- charming 4-room chalet about 1 km from the small ski resort of Roubion (10 km from Beuil; 15 km from Valberg, 1 hour and 10 minutes from Nice). Altitude 1500m, comfortable, fully equipped. lounge dining room with fireplace, new fitted kitchen, bathroom, 2 toilets, 3 bedrooms (one with double bed one with 2 single beds and one with 2 single beds and one double bed). 1000m2 plot, path access (equipment (chains) in case of heavy snow recommended).

A hidden gem

We had a delightfully relaxing 8 nights at this beautifully quirky chalet, Julie and her husband waited until nearly midnight to welcome us to their chalet as we had problems with our flight and ended up 12 hours later than expected. The chalet was lovely and clean and set in an idyllic location with only one house in the vicinity, the owners were charming. The views the first morning were breathtaking as it was dark when we arrived so had no idea what to expect. It snowed the first day to the delight of our 3 grandchildren who spent the morning bombing up and down the slope beside the chalet on their bumboards!! We had five days of perfect skiing at the nearby ski resort of Valberg, which was about a 30 minute drive and was one of the best ski resorts we have visited accommodating all levels of skiers. Unfortunately the local ski station at Roubion was not open due to a severe lack of snow this year. We ate both in at the Chalet and out and can highly recommend Chez Joelle in Roubion village who opened her restaurant especially for us. Also Le Sapin Blanc at Les Launes where there is a very reasonable set menu and the most amazing fondues! The Chalet’s one bathroom proved fun with 8 of us staying but we soon got a good rota system up and running and fortunately there was a second loo downstairs. We will definitely be booking Julie’s chalet again very soon.

Charmant chalet dans un hameau très calme , jardin et balcon pour prendre les repas dehors facilement face a la nature . randonnées à partir du chalet faciles jusqu’au village de Roubion très très pittoresque avec un office de tourisme , une petite épicerie et un restaurant. Point GPS serait utile pour y arriver facilement . Station de télésiège à proximité ouverte le week end.

Malgré une météo de pluie et de neige, nous avons pu skier deux après midi pour le bonheur de toute la famille et notamment des plus petits qui chaussaient pour la première fois. l'accès à la station en voiture ou à pied est aisée depuis le chalet. nous nous sommes également promenés sous la neige dans un paysage enchanteur autour du logement. Quant au chalet, il est très confortable, très propre et parfaitement équipé. les hôtes sont très sympathiques. Un sans faute que nous recommandons aux amoureux de la nature et de la montagne

Très bon emplacement , calme, proche des activités. Cependant le ravitaillement est compliqué car aucune épicerie fiable est proche. Prévoir d'aller à Valberg pour cela. Très bon contact avec les propriétaires.

Superbe séjour en famille

Chalet tres fonctionnel et confortable pour 7 personnes (à condition de s'organiser côté salle de bain !). De la place pour cuisiner avec tout le nécessaire, mais aussi de la place autour de la table et côté salon. Cheminée avec insert pour rendre l'ambiance encore un peu plus cosy. Merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse de mettre à disposition un tel lieu permettant de se retrouver en famille .

Ferienhaus in Roubion

wir haben vom Ferienhaus aus einen traumhaften Motorradurlaub verbracht, die Lage ist optimal für tolle Touren. Wir waren zu dritt im Haus und durch die 3 Schlafzimmer optimal untergebracht. Sehr ruhige Lage, super Aussicht, auch zum Wandern oder Radfahren sehr gut geeignet. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und es hat uns an nichts im Haus gefehlt. Lothar. Peter und Henning

Très bon séjour : le cadre magnifique, le chalet très agréable et fonctionnel.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille dans un très beau cadre de moyenne montagne. Le chalet était parfait pour nous : très propre, très bien aménagé, très bien équipé. Rien à redire. Nous conseillons fortement.

Toute nouvelle salle de bain avec douche italienne. On ne manque de rien, tout y est. Tout est fonctionnel, tout est propre, cuisine, literie,... chauffage nickel, eau chaude pour se laver à 8 sans problème. Un vraie maison de vacances. Des propriétaires super sympas, super dispos, polis, honnêtes, ponctuels. Endroit très calme... on ne peut que recommander ce logement où nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans la nature. Merci 🙂

Maison de montagne rénovée et très bien aménagée avec tout le confort que nous avions besoin à quelques minutes des remontés de la petite station de ski. Communication facile et accueil par les propriétaires.

chalet tres agreable et tranquille

propriétaires très disponibles et réactifs . avec quelques travaux dans la salle de bain pour les pers de +de 1m70 ce sera une location parfaite !

Route Roubion

Julie and Jean-Claude were fantastic hosts, very communicative and even provided a lift into town at the end of our stay to catch a bus. The property is brilliantly situated, with three great circular walks that take you through Roubion (two great places to eat) and back to the property. A great place to stay.
