Peaceful getaway! Granddaughters were able to spend time outside, enjoying nature and using the castle as a backdrop for budding photographers! Karen was amazing! We had everything we needed and more.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. It snowed while there and made it magical. The property owner was very nice and told us of the history as we checked in. It was a great place to stay if you want to get away but also be close enough to a larger town if needed. We will stay again.

Short overnight

This was such a quaint, cozy cottage. The owner resides next door and checked us in, gave us the story behind the castle, which we loved. It was remote but close enough to Branson to go to a show. It was definitely worth the stay!

Great location, friendly owners

The castle was beautiful and was Located between Buffalo River and Branson. The hospitality Shelby and Karen showed was amazing and Shelby did not hesitate to help us out with a flat tire when we asked for a tire Jack. Thank you Shelby! We will definately be staying here again in the future.

Perfect Place for us

We are so happy we found this place to getaway for our honeymoon/9th anniversary. Everything was perfect. It is a perfect place to disconnect from the world. We did do a show a day in Branson during our visit. Thank you for providing this getaway. We definitely coming back.

Our GPS led us straight to the castle with no problem. The first thing we did was go outside and explore. My favorite was the picnic table. Inside was clean and smelled really good. It was decorated so nice for our anniversary.

Quiet and serene

Karen's hospitality was second to none. The room was very clean and tidy. Great lengths were taken to make sure that everything you could need at your temporary "home away from home" were provided. We will be back!

Spectacular

We started out renting the cottage for my family and ended up renting the suite as well. The property is so beautiful. So many places to sit, relax and take in the sights. (And watch the fireflies while listening to the frogs/birds). The castle is so quant and fun. The story behind it just adds to the charm. The units were cozy and we had everything that we needes. The host was one of the sweetest people that i have ever met. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. 5 stars is not enough for our experience! Definitely would love to come back some day.

Lacey Michele’s Castle was absolutely beautiful and unique in the best way! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here and made many special memories with our pup Winston. Karen is a great host and she works hard keeping the place clean / making sure your stay is comfortable. We highly recommend and will most definitely be back!

What a delightful experience to stay at the castle that will forever live in my memory. The love that Shelby used to build the castle is ubiquitous throughout the castle casting an aura of peace and tranquility. Hidden gem

The property host was so wonderful! It was just an overnight stay but she was so accommodating to our needs. The cottage was spotless and the stonework of the castle was mesmerizing. We will certainly be returning.

If you want a place away from the city lights, to be able to unload your worries and rejuvenate your soul, & still be close enough to local restaurants & shopping, this is just the place to do it! It is tranquil, peaceful, relaxing and you will have a hard time saying good-bye.

The castle is located just 1 mile off Hwy 65. You can stay here and walk the 5+ miles of hiking trails, grill, make s'mores and stargaze late into the night.

We are Dark Sky certified and on April 8, 2024 we will be in the total blackout zone for the solar eclipse!
