Superb house for rent on the quiet island of Kalymnos with magnificent views of the island of Telendos.

New four-facade house built in 2015 and finished in April 2016 established on the quiet island of Kalymnos, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life:
This beautiful house, built on a plot of 200 square meters (including parking);
Suitable for 6 people (2 bedrooms with wardrobes, drawers, air conditioning and private furnished terrace) + a comfortable sofa bed on the ground floor; each room has a terrace with sea view;

The house is decorated with a small swimming pool ideal for the relaxation of children (and parents), completely secured by the installation of metal rails.

The house has two levels with an internal staircase, a kitchen
spacious fully equipped (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove
electric, oven, microwave, toaster, many cupboards), a living room
pleasant with air conditioning, a shower room, two toilets, large veranda
equipped with a beautiful garden table + chairs and 2 deckchairs

Advantages: unlimited INTERNET connection, all clean, cleaned, upright bedding is
provided by the house; all cleaning is included in the rental price;
Nearby: climbing areas suitable for beginners or experienced climbers,
diving schools for all levels, Melitsacha beaches (near Masouri),
restaurants, mini-markets, various walks… These places are among the most
tourist attractions on the island and offer a real paradise for relaxation and climbing.

Reaching Pothia, the port of Kalymnos, is by boat from Athens (several
journey time) or Kos (30 minute crossing). Kos also has an airport
international served by many low cost airlines (Ryanair,
Easyjet…) In high season, the ferryboat leaves Kos at the port of Matsichari (10 minutes from
taxi from Kos Airport) to Pothia less than an hour after landing.

On an island full of amazing views, you would be hard pressed to find a better one than the view from this apartment. It’s very spacious and fit all of our needs as a group of 3 climbers.

Had a wonderful 2 weeks here. The view was stunning ad we loved having breakfast & watching the sunsets. The small was meant we didn't have to rush to the beach as we could cool off and enjoy just relaxing at the villa. It was quiet even in though we were there in August. Will be returning!

We just spent 2 weeks in this house and loved it! We really enjoyed the view and our 8-year old son really enjoyed the pool! The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are just fine. There were lots of clean sheets and towels and you could call the housekeeper for more if needed. The only thing that wasn’t to our satisfaction was that the downstairs toilette weren’t working properly, wouldn’t flush or couldn’t stop running water. However, we give this house the warmest recommendations and would love to book it again!

So Special!

Upon arrival we gazed off the balcony and were in complete awe of the view!! It's not often you stay at a place this nice for this price. Even our friend who has VRBO rentals said it was such a special rental. The photos on the VRBO site don't do it justice. Paul the owner was always quick to respond and so kind to us. Quite a treat to arrive to a bottle of chilled champagne that we saved for the first night after climbing. The driveway/road to the house is a bit intimidating but once you realize it's doable with a rental car it's no problem. I do think you would need your own vehicle to stay here cause it'd be a walk into town. We'll be back hopefully soon.

Super schöne Villa mit einem grandiosen Ausblick, sogar vom Bett im Schlafzimmer sieht man das Meer.Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht.Es gibt einen schönen Pool. Wir waren Ende September in der Villa, leider war der Pool da schon zu kalt, 21 Grad…. Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber.Wir würden die Villa jederzeit wieder buchen.

Umwerfender Ausblick

Wir haben zum Familienurlaub alles vorgefunden, was wir erwartet haben. Ein sauberes Haus, was exakt wie beschrieben war und vor allem eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die gegenüberliegende Insel Telendos. Wir sind pünktlich empfangen wurden (mit einer gekühlten Flasche Sekt) und auch die Kommunikation blieb die knapp zwei Wochen immer so aktiv, dass wir uns gut betreut gefühlt haben.

The owner and staff were incredible. The property is astounding and offers more amenities than other properties in the same price range at the time. This property offered significant value as long as you have a vehicle/scooter rental.

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig mit tollem Ausblick in Richtung Telendos. Die Küche ist mit allen technischen Geräten sehr gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind bequem. Wir hätten uns über eine kleine Grundausstattung mit Salz/Zucker usw. gefreut.

Villa splendide, très bien placée pour visiter l’île . L’accueil, et communication sont parfaits ! Le quartier est calme mais à 5 minutes du Centre ville de Massouri, où on peut manger, nager, et faire du shopping à souhait . À Massouri, le restaurant Agean Tavern est absolument à faire ! Super rapport qualité prix! Et en famille , le Manifesto est top aussi ! En famille, avec les enfants ou en amoureux ,la villa est parfaite ! Nous reviendrons ! MERCI ! ❤️

This is such a beautiful property - the views are stunning and the house itself is perfect. The welcome we received from the local hospitality team was brilliant - with complimentary bottle of Prosecco from ‘Mr Paul’ 😊We would definitely recommend a holiday here and we would also recommend hiring a quad bike for the whole stay as the walk back to the house is a challenge! (Pre-book quad bike as they are in high demand) Overall - fantastic experience and we were really sad to leave and we are planning to return 😁

Beautiful views, clean and modern home.

We enjoyed our stay at Paul's villa in the fall of 2018. It is a nice new villa with all amenities including a pool! Everything in the villa was extremely clean and worked well. As it was a bit cool at nights during our stay, we even enjoyed the heating units in each room. We were welcomed by Niky, a super friendly and helpful local and Paul had generously supplied a bottle of bubbly for us to enjoy on our arrival as well as flowers and a departing gift! Very generous! The only suggestion I might make is to have a coat tree in the main living area to hang outdoor wear in the cooler weather. We ended up hanging our jackets on the backs of chairs, which worked fine, but an alternative place would be appreciated. Thanks Paul, for opening your home to us!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette belle maison et sa vue imprenable sur l'île de Telendos et la côte de Kalymnos. La piscine est fort appréciable. Toutefois il faut avertir les résidents de la raideur de la pente qui conduit à cette maison comme à toutes celles de ce quartier. La maison est confortable ; mais un ou deux bols et saladiers ou plats supplémentaires seraient bienvenus.

Fantastic views

We stayed for 10 days in this beautiful villa with stunning views towards Telendos. The house was very clean and modern with a lovely little pool that our 2 children fully enjoyed. The owner was very helpful and kept in regular email contact to assist us prior to our arrival and sorting out any little niggles during our stay. The house was very comfortable and felt even better than it did perhaps in the pictures. There are 2 double beds in rooms of equal size each with their own balcony which would be good for couples or children willing to share a bed. The island is great for climbing and we found a local climbing school to give us some tuition. I would suggest the house is in the best settlement on the island for tourists, with boat trips to Telendos and Leros within walking distance. However to fully explore the island a car seemed to be quite vital. We arrived at Kos airport and Sur-Price would not allow us to take a car over on the ferry (which is very simple to use) so instead we had to change to Hertz who did at the last minute. The drive up to the villa is very steep measuring 20 degrees in places according to the tilt meter on my iPhone. A nervous or inexperienced driver could conceivably find manoeuvring on the drive way difficult. In all we had a fantastic stay, it was a beautifully quiet place in which you can choose whether to unwind and relax or throw yourself into activities such as climbing and diving in a stunning setting.

Wow! What a property, views are incredible and has everything you need

Myself and partner have just spent 2 weeks at this fabulous property and have had such a thoroughly brilliant time. The house is situated at the top of Mirties and the views are spectacular, wether it be from either bedroom, the main room or the superb balcony/veranda and yes it is a fair walk back up each day/night if you don’t have a car - though going down at night is fine if you are reasonably fit and you can get taxis back from Mirties/Massouri at night if you want. The neighbourhood is really peaceful and you have no choice but to relax and enjoy the views and time there. It was really clean throughout and the attention to detail that Paul and the ladies have given to all of the equipment through the property is excellent. It has everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms, with ample space for a family (there were only 2 of us.) Breakfast on the veranda with the view over to Telendos is absolutely spectacular and with lots of utensils, you can cook whatever you want to - or not! Plenty of cups, plates, glasses etc and full of cleaning equipment and utensils also. The air con is excellent, quiet, v efficient and very welcome in the July/August Kalymnian heat, as was the clean pool, which was such a key aspect for me and my partner - that cool mid afternoon dip was superb, again with views overlooking the village - just wow! Thank you for the welcome water in fridge and of course the chilled ‘fizz!’ What a way to be welcomed and start the holiday. The 2 ladies who met us on our arrival were really informative, pleasant and very accommodating Thank youPaul and team for helping it to be such an unforgettable holiday. Geoff & Leanne
