The house is renovated to a high standard. It is comfortable and well equipped. It was hot the week we stayed, but the house remained cool. The location is peaceful. We loved exploring Corrèze - and the upper Dordogne. The host was great at communication (in English and French) and welcoming.

Beautiful country getaway

This house had everything we needed for 8 people to comfortably stay including large kitchen, dining and living areas. Washing machine and dishwasher were great too. Surroundings are beautiful and a great place to get away from it all.

ce fut mon premier séjour dans cette région de France , LA CORREZE mais ce sera certainement pas le dernier , surtout lorsque l'on a la chance de rester au CHARLU une demeure du 16ème siècle superbement restaurée avec goût et beaucoup d'espace pour un groupe de 8 personnes. Nous avons passé au Charlu le meilleur moment de notre voyage en Europe et venant d'Australie tous mes amis furent largement impressionnés par la bauté et le calme de cette propriété. Bravo pour cette superbe maison nichée dans l'une des plus belle région du centre de la France .

gîte "de charme" parfait pour y accueillir une famille avec 3 générations. Nous félicitons les sympathiques propriétaires pour l'aménagement (tant intérieur qu'extérieur)de cette ancienne demeure. Très beau gîte

Nous venons de passer une très belle semaine au gîte Charlu. L'endroit est idéal pour les grandes familles en recherche de tranquillité et de campagne. Les paysages sont grandioses, le climat très agréable (nuits fraîches) et le confort est au rendez-vous (attention escaliers un peu rudes pour les tout petits) espace piscine de qualité et très sécurisé . Grande confiance des propriétaires vis à vis des locataires ce qui est très agréable. Nous recommandons ce gite et cette magnifique region.

Notre séjour entre Noël et Nouvel An 2015

Notre séjour a bien commencé avec les indications des propriétaires nous avons trouvés facilement le gîte même en plein nuit. L'accueil fut chaleureux avec un panier de bienvenue, une présentation complète du gîte ainsi que tous les recommandations sur l'utilisation des différents appareils du gîte. le gîte est une demeure du 16e siècle, la décoration est jolie avec tout le confort et technologie de notre siècle (wifi, écran plan ...) Ce que nous avons apprécié le plus c'est les cinq chambres avec leurs commodités . Cela donne une intimité à chacun. Les vieilles pierres donnent du charme à cette demeure, une cheminée gigantesque et surtout cet escalier en pierre qui vous donne l'impression de retourner dans le temps. Ce gîte est très agréable à vivre une grande pièce, cuisine ouverte sur un salon salle à manger pour notre groupe de 12 personnes. Je recommanderais ce gîte; Séjour très agréable

Semaine de rêve

Nous étions 12 personnes sur 4 générations : nos parents, enfants et 3 petits-enfants. Chacun a passé une semaine extraordinaire : piscine chauffée et très bien sécurisée, les balades dans une nature magnifique, la tranquillité du site, la qualité des aménagements du gîte, tant en matière de déco que de confort. Propreté irréprochable et propriétaires charmants viennent compléter ce tableau. Je recommande vivement.

Prachtige locatie voor de hele familie. Grootouders, kinderen en kleinkinderen hebben een super week gehad. Alles was aanwezig . Voral terras en zwembad waren belangrijk om lekker te genieten.

Noël au CHARLU

Famille MOREAU JORQUERA, Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine. Le gîte est très confortable, sa grande salle au rez de chaussée est très conviviale. Les belles journées ont été propices pour faire de belles balades en forêt. Tous les ingrédients étaient réunis pour ces journées passées au Charlu restent inoubliables.

Séjour très agréable

La description du gîte était assez précise et en appelant le propriétaire j'ai eu une réponse immédiate à mes questions. La location était très propre, de bon goût, très bien équipée ,le jardin comme l'intérieur sont très bien entretenus. Nous avons testé le restaurant de l'hostellerie des cascades à Gimel les cascades qui est très bien ainsi que le restaurant de l'étang de Ruffaud...tous deux dans un cadre magique ! Nous recommandons ce gîte à nos amis et nous y retournerons nous-mêmes !
