About this property
Treehouse on The Stream • Porch & Yard Swings • Deck w/hot tub • Mountain Cabins Utah
Down a private road, past horse pastures and around the bend, your child within will be thrilled when you arrive at the Treehouse. The stream rushes by a large yard with swing set, foot bridge, and stone benches and table for outside dining. A true respite from the outside world. Mount Timpanogos stands proudly over Sundance Resort, just a five minute drive, where you will find restaurants, skiing, live music, art studio, gift shop, spa, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, ziplining, and flyfishing.
The Treehouse has two separate levels and entrances and works great for two families with kids who want their own space. The upper level is complete with living room, wood burning fireplace (wood provided), large windows and doors to the main deck. A full open kitchen and dining room with table seating for 10, plus counter seating for three , make meal time a breeze. A full bathroom with tub and shower. The kitchen deck with table for your morning coffee, provides a quiet space to retreat. The downstairs offers a living room, queen bedroom with bathroom, kitchenette, and doors to the ground level patio. A one of a kind place, there are lots of things to do here: walk to the edge of the stream and cool your feet, lounge in the grass, and watch chipmunks in the trees and clouds in the sky. In winter have a snowball fight and make snow angels. Any season, it’s picture perfect.
Room details and layout
Top level has a hall bathroom, one queen bedroom, and one bedroom with a full bed with a twin bunk bed over it, and a sleeper sofa in the living room.
Downstairs has a queen bedroom with bathroom and sleeper sofa in the living room.
See if you can locate the “trap door” with a ladder that connects the two levels!
You will have this dwelling to yourself along with a large yard.
Parking can accommodate 3 cars. We also have the availability to offer RV parking for additional guests, please inquire. If you’re looking to book multiple properties close to each other, Cottage on the Stream, Hideaway Above the Stream, the Log Cabin on the Stream, and the Treehouse on the Stream are all very near one another.

About the host
Hosted by Mountain Cabins Utah

Pamela and Lynn are partners in business and life. Lynn grew up in Springville, Utah, and Pamela in Phoenix, Arizona, and they met up in Austin, Texas, where they maintain their business and a home. Family, friends and the call of the mountains and Utah outdoor lifestyle has drawn them back year after year. Here is the truth: The winters bring you to Sundance and the summers keep you here!
Events like the Stadium of Fire Fourth of July Celebration, the proximity of small historical towns, ski resorts, hiking, biking in our backyard on beautiful Mt. Timpanogas, Bridal Veil Falls, tubing and fishing on the Provo River, wildlife and simply daily treats of nature captivate our senses. Everyday we are struck by what a beautiful place we live.
Our mission is to provide you with comfortable setting for you to practice your own form of relaxation in the beauty and serenity of the Treehouse Lodge on the Stream and Sundance.
This property is part of our endeavor for gifting the future called Properties That Make a Difference. We realize so many people and events have allowed us to do the things we love to do, like this property. So many people have given their time, talent and energy to us and a percentage of our proceeds from your rental will be designated to helping others. We believe in the power of one - be it one dollar, one action, one
kindness - each action creates a result and we would like to quietly create some extraordinary results for others. We have discovered it is the small things in peoples lives that make a difference. A trip to the dentist, new tires for a car, paying an overdue electric bill after a layoff, sponsoring a child to play sports, donating to a new program introducing children to the art of making films - things that directly affect a persons day to day life gives breathing room. Giving back to say thank you. Playing it forward.

Why they chose this property
We did not anticipate purchasing this property but we love stories and this house has quite a story. We purchased through an online auction. What an adventure that was! The property was in a bad state of disrepair but had such good bones. The former owner said it was full of sunshine, even in the winter. She was right. The spaciousness and potential transformation was intriguing and challenging. This house was originally built by a horse trainer for Robert Redford and then passed through four more owners. The last owner had heart and a kind, sweet soul. Her love of her animals, nature, rocks, pieces of artistic wood and her treasures endeared her to us. Her life struggles and challenges were huge and yet she survived. We will take care of her home and for those who created and left their mark on the property, we thank you.
This makes the third property in Properties That Make a Difference, Each are unique and different yet the common tie that binds them is the stream. Each property sits on the north side of the stream that emanates from a spring originating about a mile up the road in Aspen Grove. How did we get so lucky? We ask ourselves the same thing everyday.
Come and stay at The Treehouse Lodge and feel the magic of the mountains and enjoy the sunshine that fills this place knowing you will be contributing not only to your own health and well being, but to another someone who may not be as fortunate as we are.

What makes this property unique
Secluded, away from it all, yet so close to everything! Quiet dead-end road, windows that look out into the forest, the sense of living in a treehouse, having a grass lawn to lay on in the sun, the bridge that crosses the creek, all the nooks and crannies and benches to sit and enjoy watching the bobbing birds that fly up the stream and actually dive underwater for food, the deer, the squirrels and absolute serenity of the sacredness of Sundance. Hummingbirds and flowers in the summer and how about the breathtaking beautiful winters? And yes, you must have heard it before - Utah has the Greatest Snow on Earth.
Wander the property and venture up stream and discover the pioneer cabins built so long ago and envision what it must have been like to come here 100 years ago.
Parking is a commodity in Sundance and The Treehouse has plenty of room for bigger events and gatherings. This property and the sister property, The Cottage on the Stream, can accommodate 25 people in beds plus lots of outside sleeping in the summer. We have the expertise and ability to assist in planning and execution of your event. Call and let us know how we may assist.
