The host was great, the ancient stone spiral staircase is super unique, not suited for mobility impaired or maybe even heavy drinkers.

Bijoux apartment close to everything

This was a studio type apartment located very close to the Soane River Quail and close to Old Town and Hotel de Ville area. You can walk most places and the Metro and buses are very easy to use. Lots of lovely restaurants, bakeries and pubs are close by. When the weather is nice, its a one minute walk to the quai where people love to sit and bring a drink to enjoy while they socialize. The bed was comfortable and the apartment had enough amenities to cook most meals. I was able to use my Netflix and the wifi was good. The apartment was a perfect size for one person. It was very quiet for the most part although there is a playground close by where kids like to play but very quiet at night. The only view is to other apartment building windows. There is an elevator to go up but you still have about six stairs to go down. Stairs are steep and circular. I really enjoyed my stay here. There wasn't much communication with the owner and it would have been nice to have a book with information and suggestions on places to eat or go but that's my personal opinion. I would recommend this for short stays as it is in the perfect location.

Bel appartement, très belle hauteur sous plafond, beaux murs très épais en pierre, quartier très calme tout en étant en plein centre.Sa situation nous a permis de tout faire à pieds.Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour.

We enjoyed this studio/apartment in a great location to discover Lyon, close to lots of cafés, restaurants and shops, just across the river from Old Lyon, near the various markets etc.

This apartment is ideal for a couple, with easy access to the old town and if you enjoy walking then the entire city can be explored on foot. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and our host was very helpful. Would have no hesitation in staying again.

A Little Gem in the center of Vieux Lyon

We loved this well appointed and beautifully decorated studio apartment. It was centrally located, clean and with all the amenities we needed. The owner was very receptive, informative and helpful. There are plenty of "bouchons" (restaurants) within a 5 minute walk. We recommend it wholeheartedly and should we come back to Lyon, we will certainly book it again.

Aufenthalt 3 Tage Ende August. Die Wohnung ist praktisch eingerichtet, alles Nötige ist vorhanden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind inklusive. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert (frz.), alle nötigen Infos zu Schlüssel etc. per Mail. Ich habe den kurzen Aufenthalt in Lyon sehr genossen. Gerne wieder! DS aus Luzern (CH)

Das kleine Apartment liegt nahe an der Saone. Die Altstadt und auch die anderen Viertel sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Für 2 Personen ausreichend. Sauber und bestückt mit allem was man braucht.

Nice apartment in a charming area

My husband and I rented this apartment in May. We absolutely loved staying in this area of Lyon. The apartment was very clean and close to many restaurants and stores. The stone steps leading up to the apartment were very charming! This area of the neighborhood was quiet and the public transportation was all within walking distance. Everything was comfortable and the owner was very quick to answer any question that we had. We would definitely stay here again if we have a chance to go back to Lyon!

Merveilleux séjour

Nous avons habité un bel appartement en deux temps: un séjour de 3 jours et un autre de 7 jours en l’espace d’une quinzaine de jours. Il est propre et tranquille. C’est un studio suffisamment grand pour nous deux et bien équipé. Nous avons eu un p’tit problème technique avec la télévision et c’est nous, qui a bousillé le sytème. Nous lui faisons part du problème et il a répondu à la vitesse d’un TGV😉 pour le régler. WOW. Ce fut grandement apprécié. Aussi, ce propriétaire qui prend soin de ses hôtes et nous gardons précieusement cette adresse de Lyon puisque nous avons apprécié son environnement tranquille et les services offerts. Une salutation chaleureuse au proprio et nous espérons nous retrouver dans ce lieu que nous avons aimé. Louise et Yvon

The studio was bright and attractive and clean. Location was great, could walk almost everywhere.

Lots of good restaurants nearby. Bathroom, shower etc. was great. Franck met us on arrival and came over promptly when we had a minor problem. As we like to "eat in"sometimes, we would have appreciated a better equipped kitchen, especially a cutting board and a bigger knife for the wonderful bread and pastries available close by.
