About this property

Wow, what a delightful town home! Portside Villas #36 is located at the extreme west end of the development. This town home offers an unobstructed view of the protected seashore to the southwest. This area of the beach is undeveloped and will stay that way. The owners spend lots of time and money selecting unique furnishings for this delightful town home.

The ground level garage offers parking for two vehicles. The living level offers the great room which is a combo living/dining/kitchen. This is a large well-equipped space. The living room even has a pull out sleeper sofa. The master bedroom offers a king bed, private master bath and access to the Gulf front deck which can also be accessed from the living area. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, as well as bunks and shares a hall bath with the great room area. This town home is pet-friendly for small dogs only, and a one-minute walk across the dune walkover puts you directly on the white sands of beautiful Pensacola Beach. You can almost feel the sea spray from the balcony. Elevator not available for guests.

Wonderful condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this condo and would give it a 9.5/10 if we could rate it! The only downside was the absolutely rude permanent neighbor next door but she was only an inconvenience once. Otherwise, the condo was absolutely perfect for our family! The two car garage is something we love so our cars (and selves) aren’t baking in the sun. Other than the stairs leading up to the condo, we loved that everything was on one floor for my parents in their early 70’s, their elderly dog, and our toddler. For being a 2 BR condo, it was very spacious and extremely well laid out. The furnishings were great, there was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and it just felt like home. We utilized both patios above and below, but spent most of our time on the upper patio watching the surf on the rough days and enjoying watching folks fish. The pool was another added bonus for the times the surf was rough. Last but not least, the location is the best you can get! Located next to the dog beach was an awesome bonus for dog lovers. Being the last condo on the beachside by Ft Pickens was great for views, traffic, and the beach crowds - we were the only ones for the whole complex on the beach! I literally can not say enough wonderful things about the whole complex and the cleanliness of the unit. We can not wait to return!!! Paradise Beach Homes was also wonderful to work with. The booking process was seamless, the instructions on checking in and out were painless, and if I had any questions, the team was happy to answer my questions. I will absolutely be booking with PBH again for our next trip to Pensacola!

Portside Villas #36 Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the condo on Pensacola Beach is great and the condo itself is nice. However, some of the furnishings, especially the sofa and the twin beds are quite old and worn and the entire condo is in need of a deep cleaning. We had to clean the kitchen counters as they looked and felt like they'd been quickly wiped over with a rag that left a dirty film. There were food bits/drippings on kitchen cabinets, dirty silverware in drawer and the coffee pot was dirty. There was mold on floor tile in the shower and a very rusty shelving unit in the shower. Much of the decor throughout had a layer of dust. Overall, we enjoyed our stay mainly because of the location and the nice outdoor patio but it would have been so much better had the place been clean. We know we could have contacted the property management company to have a cleaning crew return. However, it would have required a lengthy cleaning time and we didn't want to disrupt our vacation. We also didn't feel that we should be the one to monitor and report on the work done by the cleaning staff.

Excellent location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Definitely a 5+ star location. Last condo in the complex, on the corner, very private. Best location, two connecting balconies, off master and den, incredible views. Nice home but there is room for improvement. The master bed was comfortable but it was 2 twin beds pushed together which created the annoying crack in the middle. The master bath had a nice shower but poor design, requiring you to get wet to turn on the shower, and there was a very rusted shower caddy in the corner (needs replacement!). The paper supplies and towels were average to below average in quality. Toilet paper 1 ply, thin paper towels and only one roll, and no kleenex or liquid hand soap in the bath or kitchen. The bath towels could be much nicer. For the price and overall feel of the home, upgrading some of these items would bring this home to an overall 5+ star rating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the views, the convenience to the beach, and will return, however these are suggestions to the owners to bring your vacation home to the next level and really justify the per diem. Loved the eclectic furnishings!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let’s start with the garage. You can fit 2 full size cars in it! I didn’t know this just from looking at it. Once you get inside the garage there are chairs and beach toys to use if you desire. Upon opening the door to the house we were pleasantly surprised. It was like being at home. Every thing you need is in this house!
