The charm of this old stone chestnut dryer, carefully renovated, is due to the simplicity and harmony that emanates from it. The combination of stone, wood and lime offers holidaymakers a warm and cozy welcome.
Surrounded by chestnut trees and with a large natural front door, the gîte represents a haven of calm ideal for recharging one's batteries and exploring our beautiful Cévennes.
Although located in the countryside, the cottage is less than 1.5 km from the village where there are all types of shops.
Swimming, hiking, idleness or culture, everything is possible! and in the fall, mushrooms and chestnuts are an added attraction.
The territory of the Cévennes National Park, listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, is a stone's throw away.
Several day trips are possible to the Pont du Gard, Uzès, Nîmes, but also Mont Aigoual, the Tarn gorges or Mont Lozère.
Thirty walks in the Cévennes valleys are listed, with the topo-guides made available to tenants. Some GPS tracks can also be communicated on request.
For bike lovers (road and mountain biking), the owner will be happy to advise on routes that have no secrets for him!

Wonderful

The house is superb, the attention to detail amazing, we loved sitting in the beautiful garden and enjoying lunch on the terrace. St Jean du Gard is the perfect village with excellent markets and there are excellent walks right on the doorstep. We can highly recommend a stay with Bernard and Regine they are the perfect hosts and we intend to return as soon as we can.

Petit Clède authentique, rénové avec gout, et très bien placé, au calme. Idéal pour randonnées et immersion en campagne cévenole. Propriétaires très agréables, calmes et à votre écoute pour vous offrir un séjour agréable. Le gite est très propre, confortable, petite terrasse bien exposée, et très agréable pour prendre l’apéro. Le terrain est soigné, bien entretenu, agrémenté d'arbres et de plants locales.

Et bien, ce fut parfait !L'accueil de nos hôtes fut à la hauteur de leur gîte, c'est à dire des plus agréable. Cette maison est très jolie et tout aussi fonctionnelle. Le jardin est un plaisir des yeux et la position géographique est idéale.Cette semaine passée au coeur des Cévennes restera un très bon souvenir.Merci encore à Régine et Bernard.

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Mein Sohn und ich verbrachten wunderbare Ferien in den schönen Cevennen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gefallen und hatte alles, was man benötigt. Vor allem die schöne Terrasse hat uns sehr gefallen. Schöne Region zum Wandern, Velo fahren, Baden im Gardon und Ausflüge. Vielen Dank!

Un très bel endroit, gîte dans une ancienne bâtisse en pierre, restaurée avec beaucoup de goût et de soins L'ensemble très bien aménagé, spacieux et très propre, donnant sur un espace extérieur superbe, terrasse et jardin fleuri. Steinhaus in der Natur

Das im traditionellen Stil gebaute Häuschen liegt sehr schöne oberhalb der Stadt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und die zwei Zimmer sauber. Einzig die Matratzen im Schlafzimmer sind nicht ganz optimal weil sie auf dem Gestell etwas verrutschen.

Merveilleux séjour

Nous venons de passer 2 formidables semaines. Tout était parfait, même au delà de ce que nous pensions. Le gîte est très bien équipé, propre, confortable, au calme . La literie est parfaite. Le jardin est magnifique et nous avons pu nous reposer à l'ombre en rentrant de nos balades. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et discrets. Fijn huisje op een prachtige plek

Fijn huisje op een heerlike rustige plek, met prachtig uitzicht en een mooie tuin en terras om te zitten. Heel fijn om vanuit te wandelen en van de natuur te genieten. Het dorp en de supermarkt zijn op 20 minuten lopen via een leuk weggetje. Vriendelijk eigenaren, helemaal goed eigenlijk.

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour passé dans le gîte de Mr et Mme DHOMBRES, lequel est très propre et bien équipé. Propriétaires accueillants et très agréables , ont su agrémenter notre séjour par de bons conseils de visites, randonnées et restaurants.
