About this property

Our house is a detached house in the residence Port Minervois beside the Canal du Midi- the canal is 200metres from one of the main gates
there are 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds- there is a kitchen- fridge- dishwasher and all the usual stuff
and a living room that opens onto the terrace which has its own table to seat 6
there is a terrace which is west facing and gets the evening sun and we dine there

Ceci est notre maison en France et nous aimons et vraiment profiter de notre temps ICI il est un développement agréable et il y a 7 restaurants dans le village voisin de Homps qui est 100metres aproximatley des portes de la mise au point draps et serviettes fournis barbecue et système de musique THIS IS OUR HOME IN FRANCE AND WE LOVE IT AND REALLY ENJOY OUR TIME HERE it is a pleasant development and there are 7 restaurants in the nearby village of homps which is aproximatley 100metres from the gates of the development sheets and towels supplied bbq and music system

Appréciations résidence minervois

Superbe maison. Petit bémol : il vaudrait mieux un barbecue électrique plutôt que traditionnel pour éviter les incendies. La piscine non surveillée et manque de place à cause que les deux lotissements ont accès à cette piscine. Manque d’activité faute pas d’animateurs. Barrière qui normalement doit être fermée est restée ouverte jour et nuit durant les 15 jours : pas de sécurité pour nos enfants et les villageois ont eu accès à la piscine. Très très bon accueil de Thierry et Céline, gérants du bar privé dans l’enceinte et très bonne ambiance en soirée

Nice house !

We had a very good stay at homps in the house. Nice house with enough space and a garden.

We live in Dublin Ireland and spend as much time as possible here - great weather and it is in the middle of the vineyards -
we spend a lot of our time cycling on the little roads through the vineyards or by the Canal Du Midi

Why they chose this property

We love the area it is situated between Carcassonne and Narbonne -in the middle of the Minervois area- it is unspoilt and scenic and there are loads of things to do and activities to suit all ages - the canal is nearby and is interesting -the old Cathar village of Minerve is a short drive away and Narbonne is 30 minutes by car - an old historical city with some good shopping and old Roman remains
- the Lac de Jouarres is 500 metres away and there is an amenity area - a sailing school paddle boats windsurfing etc - the little villages all have their own market days - Olonzac is 2 kilometres and market day is on Tuesday morning usually finishes at midday and Wednesday in Lezignon Corbiere- atmospheric- food and household goods -and clothes etc
Olonzac has a great artisan bakery - see photo of cakes in the photos!!!
