt oder man Hilfe braucht, ist er sofort zur Stelle. Vielen Dank für Alles!

Fantastische Lage direkt am strand, superfreundlicher und hilfreicher Verwalter.

Unsere Ferien in Marzamemi waren fantastisch. Mit 3 kleinen Kindern waren die Terasse (direkt am Strand) und die saubere, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung wirklich toll. Enzo, der Verwalter, hat uns superfreundlich empfangen und war immer erreichbar, wenn man seine Hilfe brauchte. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder...es hat uns sehr, sehr gut gefallen. una vacanza spettacolare

Siamo rimasti entusiasti di questa location sia per il contesto spettacolare sia per la casa molto curata. La cordialita' della propieta' e del signor Enzo sono stati impagabili. Il mare è rimasto nei nostri occhi anche se, ormai siamo rientrati alla realta' della citta aspettando l'anno prossimo per ripetere questa bellissima esperienza.

abbiamo passato una settimana a fine maggio in questo meraviglioso paese "marzamemi" e abbiamo alloggiato a "casa delle palme",le foto che si vedono nel sito sono piu' che reali un'appartamento spazioso,pulito e confortevole,il signor enzo molto gentile e disponibile alle nostre richieste,lo consiglio a famiglie o a coppie di amici, per un totale relax, in spiaggia che in centro che dista 5 minuti a piedi,dove si trovano dei meravigliosi ristorantini sul mare .milva daniele tina eddy

Wonderful Appartement beside the sea

A beautiful place to stay. Right beside the sea, perfect for families with small kids. A huge Terrace with view to old Marzamemi. Clean, very nice prepared rooms with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. There is beach stuff to play with for kids, snorkel equipment, a washing machine. During the season the bread-man is driving around selling rosetta and baguette for breakfast. Lovely people who rent out the Appartement!
