Lovely 90 square meters apartment in the heart of Monopoli's old town centre, with a wonderful sight of the seaside and with indipendent terrace. The house is sat 30 mt away from Carlo V castle, 50 mt away from the beach (rocky beach) and 5 minutes away (by foot) from well-known beaches of Portavecchia, Porto Rosso e Porto Bianco; you can also choose between free beaches and equipped ones. The location of the apartment makes you able to live the town in the total serenity, without the need of using a car.

IN CASE, WE CAN RENT MOTOR-SCOOTERS AND CARS BY NOTICING IT IN THE BOOKING

You have everything you could need in the neighborhood: supermarkets, the fresh fish and the fruit markets, bars, shops, pharmacies, DISCOS and whatever you could need during your holiday. The newly rinovated apartment (dicember 2010) is excellently well-refined. We recommend it to couples looking for a love nest or to families with children.
The house is the ideal one if you're looking for a holiday distinguished by relax, sea and, why not, by some nightlife fun.
In old town centre there are several services: typical trattorie, open-air bars and nightclubs (reachable by foot from the house) while, at Capitolo (a Monopoli's contrada) you can find discos and pub for young guys.

The house is composed by a spacious kitchen (bar area, stools, chairs and equipped hob - tableware, refrigerator, pots) and a beautiful living room with sofa, tv lcd 32", dvd player, stero, etc.

Very poor service, house not practical !

What a deception ! The pictures on the site don't show the reality The house is built on 4 levels, one room per level ! 45 stairs (yes !) to get from the kitchen to the terrace (better have good legs and food very hot if you want to eat upstairs). There is not even a tray to carry the dishes etc and limit the number of ups and downs ! "Superb view to the sea" ???? Definitely not : yes, you can partly see the sea from the rooftop (the best point of the house, with its situation in the city), but between other roof tops, church roof and TV antennas. The site says "parking" ? No private parking at all and you are not allowed to drive in the city. You thus have to park 10mn away from the house (I never got lucky enough to park closer for free in a 1 week stay). WiFi ? yes, but based on a 4G routeur that does not work inside the house (not at all or poorly). OK from the terrace, but ... 45 steps to do Internet on your computer, the same with your smartphone of course :-(. Dowload rate toped at 300Kbps, upload over 1Mbps. 90m² ? I doubt it, or it includes the terrace Bathroom is tiny, mirror broken and 1 light bulb missing The picture of the double bed shows 2 bedside lamps ? Not for us, there was only one, none in the other room (and the house is supposed to host up to 6 persons !) Kitchen poorly equiped (one pan, one coffee machine for one mug ; preparing the breakfast takes time..., house not so cleaned when we arrived (walking bare foot shows it all !) No iron nor iron table when we arrived ; we had to ask for it. 4G router out of order ; I had to ask for a charger Only one AC remote control working for 2 AC units 2 floors apart and it did not seem to bother our landlord... It was a mere problem of dead battery and I had to ask for them. Paint on the wall is partly falling down and not so clean. However, the house is well situated close to a small sand beach, the street is calm and there is AC (but only in the kitchen and in the parents room, not in the kids room). Monopoly is superb but I will definitely not recommand this house, at least, not at this price !

The property was in a quiet cul de sac, it was clean and beautifully maintained. Central location and fully equipped.Three of us stayed there comfortably, even the steep stairs were not a problem. The outside space was lovely, great for breakfast or a coffee.Francesco was so helpful and welcoming, even when we turned up late because of flight delays. Anything we needed to know he gave a quick response. I would confidently recommend this lovely home and host and am looking forward to returning.

Emplacement idéal. Hôte charmant

La maison de Franscesco est idéalement située mais il faut savoir qu'elle comporte 4 étages . La cuisine est au rdc et la terrasse 3 étages plus haut. Prévue pour 6 personnes mais il n'y a que 4 chaises. L'equipement est plus que spartiate (l'équipement de base manque et est insuffisant pour 6 . Pas de saladier, ni casseroles pas de four ni de micro ondes...). A notre avis elle n'est pas prévue pour 6 adultes. Nous y avons quand même passé un bon séjour.

Living La Vita Bella

We had a fabulous holiday in Monopoli. It is a beautiful city, full of atmosphere and history. Rocco's house is a traditional house in the historical centre. It is built like a tall cave structure made from heavy stone. It is unlike anywhere we have stayed before, so we feel we were true locals. Francesco made us very welcome, and the house was clean and nicely furnished. The position of the house is central but also quiet. We all loved it. The house was lacking some equipment such as cleaning stuff, towels or beach toys, maybe an umberella for the roof terrace. Otherwise, we were very happy. Tante Grazie Francesco!

Splendida la città, bellissima la casa!

La casa è bellissima, spaziosa e fresca. A due passi dalle splendide spiagge del centro e da tutte le attrazioni proncipali: pub, ristoranti tipici e scorci suggestivi per romantiche passeggiate ma non solo! Sono entusiasta della città e del soggiorno, servizio impeccabile! Tornerò, a presto!

Bellissimo appartamento in posizione strategica

Appartamento pulito, confortevole e dotato di tutto il necessario.. noi abbiamo dormito in 4 nell'appartamento con camera da letto più divano letto nel saloncino.. i proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibilissimi.. si trova nel centro di questa bellissima cittadina e a pochi minuti a piedi o di macchina dalle spiagge più belle della zona.. ci tornerei sicuramente!

Ottima vacanza viaggio...in Monopoli direi che su sta proprio bene..Ottima cucina e persone disponibili..qualche problema di parcheggio e balneazione nel weekend end..i padroni di casa assolutamente cordiali e corretti.

Ren och fräsch lägenhet med mycket bra läget i de gamla gränderna. Nära till både strand och restauranger. Tyvärr är det väldigt branta trappor inne och endast ett rum per plan. Bilderna ger inte rätt bild av boendet. Hopplock av porslin och bestick och vi fick inga vinglas trots flera påpekanden om detta. Bra boende om du har starka ben och friska knän

Arredo fantastico & vacanza meravigliosa

Camere pulitissime & arredamento stupendo! I proprietari sono stati molto Cordiali e disponibili! Location situata nel centro storico a due passi dal meraviglioso lungo mare e dallo storico Castello... Nei dintorni ci sono vari ristoranti dove poter degustare tante specialità del posto,soprattutto il pesce molto molto buono! Vacanza stupenda ed indimenticabile! Tornerò sicuramente da voi!

CHE SPETTACOLO!!

Pienamente soddisfatto del soggiorno, una casa stupenda con ogni comfort con una vista incredibile e in una posizione fantastica, vicina alla movida del centro storico dove ci sono locali di ogni tipo dove passare magnifiche serate e soprattutto immersa vicino alle bellezze da visitare della città tutte raggiungibili a piedi. Abbiamo ricevuto una eccellente accoglienza da perte del proprietario, casa presentata in maniera impeccabile e ha avuto anche la grande gentilezza e pazienza di darci ottimi consigli su come passare al meglio il nostro soggiorno. Location consigliatissima dove passare un ottimo e rilassante soggiorno, a due passi da tutto ciò che si voglia fare. ANDATECI!!

Soggiorno perfetto, posto incantevole e casa pulitissima. La posizione strategica (a due passi contati dal mare e dalla Basilica Cattedrale) è la sorpresa più bella del mio soggiorno. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!
