A lovely chalet with breathtaking views

We stayed in this very nice chalet for two weeks at the end of August, including the week of the UTMB. The chalet is very modern, well equipped and very clean. Jacques and Gisele are extremely helpful and welcoming hosts, including plenty of advice about hiking trails in the Chamonix valley. The views from the main living area over the Dome du Gouter and Aiguille du Midi are amazingly beautiful. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay!

Fantastic Chalet

Chalet was perfect. A good size for our family and was lovely and clean. The location is perfect for skiing multiple areas (You will need a car) within the Chamonix area. With the Mount Blanc Unlimited ski pass we skied in the local area (5-10min drive away) Houches - Saint-Gervais ski area. Then all the other areas range from 25 - 40 min drive including Courmayeur ski area (Italy). The chalet is well equipped within the kitchen however the best of all is the stunning views of Mont Blanc. The view is amazing and I would never get bored of it. Two large windows in the patio doors mean you can sit and eat and look at the mountains and the valley below day or night. We hope to be back staying in the chalet again.

Excellent séjour aux Houches. Le logement est très spacieux, parfaitement équipé et la vue sur le Mont-Blanc simplement incroyable. Les propriétaires sont également très sympas et accueillants.

Très beau chalet, conforme à la description, nous etions 7 et c’était largement suffisant. Tres bien équipé, il y a vraiment tout sur place. La vue est magnifique, on ne s’en lasse pas ! Pas loin du centre-ville des Houches, facile d’accès et très pratique la possibilité de prendre le train (gratuitement avec la carte hôte) qui est tout proche pour se rendre sur chamonix. La remise des clés se fait facilement et rapidement.

Fantastic chalet and great location

This chalet was just perfect. The owners were lovely and responded to my (many!) emails really quickly. Amazing view of Mont Blanc and perfect location for accessing Chamonix for the UTMB races. Very clean, open plan layout and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Could not fault this property.

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour dans ce chalet très bien conçu, très agréable et parfaitement équipé avec du matériel de qualité (literie notamment). Tout avait été prévu pour que nous passions une semaine très agréable. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir en randonnant les magnifiques paysages de la vallée de Chamonix. Il faut aussi souligner l'excellent accueil de la part des propriétaires qui nous ont fourni de nombreux renseignements sur la vallée. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Sehr schönes Chalet, welches keine Wünsche offen lässt.

Das Chalet ist praktisch und heimelig eingerichtet. Die Waschküche, Garage, Grill usw. sind super praktisch. Die verschiedenen Gartensitzplätze sind sehr schön. Bei sonnigem Wetter findet man immer einen Schattenplatz. Das Chalet liegt etwas ausserhalb der Hot Spots und daher ist es sehr ruhig. Es hat aber in 5 Min Autodistanz eine sehr gute Bäckerei, womit das Frühstück jeweils zum Tageshighlight wird. Die Eigentümer, Herr und Frau Bélisent kamen extra zur Begrüssung vorbei, inkl. einem feinen Apéro. Wir können diese Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Accueil chaleureux par Mr et Mme Belissent. Chalet impeccable, très bien décoré, vue magnifique. Un grand merci aux propriétaires qui ont été parfait. L'ensemble du contrat a été totalement respecté avec en plus du fromage et du vin blanc qui nous attendaient dans le réfrigérateur. On recommande chaudement.

Très bon séjour dans cet agréable chalet avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes enneigées et l'Aiguille du Midi, chalet très chaleureux et bien équipé. Nous sommes ravis, enfants et parents de nos vacances malgré une météo pas trop clémente, cela nous a permis de nous retrouver autour de jeux de société et partager de très bon moments. A refaire sans hésiter.... Nous voulions également souligner la gentillesse de Mr et Mme BELLISENT.

Un excellent séjour malgré une météo un peu capricieuse

Nous (famille de 5 personnes âgées de 5 ans à 74 ans) avons tous été enchantés par notre séjour. Le chalet est absolument irréprochable. Je ne vais pas ici répéter tout ce que les commentaires précédents disent de cette location pour la simple raison que je suis en parfaite synthèse avec ces appréciations. Un point mérite néanmoins d'être répété : la qualité de l'accueil de M. et Mme Bélissent, qui ont tout fait pour que notre séjour soit le plus agréable possible et se sont montrés particulièrement chaleureux et flexibles (notamment concernant notre arrivée). Je tiens à les remercier publiquement et témoigner du fait qu'après avoir loué près de 15 propriétés via ce site ou d'autres, nous n'avions jamais été si bien accueillis.

Magnifique semaine aux Houches

Séjour en famille parfait dans un cadre époustouflant

Jacques et Gisèle sont très prévenants et en même temps discrets, tout est pensé pour que l'on se sente comme à la maison, le chalet est particulièrement bien équipé et d'une grande propreté . La vue depuis le séjour est captivante difficile de décrocher le regard tellement le site est magique. Géographiquement toutes nos excursions se sont faites dans un rayon de 15 min de voiture depuis le chalet donc un très bon emplacement. Une adresse à retenir !

semaine inoubliable en famille

Nous avons passé , début mars 2020, une semaine avec nos grands enfants dans ce magnifique chalet. Une semaine de détente absolue,de ski ,et de bons moments en famille. Les propriétaires ont été très prévenants et accueillants et ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable ( avec une petite surprise au réfrigérateur en arrivant...). Le chalet est bien conçu, lumineux, les chambres à coucher spacieuses avec salles de bains attenantes pour deux d'entres-elles. La cuisine est bien équipée et fonctionnelle ( mieux qu'à la maison dixit mon épouse). Et indiscutablement le plus beau panorama de la vallée sur le massif du Mont-Blanc. Nous reviendrons !!!

Lovely chalet, beautiful view

We really enjoyed our stay here in this charming and beautifully maintained chalet. Every requirement for a lovely stay was thought of, and our hosts even gave us a bottle of local wine! The views are stupendous--and our hosts agreed that some of the vegetation needs to be cut back to enjoy them even more. The only issue with the location is that as Chamonix is a very active town, so there is a fair amount of noise from the valley and from local construction as the area is being developed further. But in fairly short order, the latter should be resolved. A truly wonderful stay with excellent hosts.
