About the host
Hosted by Jay Scott

I was raised in Montana and attended Montana State University in Bozeman. My family, friends and I have been skiing or vacationing in Big Sky almost every year since it opened. Although I love Montana my work has taken me to California so I cherish the 6-8 weeks per year I spend in Big Sky.
Why they chose this property
I have always preferred renting in the Meadow over the Mountain Village since it is less congested, is more reasonably priced for the space, has better access to more amenities, has so much more to do in the off ski months and may be more comfortable to some with an elevation of just over 6,500 feet above sea level. I watched this complex being built and have dreamed of owning one of the units. Luckily the recession provided me that opportunity.
What makes this property unique
We offer a unique Western Lodge feel. Most furniture and fixtures are made in North America and the majority purchase from local craftsmen with the exception of a few pieces from Europe and Mexico. Our wall hangings and memorabilia come from local artists, photographers or have been handed down from previous generations of Buffalo, Elk and Cattle ranchers. Although it may appear remote on a map, we are very centrally located to the following which may be of interest during your stay: Bozeman with its historic downtown, many restaurants, entertainment and shopping. West Yellowstone with access to Yellowstone National Park, tours and snowmobiling. Two world class fly fishing streams, the Gallatin and Madison which are also great for white water rafting. Lewis and Clark Caverns and many more attractions. And of course the Biggest and Best Skiing in America!
