House / Villa - Chatillon en Dunois

House dedicated to families only. We appreciate receiving a small note about you at the time of your request and the reason for your stay.
- We accept maximum 8 adults.
- Up to 12 people if there are minimum 4 children among its 12 people.

The property:

1h30 from Paris, in the Perche, character house offering all the comfort for a family stay of 10 people ideal.

Among our comfort assets the accommodation has a sauna, a beautiful fireplace, TV, DVD player, Wifi ...

And outside: indoor heated swimming pool from the beginning of April to the end of October, large garden, 8 bikes, swing, trampoline and table tennis table.

The pool enclosure also covers a terrace area with garden furniture for sheltered dining at the water's edge.

Reservation conditions:
- Guarantee of 600 euros to be given directly to the owner on site for the delivery of the keys.

Optional and on request:
- Additional costs to be returned directly on site in cash.

The house and facilities were great. Kids and adults loved the pool and the cover meant we did not have to apply sun cream every 5 mins which was a huge bonus. The property is very rural so you need a car for popping to the supermarket but otherwise everything you need is on site. If flies are an issue for you make sure you bring some fly catchers. The odd wasp was put off by a citronella candle so we were able to eat outside every evening. The owner purchased some new pool toys for our arrival and a brand new fridge had just been delivered. One of the children left their toy bunny behind after we left and the owner has kindly said he will arrange the postage for us and cover the cost. Hugely appreciated, excellent service.

Relaxing stay in a charming country home

Sebastian was an accommodating and helpful host, and we enjoyed our stay at his property. We were a group of 7, including 2 young children, and 2 elderly grandparents. It is a rural, charming house in farm country. The kitchen, dining and living areas are on the main floor, with the 4 bedrooms located upstairs. There is one full bedroom on the ground floor, and one full bedroom upstairs. The kitchen is well appointed, including a stove, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. There are two dining areas, one attached to the kitchen, and another more formal space by the living room. Each easily accommodated all members of our party eating at one time. The living area has several comfortable couches, and an internet-connected TV where we could log into our favorite streaming services. We try to travel light, and enjoyed use of the washer and dryer to do several loads of laundry. We did have a small challenge understanding operation of the European style dryer with a water tray, but Sebastian responded quickly to our question and helped clear things up. Since we were coming from the US, Sebastian also included bed linens and towels in the cost of our rental, rather than as an additional charge, which we understand may be customary in some European rentals. We greatly enjoyed the grounds of the property, and they were particularly well equipped for children with a trampoline, swing set and pool. Everyone enjoyed the pool to cool off from the summer days. The covered enclosure kept it warm and comfortable, even for late night swimming and relaxing. The rural setting was peaceful and quiet, and we could easily reach shopping, dining and entertainment/tourist activities by car within 30-60 minutes driving time. There was plenty of parking for our two rental cars.

To avoid any misunderstanding, I specify that when you speak of a large bedroom on the ground floor and another upstairs, it is rather a question of bathrooms. the lower one has a large shower and a sauna, the upper one a bathtub. The four bedrooms are all upstairs.

Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar. Es tut mir leid, dass Sie die Betten etwas schmal fanden. Wie in der Anzeige angegeben, gibt es ein 160 cm breites Bett und zwei weitere 140 cm breite Doppelbetten. Ich erlaube mir, darauf zu antworten, um dies für alle, die Ihren Kommentar lesen, klarzustellen.

Nos quatre petits-enfants (11-13ans) et nous, les Grands Parents, avons passé une semaine fort agréable dans une très belle maison aux beaux volumes, bien agencée, parfaitement équipée dans un tout petit hameau plein de charme. Heerlijk verblijf

Wij hebben met 5 volwassenen en 4 kinderen in het vakantiehuis verbleven. Heerlijk relaxed huis en groot genoeg om elkaar niet in de weg te zitten. Alles aanwezig, zowel in de keuken als aan speelgoed etc. om iedereen te vermaken. Geweldige tuin voor de kinderen om te ravotten. Ook het zwembad is vooral voor de kinderen heerlijk ook bij slecht weer. Enige kanttekening: het was niet overal even schoon, dat kan echt beter. Er kwamen sperziebonen tussen de bankkussens vandaan (en die hebben wij niet gegeten) en er hingen dikke spinnen / stofwebben. De afwerking bij het sanitair is aan vervanging toe. En dan heb ik het vooral over de kidranden. Maar buiten dat is het echt een aanrader dit huis.

Une magnifique maison pour passer du temps en famille

Nous y avons passé 1 semaine en famille et nous avons adoré. La maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Les enfants ont bien profité du jardin pour jouer. Les adultes ont adoré passer du temps ensemble à coté de la cheminée. La maison est très bien équipée et Sébastien est aux petits soins. Nous gardons cette adresse précieusement pour la prochaine fois. Merci !
